Dog Walking Merit

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

About: I am a military spouse and mother of three who previously worked in retail. I got a certification for Veterinary assistant a few years ago. Now I'm hoping to continue my education and become a certified pet nutritionist. In between time I am currently just looking forward to working with and caring for all different pets. I've always loved animals and cared for many different pets growing up. My availability at this time is open due to me being a full-time stay a home parent now. Have skills working with older dogs, large dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, and birds. I'm also willing to work with pets with special needs only if willing to give specific instructions on their needs. I will care for your pet like he/she is my own. I am currently full time at home unless I have others to drop in on throughout the day. The weekends I am fully available to care for pets. I have a fully fenced on yard, baby gates located at the bottom of the stairs and to the laundry room which are the main two places our cat likes to be.

About: I grew up with and taking care of big dogs. I’ve taken care of tree litters of dogs over the years and have been dogsitting for the past two years. I’m currently taking a couple summer courses and in between trips before college starts back up, so I have plenty of time to check on and take care of your pets! I love spending time and playing with dogs and cats! I can easily adjust to you and your pets schedules. I can stop in 3-4 times a day to take care and play with them.

About: Heyy! My name is Alexandria, I go by Andi!! I worked as a veterinary assistant for over 2 years and have a lot of experience with all different animals! I grew up with a lot of animals on a farm so i have a lot of experiences with animals! I have a genuine love for all animals and enjoy spending my time with them! I can administer oral medications as well as injections. I have a lot of experience with all ages of animals, puppies/kittens, “teenagers”, adult, and seniors! I have given CPR many times at my old vet clinic job. I have a 4 year old rat terrier male dog of my own, he is my child! I would want only the best of care for him and the safety and protection to be 1,000%! So that is what I strive to provide for you!! Hello!! I have a day time job and am available after 8ish pm! Aswell as open availability on the weekends! I would more than enjoy to build some clientele of animals to help take care of / walk on the weekends! I have one dog! I will not be boarding in my home. My dog is literally my “child” i would treat yours as the same!

About: I hqve always pet sit for a long time now off of social mediq only for locals, i have experience dog walking, doing drop in visits, i can do it all working around my availability! I am currently in nursing school and work around my school schedule. I am open for the most part even though my schedule changed a lot. I love pets, i treat them as my own since I know they are already missing their owners while they are away. I follow instructions as provided and give them lots of love!

About: I've had dogs in my life since my infancy and love dogs. I don't have a favorite breed since I think all dogs are special in their own right but I'm a big fan of chihuahuas and bulldogs. I am a freelance artist so I have plenty of time to devote to animal care. I am able to bring my setup for overnight stays so my schedule won't be impacted during pet care. I have a shared two bedroom apartment that is surrounded by plenty of grassy walking areas and a fenced in dog park, so if your pets stay with me, we'll have lots to do. I also don't mind traveling to or staying overnight at a client's house as I have my own vehicle and no other outside obligations.

About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have been dog sitting when I could. I retired from teaching after 29 years so now I have more time available to take care of more dogs. I am retired so I am home most days. We have a large fenced yard so dogs are safe. Your pup will get lots of one on one time and snuggles. I have a fenced clean yard. My dogs are very friendly but also have areas for quiet time if that is needed. If you prefer to stay at your house that is fine too. Retired teacher so my days are pretty open.

About: I have two fur babies myself and have been caring for them for about four years coming on five. I’ve trained them since 8 weeks old to my oldest dog who is four now and spoiled as ever. Even before my two dogs I’ve always been around animals since the age of six and have always been very curious about dogs and have loved them ever since. Pet care is a huge essential part in a pets life. Although I am a college student my classes are not all in person I have much time on my hands (more than I know what to do with). Although I love my own pets I would like to provide my services to others. I have two fur babies myself I understand the amount of stress it can bring when leaving your pet with a stranger. When visiting your pet while you are away I will make sure the visits are not just short interaction with your baby but provide play and know that they are loved while you are away, or even if you need to have them walked I'm more than glad to do what is required.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, and caring for them is truly a passion rather than just a service I provide. I have extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, as well as birds, goats, chickens, pigs, and some horses. I’m comfortable with daily care routines, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing patient, attentive support—especially for senior animals or those needing extra care. I believe animals communicate in their own way, and I take the time to understand their needs, personalities, and comfort levels so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I love animals and believe they are part of our families and deserve to live their best lives while they are with us. I have a 8 foot fenced yard, our dogs are up to date on all vaccines and believe all animals should be. I believe when walking dogs they should always be on a leash, for their safety and the walkers.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs for many years taking care of them, playing with them, taking them to the vet. I haven’t met many pets that don’t take a liking to me. I just moved a good distance so my schedule is pretty flexible for a while. I should have plenty of time for your tail wagging friends. I’ve found that many pets are different from each other and require different needs. I’ll gladly take any info or tips specific to your pet to ensure they get the care they need.

About: Small-town stay-at-home mom with a lifelong love for animals. I grew up caring for pets and currently we have 2 rescue pit bulls and 2 rescue cats. I’ve also fostered animals, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My kids are in school from 8–3, so after I care for my own animals in the morning, I’m available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, and visits. I already care for a full household of pets, so adding in Rover visits fits in smoothly with my schedule and daily animal care routine. In my home, our pets are treated like family and live indoors with us. They have access to a fenced yard and go outside as they please, along with regular walks and plenty of outdoor playtime when the weather is nice. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they are fed on schedule, given fresh water, walked or let out as needed, and receive plenty of attention, play, and affection while you’re away.

About: We enjoy being the first choice for most all of our family and friends when it comes to their pets needs! We like to spend extra time with the animals while their pawrents are away and even enjoy bringing some special homemade treats if allowed! We are a firefighter and homeschool family, so our schedule is extremely flexible. We enjoy spending time with any and all animals. I also have a passion for baking, so bringing an extra homemade treat is allowed is something special too! We have one lab girl who is our four legged princess. As the only other girl in a house of boys, she is 100% spoiled rotten and we wouldn't have it any other way.

About: I've owned dogs growing up, as well as watched pets(mainly dogs, cats, and snakes) for family and neighbors for about 10 years now! I have walked, fed, bathed, as well as given different medications to pets, and am comfortable with any breed. I am a fresh college graduate, looking for a good summer time gig! Aside from pet sitting, I also do uber eats/doordash. While pet sitting, I do not have to do deliveries if you would prefer! If needed, I can crate your pets. I am able to walk, pick up, and transport pets as needed. I personally have a lot of energy, so I will happily run around with your pets to get the energy out!
