“Princella and team did a great job! They reliably stepped up last minute when my usual walker had an emergency, and they were able to do every visit with no problems. Thank you so much, will definitely be using again!”

“London was great!! She came over on the dot, walked our energetic girl, fed her and played with her. My dog seems pretty content and she loved London the second she met her! Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Our family loves all dogs! We truly care for your animals as if they were our own. I have experience taking care of and training a high energy puppy. I work from home so our family is always home to take care of your animal and give them the attention they need and deserve. I have a high fenced yard. Our dog, Indie, plus kids love playing with all dogs. Our kids love cuddling and treating your dog like their own.
“I can’t recommend our dog walker enough! Adrian consistently went above and beyond every single visit. Not only was he always on time, but he also sent a text before arriving. What really stands out is the level of care he provides. He took extra time to clean our dog’s paws after walks, which is something we truly appreciate, especially on muddy or rainy days. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and treats them like his own.”

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, etc. my entire life, I’d like to say that I have my whole life’s worth of experience with pets, being that I have had them since before I could walk:)) I’m currently going to community college part-time, usually based in the mornings but can change. Other than school I am always free to do the job!! I will give your pets plenty of love and cuddles while also adapting to their daily needs and activities. I can even brush your dogs’ teeth if you’d like.

About: I grew up with dogs. Not just in my household, but in my cousins’ and grandparents’. I learned from a young age how to take care of dogs. These past 4 years especially, I have started pet sitting for friends and family alike. I can walk, bathe, and play with dogs. I also know how to administer medication, if needed. I am a big lover of animals. Any animal under my care is automatically going to be treated with the utmost care. I am currently on summer break from my college classes. The only time I would not be able to pet sit or walk would be Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:30. I have a fenced in backyard. I do have a pool, but I will never leave your pet unattended in the backyard. I have a cat, but she can easily go into the main bedroom comfortably.
About: I've always grown up around dogs and taking care of strays. The ones who we didn't keep, we made sure they got to go to a better home! I know how important it is that they are well fed, have enough playtime and most importantly, feel loved! I work part time retail so my work hours can be all over the place. I do my best to balance work and taking care of your beloved pets! I make sure my cats have their favorite treats on hand, plenty of wet food, clean litter boxes, heating pads on, plenty of toys (and boxes)! I also like to move things around for more enrichment and they love it!

About: Hi! I'm Kay - a natural animal lover with real experience that goes way beyond basic pet sitting. I've cared for a whole courtyard full of cats and dogs, raised my own pup Lani from a baby (and my current dog), and even looked after bunnies, turtles, and chinchillas. Animals have always been a part of my life, and I treat every pet like family. What sets me apart? I'm intuitive, gentle, and adaptable to each animal's vibe. From cuddles to chaos-I've got it covered! I'm a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, so I'm at home the majority of the day-perfect for giving pets the attention , love, and consistency they need. My toddler is already used to being around animals, behaves well around them, and I always make sure pets have a calm, safe space to relax or be snuggled. Since I'm also building my small business from home, I plan my work around pets I care for. Whether it's daily walks, play breaks, feeding times, or just being there for companionship, your pet won't be left alone or ignored. They become part of our little daily rhythm here! Whether I'm walking your dog, watching your home, or caring for your pets in either space, I take safety and trust serioiusly. I follow your exact care instructions, maintain routines, and stay alert to your pet's body language and needs. I always double check gates, doors, and leashes-no risks, no shortcuts. When I'm house sitting I treat your home with respect and care-keeping it clean, secure, and peaceful for your pets. If I'm walking your pup, I avoid unsafe areas, steer clear of other dogs unless you've approved it, and make the walk enjoyable, not rushed. Your pets are safe, your home is respected, and you'll always stay updated!

“Jackson (my cocker spaniel) is VERY suspicious of new people. It takes him a long time before he is comfortable. I let Lawence know this upfront and he assured me that it would be fine. Before Jackson started his walk schedule, Lawrence met up with Jackson and myself to introduce himself. Jackson was still quite suspicious of this new person but was not hostile or mean. Lawrence started walking Jackson and at first, Jackson was hesitant to go walking with this stranger. After about 2 weeks, Jackson knows Lawrence, even knows his car when he pulls up and wags his stub in anticipation of his walk. I appreciate that Lawrence took it slow and let Jackson define the terms of their relationship....LOL.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
