“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”

I grew up on a small farm with dogs and cats as well as horses, cows, chickens and rabbits, so I've cared for animals all my life! As I currently own a dog and a cat myself (or do they own me?) About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, so it's safe to say pets have been part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. Over the years I've taken care of up to 4 dogs at once, which taught me how to manage different personalities, energy levels, and needs all at the same time, from feeding schedules to playtime to just making sure everyone gets along. About: Ohana means family! We care for your fur baby like our own Ohana. We traveled often when we lived in Hawaii so we didn’t have any pets of our own but we often pet sit a cute chihuahua when her mommy had to work off island or over night. We had her at least 2 weeks a month overnight for a year. She was the joy of our lives. She got lots of love and attention from myself and my three kids. She had free run of the livingroom and enclosed porch. She went for 20 minute walks 2x’s per day, weather permitting, and ate 2 meals a day with snacks in between. About: From the time that my very first word as an infant was "dog," I have loved animals and spent time and effort actively seeking to be around them. My family was allergic when I was growing up, so I began pet-sitting for other families in our neighborhood from around the 1st grade. I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, rodents, birds, and reptiles. In 2nd grade, I was finally allowed to get a pet mouse and I trained her to ride around the house on my shoulder like a parrot. =D After my cousin's family got a poodle and told my parents about hypoallergenic dogs, we got a Bichon puppy my 8th grade year who I helped raise along with my sister. When I went away to college, I joined a student organization for training guide dogs and desperately wanted to become a puppy-raiser, but unfortunately couldn't commit (due to my dorm rules and no guarantee that they could assign me a Labradoodle for going home on holidays), so instead I just went through their orientation program including learning how to clicker train puppies at the local animal shelter. Now I’m living in downtown mckinney with my collie Lincoln and 3 cats, and available for dog walking!

About: Hi, I am Molly! I have owned several dogs throughout my life, and currently own an adorable Pit-bull and Boxer mix. I also have experience with cats because my roommate currently has too and I help her with caring for them. I have been pet sitting and walking dogs for years. “This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
