About: I have been around dogs since I was 10, and for the past two years, I’ve raised a high-energy Husky. This has taught me the importance of structure, long walks, and patience. My Husky is incredibly friendly and loves the company of dogs big or small, making my home a great place for socialization. Whether your dog needs a vigorous run or a buddy to play with, I’m ready to provide a safe, fun, and active environment My daily life is already very dog-centric. Since I have a two-year-old Husky, we have a firm routine of morning exercise, backyard play sessions, and evening walks. Because I have a large, securely fenced backyard, I can offer guest dogs frequent 'zoomie' breaks and outdoor play throughout the day. Your pet will be seamlessly integrated into our active schedule, ensuring they never feel bored or restless I offer a secure and welcoming environment where your pet is treated like a member of the family. My home is set up specifically for the comfort of dogs, with plenty of room to lounge and play. Because I have a large, fully fenced backyard, I can provide a safe space for outdoor fun under my constant supervision. Having raised an active Husky, I’m very mindful of safety and keep all household items securely stored so your pup can explore their 'home away from home' worry-free.
“We had a wonderful experience with Judith!! We are always nervous to try someone new but Judith made us feel very comfortable with her caring for our baby. She sent updates and pictures and kept us in the loop the whole stay. Would use again!”

“Toria and her husband are the best sitters ever. They communicate well throughout the day and are always quick to answer. This is the second time they’ve watched our Amber, and she comes back happy and was happy to see the house again when we dropped her off so that means a lot. Would recommend 100%”

About: Your pet isn’t just a booking to me…they’re family. With 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities, I’ve built my reputation on one simple principle: I love your babies like my own. That means real playtime, training sessions, belly rubs, walks to explore the neighborhood, and yes — if you want them eating clean and premium, I’ll cook them fresh chicken and rice at no extra cost. Your pet gets the full treatment. I specialize in high-energy and anxious dogs, senior pets, and animals with special needs. I’ve worked with everything from hyperactive puppies to blind senior dogs, and I know how to read an animal and meet them exactly where they are. I’m also experienced with oral medication administration, so pets with health needs are always in safe hands. Here’s what going above and beyond actually looks like in practice: when I cared for a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd with intense energy, I researched, purchased, and gifted his family a highly rated dog whistle at no charge — because I genuinely wanted to help beyond my time with him (and it worked extremely well!). When one of my clients came home on their dog’s birthday, I had pupcakes for their 2 labs and cupcakes for the parents. For another client I stopped by Starbucks on my way and brought 2 pupachinos, something small, but they loved it. I’ve even bought little outfits 😆. These aren’t extras to me. This is just how I care. Every stay includes: — Frequent photo AND video updates (professional quality) — Cognitive enrichment and training activities — Walks, outdoor play, and stimulation tailored to your pet — A fenced yard, a smoke-free home, and a cozy space to feel at ease — A sitter who responds in under 30 minutes and keeps you in the loop the whole time House sitting is my most-requested service, and I take pride in treating your home with the same respect I give your pet. You’ll come back to a happy animal and a home just as you left it. Please share any special needs, dietary preferences, quirks, or routines when you reach out — the more I know, the better I can love them and create a personalized experience for them. My schedule is currently wide open, allowing me to accommodate your needs at any time! With plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, I can ensure they receive all the love, care, and attention they deserve! Your pet will feel right at home with me! A safe, cozy space, plenty of outdoor fun, and lots of love are always guaranteed. I just ask that you provide everything your animal will need and any specific information that might be helpful when caring for your babies such as medications, potty trained, anxious, etc.
“Jennifer did an amazing job taking care of my pug, Winston! She was attentive, communicative, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. I really appreciated the updates and photos. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! 😁😁😁”

About: Hi, I’m Sri! As a dog mom, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. I know the little things that make dogs feel safe and happy — from keeping their routine consistent to giving them plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. I’m patient with shy pups, gentle with seniors, and full of energy for playful ones. Whether it’s a quick drop‑in or an overnight stay, I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. As a dog mom, I’m used to planning my day around walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddle breaks. I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and love they need, whether it’s a quick potty break, a long walk, or just sitting together for comfort. Caring for animals isn’t something I have to fit in — it’s part of my normal routine, and I truly enjoy it. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. They have a safe, comfortable space to relax, fresh water at all times, and a routine that matches what they’re used to. I make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime & nap time throughout the day. I keep a close eye on their behavior and needs, and I’m always ready to adjust to make them feel happy and secure. We live in a house with a huge backyard where the dogs can play.
About: I will take care of your fur babies like they are my own children. I’ve taken care of Dogs/cat since I was 11. I’m a country girl but also a girl that doesn’t play about my pets. I also take their opinion on others pretty seriously if they are extremely uncomfortable. Usually when my pets felt uncomfortable around someone that they’ve known for a while, I would keep them close to me or away from that person. Ive had 4 dogs and 1 cat which I had her when she was a kitten. I love animals like they are my child. I’m more of a dog lover than cat but the way I spoil my pets if it’s with me I love them equally but I’m team dog if I had to pick one. I’m good with all size dogs. I’m a small petite woman so for some reason bigger dogs are like big babies but protect me and the small dogs are the boss. I also have experience bathing and dressing them up. I love to get my pets cute. I sometimes cook gourmet pet meals like rice and plain unseasoned meat that dogs/ cats can eat (it’s very limited due to most foods being dangerous for them) or something to make them feel special. Call it boujee but my pets are my friends they are going to get spoiled. I have toys as well as a back balcony. I live at an apartment that has a dog wash station as well as a dog park. I love to walk any chance I get so we will be going on lots of walks at my apartment which has a neighborhood and parks next to it. Availability is currently open due to me being in college. But picking up or dog sitting in your home is limited because I do work from Home 8-5 m-f. Please provide 2 day advance notice when booking. I have a set schedule for work however if I know in advance I can plan in advance. For all bookings I will be home I prefer at least a few days’ notice to: Adjust my schedule to properly care for your pets Prep for your pet’s arrival Gather information about your pet and schedule a meet/greet Booking Requirements Meet-and-greet required beforehand to ensure a good fit. We can also FaceTime or do a phone call where I can see your pet. I am very reasonable we just have to discuss it. Home Environment & Lifestyle No guests allowed in the home. only me and my husband present (rare family visits) Occasionally go out for food, the park, outdoor workouts, or short drives (pets may join for car rides if appropriate) Safety & Care Safety is a top priority we are very vigilant and protective You can trust that your pet will be in a secure and attentive environment

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your McKinney commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,480 sitters in McKinney, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
