Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I’m home most of the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout your pet’s stay. My day is already structured around caring for my own dogs, so adding another pet means they’ll be included in a routine of regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and rest. Pets are rarely left alone and are part of a calm, home-centered environment. I’m able to give frequent updates, adjust to your pet’s needs, and provide plenty of interaction throughout the day. Because I’m home, I can also accommodate pets who may need a little extra attention, consistency, or companionship. Your pet will be cared for as part of my daily life, not just scheduled in.

I have two medium-sized, friendly doodles and a one-year-old child, so it’s very important that any dog in my care is comfortable around other dogs and gentle with young children. Please let me know how your dog typically interacts with both. I also ask that you share any important details such as medical needs, medications, anxiety, or behaviors like reactivity, guarding, or escape tendencies. Knowing your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality helps me keep their stay smooth and stress-free. My preference is for well-socialized, friendly dogs that can relax in a home environment and do well with both other dogs and a toddler. Being open and honest ensures a safe, happy experience for your pet and my family.

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable. We start the morning with a potty break, breakfast, and some easygoing playtime to ease into the day. During the day, I like to mix in walks, play sessions, and lots of attention. Whether your dog loves to play fetch, explore outside, or just follow me around and hang out, I make sure they’re getting both physical activity and companionship. There’s also plenty of downtime for naps and relaxing so they don’t feel overstimulated — just a calm, homey environment where they can settle in. In the evening, we wind down with more play or a walk, dinner, and a cozy, relaxed routine before bedtime. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re on a little vacation while you’re away.

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have had them as part of my life since childhood. Over the years I’ve cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so I’m very comfortable around all kinds of dogs. I also spent several years working at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning kennels, and making sure each dog felt safe, comfortable, and loved while they waited for their forever homes. That experience taught me how to read dog behavior, stay calm in different situations, and give every dog the patience and attention they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, a long walk, or just some extra cuddles and company, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy and well cared for. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.
