“Casandra was great with Juno! Juno is very particular on who he likes and immediately at the meet and greet Juno was very receptive to Casandra! Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby”

“Thea was fantastic with my two dogs, Odie and Pepper! She did drop in visits for me on Saturday, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly very comfortable with dogs. She made sure they were well taken care of, gave them attention, and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. It’s such a relief to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Tiffany was amazing and made us feel extremely comfortable from our first meeting to trust her with our puppy. She also went above and beyond putting on puppy tv daily and turning on and off the lights. She was also a peach taking care of our house”

“Brianna could not have been better with sitting for Alley. I was completely convinced that she would hide from Brianna as she does with everybody, but Brianna was able to get her to come out and play and it really gave me tons of peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her!”

“isabel was so kind and patient with my dogs, especially my reactive chihuahua. she’s also very trustworthy and flexible to work with. i will continue to book her as long as she’s available! thank you.”

“Hailey was very patient and understanding with my dogs. They are a tough bunch so when I had to go out of town and leave them for a few days, I was worried about not being able to find the right fit. Hailey really took a weight off my shoulders.”

About: I’ve owned pets my whole life, I fostered 12 puppies a couple years ago and have always had at least 3 dogs. My dream career is to be a Veterinarian and own a non-profit animal rescue. My friends have trusted me to come by and care of their dogs when away on vacation, but this would be my first time pet-sitting for Rover! SIDE NOTE (PLEASE READ): I will not be walking any dogs in 95+ degree weather without some sort of protection for their little paws. Protection and comfort is top priority!! I wish I had more photos but I tend to focus more on the animals than to get my phone out and take photos prior to Rover so my collection is small but i’ll be adding to it!) I do have a part-time job but it’s very flexible, and I will be able to adjust to your needs and personal schedules. I can assure any potential pet owners who are interested in my care for your dog or cat that they will be prioritized. I will not be doing any pet-sitting at my own house because I do own a reactive dog and one who’s a bit older, but they have a fenced yard with water accessible 24/7, home-cooked rice and chicken twice a week (they’re spoiled) a friends ranch nearby they go to for running and walks, and a toy box with all the toys they could dream of.
“Lindsay was very nice and profressional and took care of all my cats needs and more. She was accomodating with our schedule and gave my cats the social interaction they needed when we were gone so I highly recommend her!”

“She’s absolutely wonderful and always takes such great care of Luna. This was a last-minute request, and she was more than happy to help, which I truly appreciated. She’s reliable, and makes me feel completely at ease leaving my pup with her.”

About: I have had dogs nearly my entire life. And a variety of other pets sporadically, like fish, hamsters guinnea pigs and others. I have also been blessed to have been a rescue foster and the reward of helping heal thier emotional and physical health and finding their Furever homes. I understand pets are family. I work from home FT so most availability is evenings and weekends. If you are super close by, I may be able to dropins during the week days. I am comfortable with all sizes ( we have 3 dogs 50-120 lbs) and do respect your training protocols. I always check the fences and gates before letting them out in the yard.
About: I've been taking care of pets and pet sitting since I was 13. In addition to dogs and cats, I have 20+ years of equine experience. My love of animals has also lead to my career in the veterinary medicine field, which I have been involved in for almost 10 years. I currently work full-time at a veterinary surgical center, but am available Wednesday afternoons and all weekend. Depending on the day and time, I can also help out some weekday evenings at/after 6pm. I will care for and play with your fur baby as if they were my own! I have one dog at home who is very friendly, so if ever an overnight stay is needed at my house, I'm happy to welcome them in! I do have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run/play and have the availability to crate, as needed.
“Leslie was quick to respond to my last minute booking request for a drop in visit. She gave my baby exactly what she needed! Zoey loved Leslie and I’m looking forward to booking her again. Thanks Leslie❤️”

“Nadia is a true cat lover, and takes the best care of our four cats. She's very responsive, and we have used her multiple times. She makes sure our cats have their meds, and lets us know if anything is going on with our elderly kitty. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m a pet mama to an active Border Collie, and a super chill cat, so I know exactly how to cater to different personalities. Regardless of whether your pet needs a good workout session, or quiet cuddles, I’ve got you covered! Growing up around animals naturally led to years of caring for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I'm completely comfortable with specialized care, from strict routines to administering medications if your pet isn't feeling their best. Leaving your fur babies with someone new can be stressful, I know. It’s very important to me that they feel safe, loved, and at ease. I will be patient and compassionate to your pet as I would with mine. My schedule is flexible. I’m happy to hang out with your pet for walks, play time, drop-ins, or last minute requests. Reach out and connect with me, I’m always glad to help out. I understand how important it is for your pet to feel secure in their space. When I visit, I keep things calm and respectful, never rushing or overwhelming your pet. I follow instructions carefully, use positive reinforcement, and ensure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I always treat your home and pet's routine with the same respect I’d want for my own.

Kailey was awesome! Kailey took wonderful care of my cat, Coco, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was dependable, kind, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. When I got home, Coco was happy, relaxed, and obviously well cared for. It was clear that Kailey spent quality time with her and made sure all of her needs were met. Knowing Coco was in such capable and caring hands made my trip so much less stressful. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Paloma Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
