I’m completely comfortable with medications, special feeding schedules, dietary needs, or any specific instructions you leave, following care protocols is genuinely second nature to me. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

About: I am a military spouse and mother of three who previously worked in retail. I got a certification for Veterinary assistant a few years ago. Now I'm hoping to continue my education and become a certified pet nutritionist. In between time I am currently just looking forward to working with and caring for all different pets. I've always loved animals and cared for many different pets growing up. My availability at this time is open due to me being a full-time stay a home parent now. Have skills working with older dogs, large dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, and birds. I'm also willing to work with pets with special needs only if willing to give specific instructions on their needs. My home is a pet-friendly (and pet filled) environment with a large fenced yard for outdoor play, though most of our time with Mittens is spent indoors surrounded by toys and cozy spots to relax. I have three resident pets — Jonah, a Golden Retriever, Jessie, a Golden Pyrenees, and Mittens, a tuxedo cat — all of whom love playtime and are great company.

About: Fur babies > kids. My animals are the center of my world, life without fur babies in a home is not life. I love baby sitting doggos and cats, I’ve welcomed so many dogs through our home over the years. On the couch or under the covers in bed, cuddles are all around. My 12ish year old rescue lab loves when there is company around. I also have a kitten who identifies as a dog and plays catch, she loves to play with doggos (& cats) of all sizes! All animals are invited here, always. My entire world revolves around caring for fur babies and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am home or available 95% of the day, currently not working any full time jobs so I am available to care any time! Love & kindness is #1 with our fur babies. I do not hit or yell and believe in positive reinforcement whenever possible. My yard is fenced in with morning sun and shaded afternoon it is purrfect for play time! (& even our kitty comes out to play sometimes, with supervision of course). There are some kids that live nearby in our cul de sac who enjoy playing with the animals too! My home is 1 level ranch home with no stairs (only one step to get in front door). Older doggos enjoy time here on our comfy rugs and heated dog beds looking over the forest views. The neighborhood also has 10 miles of trails for the energetic doggos that need time ‘splorin or running around. Located 7 minutes from CLT airport, easy for your travels and drop offs/pick ups etc.
