“Vincent took amazing care of Bentley! I needed someone to stop by to let my puppy out and he had so much fun with Vincent! If you need someone to watch your dog Vincent is the perfect guy!”

“Ashley was a wonderful dog sitter. She had an emergency and was able to help us secure back-up for a few days. I definitely will recommend Ashely as she is caring and professional!!!”

“Casandra is great with our cats, giving lots of updates and feedback on how they're doing during her checkins and even going above what we've asked her to do ☺️”

“I have a Rat Terrier that was a puppy mill momma rescue, and so I will never leave her in a kennel. She is extremely mistrusting of anyone outside of our home, but Leigh is like a dog whisperer. She came twice prior to the first lone visit to ensure my girl could be ready for such a new experience, and was able to bond enough to not only do what was needed, but to also get kisses and tummy rub time. In the end, not only was my puppy cared for, I believe this was a powerfully therapeutic process for her as well. Leigh will be our sitter as long as she is willing!! Highly recommended!!”

“Brianna could not have been better with sitting for Alley. I was completely convinced that she would hide from Brianna as she does with everybody, but Brianna was able to get her to come out and play and it really gave me tons of peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her!”

“Anna is amazing. I have the grumpiest cat alive and the other is really skittish. After 4 days, Anna had won them over. She is reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I highly recommend her. I will definitely book her from now on anytime we need a sitter!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for years and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your family member. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m dependable, patient, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I offer flexible scheduling for both in-home boarding and drop-in visits. I can accommodate weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays with advance notice. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m stopping by your home for feeding, walks, playtime, or potty breaks, I’ll make sure they receive consistent, attentive care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and designed to provide a calm, welcoming environment for boarding guests. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, exercise, attention, and I’ll leave your home just as I found it. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Hailey was very patient and understanding with my dogs. They are a tough bunch so when I had to go out of town and leave them for a few days, I was worried about not being able to find the right fit. Hailey really took a weight off my shoulders.”

“Sarah has been amazing to say the least. We had to find someone quickly to take care of our pups during the week while we were away during the day and Sarah was extremely responsive and sweet. I look forward to having her help in the future ❤️🐾🦴”

“Hoa is AMAZING!! My dog is very hyper and he handled him perfectly!! He sent me so many videos and photos so I knew how my pup was doing!! I will definitely be booking Hoa in the future!!”

“Emily was extremely professional, attentive and went above and beyond to take care of my lab for several days when I was out of town. She was very flexible with her timings and took my lab on more walks without me even asking, she followed instructions to the dot and was great with providing medications, ear cleaning and full bath/grooming. Would definitely trust her to take care of my lab again.”

About: **About me** I love all animals...haven't ever met a furry, feathered or scaly friend that I didn't get along with. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic in Frisco and have been working in the Vet Med field for over 6 years, but taking care of all types of babies for over 20 years. I would love the chance to care for your “kids” while you are away or just give them some extra attention during the day if you are working long hours. I have experience with administering medication for dogs and cats, senior and/or puppy & kitten care and other special needs such as anxiety or stress. **About my home/services** Currently, I'm unable to offer in home service at my home. But, I would be more then happy to come to your home for check-ins or to stay overnight if needed. I would also enjoy taking your pup out for some much needed playtime or if you need pickup/drop off service, I can assist with that as well. **About my neighborhood** I live in a great neighborhood with several parks, sidewalks that will provide safe walking for us and a nearby lake which all make for great playtime and fun adventures. **What to expect** While your baby is in my care; they will enjoy walks, we can throw the ball, and of course plenty of cuddles. I can also provide extra special care for the senior dogs/cats or any pet with special needs, I have plenty of experience in that area. I will provide daily updates filled with plenty of photos. **Special rules or requests** I enjoy spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes. I do not have a preference with size or breed....dogs, cats, rodent, birds, fish, reptiles, etc. I will love them all the same! I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, but I would love to try to fit your babies into my schedule. I can do drop ins before and after work and I’m available to stay with them at night, as well as spend extra time on my days off. I have a large safe fenced in yard, but I would prefer to care for your baby at your home where they are more comfortable.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oak Point. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
