Pet care experience
Experienced Animal Lover!
I’m an experienced Rover sitter who recently began working as a Vet Tech Asst, and I’d love to stay with your pets! Caring for living things - from plants, to small animals, to large dogs - is something that makes me happy and I love finding ways to do more of it. I am always excited to walk, cuddle, bathe, brush, read to, watch TV with, play fetch with, help train, and clean up after your pet. In addition to being on rover for five years, I have been pet-sitting since I was very young and have experience with many breeds/ages of dogs and other companion animals. Whatever you need, I look forward to keeping your pet happy while they miss you.

Safety, trust & environment
I spend as much time as my day allows with your pet, even if that means taking them with me on a car ride (at your comfort!). I am extremely respectful of other people’s homes and work hard not to overstep any boundaries. House-sitting is at minimum me “living at” your home outside of work, overnight stays, making sure all animals have food and water, a meet and greet beforehand, playtime and cuddle time.
Ratings and reviews
Rachel was fantastic! She kept me updated on how Nova was doing and sent us tons of pictures throughout the day, which we really appreciated. Nova and Shiloh got along great and apparently played HARD all day! 😂 It was nice knowing she was having such a good time and being well taken care of. I’m pretty sure Nova is going to want to go back to visit Rachel and Shiloh again soon!

Rachel took great care of our cats and gave them lots of attention

Rachel really went above and beyond for us and helped us out beyond just the daily feedings and play time. We really appreciated her efforts in helping us!

Rachel was great. Super responsive and treated our dogs very well. Would definitely ask her to watch them again!

I am an anxious pet owner, and Rachel put me at ease immediately when she came for our meet and greet! She communicated punctually regarding the meeting, was very professional and warm, and most importantly seemed extremely capable of caring for our pups. She arrived on time for her stay, provided regular updates, and did everything that we asked of her before leaving our home in perfect shape. Thank you, Rachel!

Rachel has been amazing! We are so lucky to have found her! She’s been so good to all of our pets and having her come by for drop in visits really puts me and my husband at ease when we are working long days. She sends us the cutest and funniest photos which also brighten our long days at work. She obviously loves animals and really cares about her clients pets.

Schedule
I always start by scheduling a free meet and greet to discuss you and your pets needs so that I can provide exactly what you are looking for. Recently my husband has joined my “rover team” and can do drop-ins even when I am booked. If you’d like for him to come with me to a meet and greet just ask :) If your pets are uncomfortable with men let us know and we will, of course, accommodate. I work 3-4 10 hour shifts a week and will stay with your pet during all downtime. (Weekends open) I want to accommodate your schedule so I can hang out with a cool pet!
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsRachel can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Before pet sitting I really want to know any rituals they expect. (Ex. Going outside at specific times, leash procedure, feeding times, rewards for certain behaviors, etc). Most companion animals are creatures of habit and I don’t want to cause them any confusion or frustration. Do they like other animals? How long can they be left in the house by themselves? And are they house trained/how much time do they spend outside? Any medical concerns? I am flexible with all species and breeds and just want to know what you and your pet expect from me up front.
