About: I am an experienced nanny/pet sitter, so I am well versed at tailoring care to an individual pet or family’s needs and expectations. As a pet parent to a rescue dog with special needs, I understand the importance of having a reliable caregiver you can trust. I take time to build rapport with animals in my care, follow instructions meticulously, and maintain consistent communication. I grew up with cats, fostered rescue dogs (until the last one never left💕), and provide pet care for friends, neighbors, and nanny clients regularly. I do have *some* experience with caring for chickens, ducks, goats, and horses. I have previous experience working for a dog rescue and have a special place in my heart for rescues, especially those needing extra care and consideration due to past traumas and challenges. I am comfortable accommodating any special needs, behavior concerns, senior animals, and medication administration. I’m Pre-K teacher visiting family in the area for the summer, so I have a completely open schedule with plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your pet! I am always courteous and respectful of your home and strive to meet your needs and expectations with care and diligence. I am meticulous about following instructions and careful to leave things exactly the way you left them.
“Emily was extremely professional, attentive and went above and beyond to take care of my lab for several days when I was out of town. She was very flexible with her timings and took my lab on more walks without me even asking, she followed instructions to the dot and was great with providing medications, ear cleaning and full bath/grooming. Would definitely trust her to take care of my lab again.”

About: I'm a life-long pet owner and animal lover. I am a responsible, caring, thoughtful adult who understands the necessity of providing care to pets at the times requested and with the services as discussed. I am great at learning and adapting to the preferences of your household and pet(s) and look forward to exceeding your service expectations! I'm a fully remote employee with a flexible schedule. I have reliable transportation and I don't have children, so I have infinite flexibility without having to worry about school or activity schedules. I will treat your home with the utmost care and respect, as I do my own. I pride myself on leaving spaces better than I found them when I can. I am highly sensitive to safety and security of home environments including fences, door locks, and windows. I love to be active with pets when they want my love and attention, I'm equally happy to sit calmly and read a book if they just need a loving presence.
“Breanna is a great dog sitter! She is always on time and does exactly what we ask her to do during the visit. We’re working on potty training my puppy and her feedback about whether the pup went pee/poop is invaluable. Most importantly, my dog loves her. She always looks like she’s having a great time in the photos we get from Breanna.”
“Brianna could not have been better with sitting for Alley. I was completely convinced that she would hide from Brianna as she does with everybody, but Brianna was able to get her to come out and play and it really gave me tons of peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her!”

About: **About me** I love all animals...haven't ever met a furry, feathered or scaly friend that I didn't get along with. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic in Frisco and have been working in the Vet Med field for over 6 years, but taking care of all types of babies for over 20 years. I would love the chance to care for your “kids” while you are away or just give them some extra attention during the day if you are working long hours. I have experience with administering medication for dogs and cats, senior and/or puppy & kitten care and other special needs such as anxiety or stress. **About my home/services** Currently, I'm unable to offer in home service at my home. But, I would be more then happy to come to your home for check-ins or to stay overnight if needed. I would also enjoy taking your pup out for some much needed playtime or if you need pickup/drop off service, I can assist with that as well. **About my neighborhood** I live in a great neighborhood with several parks, sidewalks that will provide safe walking for us and a nearby lake which all make for great playtime and fun adventures. **What to expect** While your baby is in my care; they will enjoy walks, we can throw the ball, and of course plenty of cuddles. I can also provide extra special care for the senior dogs/cats or any pet with special needs, I have plenty of experience in that area. I will provide daily updates filled with plenty of photos. **Special rules or requests** I enjoy spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes. I do not have a preference with size or breed....dogs, cats, rodent, birds, fish, reptiles, etc. I will love them all the same! I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, but I would love to try to fit your babies into my schedule. I can do drop ins before and after work and I’m available to stay with them at night, as well as spend extra time on my days off. I have a large safe fenced in yard, but I would prefer to care for your baby at your home where they are more comfortable.

Ashley was wonderful to work with! She was always punctual, flexible when our plans changed, and kept us updated with messages and photos while we were away. Knowing Ella was so well cared for gave us such peace of mind and made it so much easier to enjoy our trip. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book Ashley again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oak Point. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
