About: I am recently retired and have sold my house. I house/pet sit full time locally and internationally. I have owned and fostered both dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. About: Ohana means family! We care for your fur baby like our own Ohana. We traveled often when we lived in Hawaii so we didn’t have any pets of our own but we often pet sit a cute chihuahua when her mommy had to work off island or over night. We had her at least 2 weeks a month overnight for a year. She was the joy of our lives. She got lots of love and attention from myself and my three kids. She had free run of the livingroom and enclosed porch. She went for 20 minute walks 2x’s per day, weather permitting, and ate 2 meals a day with snacks in between. She was always happy to stay with us. We really miss having a dog around so by us helping you give your pet love and attention, it helps to fill the little void in our hearts. Your pet may be home alone for up to 4 hours (I can come home at lunch to let them go potty) The complex I am in has a small dog park so that your pup can have some off leash fun. About: From the time that my very first word as an infant was "dog," I have loved animals and spent time and effort actively seeking to be around them. My family was allergic when I was growing up, so I began pet-sitting for other families in our neighborhood from around the 1st grade. I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, rodents, birds, and reptiles. In 2nd grade, I was finally allowed to get a pet mouse and I trained her to ride around the house on my shoulder like a parrot. =D After my cousin's family got a poodle and told my parents about hypoallergenic dogs, we got a Bichon puppy my 8th grade year who I helped raise along with my sister. When I went away to college, I joined a student organization for training guide dogs and desperately wanted to become a puppy-raiser, but unfortunately couldn't commit (due to my dorm rules and no guarantee that they could assign me a Labradoodle for going home on holidays), so instead I just went through their orientation program including learning how to clicker train puppies at the local animal shelter. Now I’m living in downtown mckinney with my collie Lincoln and 3 cats, and available for dog walking!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
