“Alyssa is simply one in a million! She took care all four of my girls (2 dogs, one cat and a macaw). She took the dogs for long walks, talked with them, fed them and spoiled them with attention and love. My shy cat loves Alyssa as well and my grumpy macaw. I think my girls were rather disappointed to have me back. We are loyal customers of her for sure, she is going to be our go-to person for pet care. Alyssa gave detailed daily reports on the girls, what they were like, what she did with them and updated us with daily pictures, our girls had big smiles on their faces every day we were away. Thank you Alyssa!”

“Sienna is the best. She is always on-time and even went out of her way to suggest a better time of day to align with better weather so my dog River would be more comfortable. River looks forward to seeing her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

I have open weekend availability. I will play with your fur babies and keep them entertained while you are away. I will send pictures of our time together. I am comfortable giving oral medications if that is needed. I have cared for dogs with anxiety before.

Please message me if you have any questions or concerns. I care for your pets by ensuring every walk is a structured, personalized adventure tailored to your pet's breed and needs. For example, high-energy breeds may prefer a jog to a local park, while calmer breeds may prefer a small trot around the block. About: Born and raised around fur babies of all kinds! I work with rescues, vets, fellow animal lovers, and will give your canine or feline companion(s) all the fun and love they can ask for while in my care. I currently attend class hybridly but am available 24/7 majority of the time for your fur babies wishes and needs. I also am able to change my schedule depending on when their care is needed, aside from a 5-6 hour window on M/T in the late morning/early afternoon. I will follow your instructions for your pet’s wishes and needs. I will happily send you videos or pictures for updates while you are away should you request it.
About: Cats are more self sufficient but can pop in to feed if needed and change litter. I did this while neighbors were away on vacation. Available mostly weekends but can do some week day evenings. Also because summer in Texas (esp August!) is HOT. Early mornings are good as well. In home, can go to feed but I would like to walk more so the dogs get enough exercise and don’t feel neglected. It’s great for their health too!
About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, and caring for them is truly a passion rather than just a service I provide. I have extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, as well as birds, goats, chickens, pigs, and some horses. I’m comfortable with daily care routines, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing patient, attentive support—especially for senior animals or those needing extra care. I believe animals communicate in their own way, and I take the time to understand their needs, personalities, and comfort levels so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s energetic playtime, quiet companionship, or farm-style care, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am looking to make this my full time job/ passion. I love animals and believe they are part of our families and deserve to live their best lives while they are with us. I have a 8 foot fenced yard, our dogs are up to date on all vaccines and believe all animals should be. I believe when walking dogs they should always be on a leash, for their safety and the walkers.
