“Yesterday’s visit went smoothly! The dogs were well cared for and came home happy. I loved receiving photo updates throughout the day—it gave me peace of mind. We’ll definitely use Deepa again! Highly recommend! ❤️”

“Pinto’s first time with Jingyi and Pinto enjoyed every moment. She updated us all day like a child first day in school. We did not miss a moment. She is dog person as I’ve ever met. Already booking for several longer stays. Thank you Jingyi, you’re awesome.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my house since I was born. I have years of experience dog sitting, dog walking. I own two sweet, gentle amazing dogs — your dog will be safe, spoiled, and loved while staying here. I have a fenced in yard & a dog park close by as well. Reach out for any additional questions - excited to care for your pup! I currently work part time as a nurse and home most days of the week. My schedule is flexible and I will adjust to whatever is needed. I am never gone for more than 4 hours at a time. I have a mini Australian shepherd and a golden retriever. They love playing with new dogs and running around the yard. I live in a community with lots of sidewalks and areas to take your dog if they love walking or exploring.
About: If your dog is your baby, then we are speaking the same language. I recently lost my baby of 16 years, so I am reopening my home for pet sitting and doggy daycare. I work from home full time, and have experience caring for senior dogs. Your babies will have plenty of dog beds, toys, blankets and couch seats to enjoy at my house. My apartment is more of a corner townhouse with a large green grassy area directly out front, and a creek walking trail just behind it. I have indoor smart cameras to monitor them if I need to step out or run errands. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be a little nerve wracking. I made a list of rules for my owns parents to watch my dog when I first got him, so rest assured they are in competent and caring hands. I will send plenty of pup selfies too so you won't miss them as much. Please let me know if you have any questions before booking. Does your pup want to be employee of the month? I work at home so the position is open and they will be treated with VIP status. Pets are allowed on all the furniture and cuddling is encouraged. I try to take any pet guests outside several times a day as they adjust to a new environment and so they can explore new places. I also have a crash tested dog car seat for up to 35 pounds if they like to go for car rides or visit the park.
“Ashley was wonderful with Ollie! She was kind, communicative, and made sure he had a fun and safe day. Ollie came home happy and tired, which is always a great sign. I really appreciated the updates and photos. I’d definitely book with Ashley again! Highly recommend!”

Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, high-energy breeds, and shy or anxious dogs. I’m patient, calm, and attentive—your pet’s routine, comfort, and happiness always come first. I take pride in making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and understood while in my care. I currently am a stay at home parent, which gives me plenty of flexibility to devote quality time to your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends weekday. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure your pet gets consistent attention, playtime, and affection. I stay in close communication and keep routines as familiar as possible so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard so your pup will always have a safe place to explore. I can easily crate your dog if requested or needed, and I follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, or special routines you provide. In your home, I respect your space and keep things clean, secure, and just the way you left them. You can count on me to treat your pet and your home with care and professionalism.
“We had a wonderful experience with Judith!! We are always nervous to try someone new but Judith made us feel very comfortable with her caring for our baby. She sent updates and pictures and kept us in the loop the whole stay. Would use again!”

“The most convincing sign that our pup had a great time was when I was chitchatting with Christopher at pick up and my dog went back inside their house, as if he wasn’t ready to leave. My pup seemed very happy with their dog Pablo and their house and neighborhood were very safe and in a great location. Super convenient, easy scheduling, great communication. We will definitely be booking again!”
“Madison was great and very professional. She helped Medusa get comfortable and meet other dogs as she is working on socializing. Madison have an update which was great and put me at ease.”

“Kenzie is amazing! I feel very comfortable leaving my puppy in her home for daycare. Great communication, safe place for my puppy, and I definitely recommend Kenzie for your pup! Rebooking for my puppy!!”

“Lisa has been kind enough to watch Leonard on the days I have to go into the office. When I picked him up the first day, he was calm and not at all stressed. She treats him as if he is her own and he feels a lot more comfortable being in a home setting rather than at a doggy daycare. Lisa made sure he was fed at the appropriate times and took him outside when he wanted. Very thankful I’ve found someone caring to watch him.”

“This was my first time leaving my pup away from home and with other people— I am so glad he was with Rini and her husband! They sent wonderful photos throughout the day and I could see that my pup felt happy and right at home. Thank you Rini!”

“Our pets are everything to us and I am delighted to say that my darling puppy has found the best dog sitter. Shalini and her family love her as much as I do. She is safe and pampered at their home. I am so happy that I can trust them with her without any worry. They are THE BEST!”

“Damon and Danyale were amazing when I needed a last minute day sitter when our original sitter was not available. I’ve been needed to find a back up one close to home and definitely will be using again when needed. Damon sent many photos throughout the 2 days he was there. Highly recommend.”

“They take such good care of my dogs. My girl is very sensitive so I can always tell if someone scares her. Both my dogs are always bouncing off the walls when I come to pick them up. 🥰”

“Sean did a great job with our Bassett hound Lilly. Our family had a change in our travel schedule and Sean replied quickly and was accommodating to our doggy! Thanks so much Sean!”

Toria was absolutely wonderful with Rip! He’s a 1½-year-old Boston Terrier with lots of energy, and she took such great care of him. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while I was away. She kept me updated, treated him like one of her own, and he came home happy and well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to trust Toria with Rip again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Thank you, Toria, for taking such great care of my boy!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
