Smokey can be very nervous and anxious in new situations, and he initially refused to eat, but Alexus was patient, caring, and determined to help him feel comfortable. She showed him so much love and attention, and before long he was settling in and doing much better. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates, photos, and videos she sent. They gave me tremendous peace of mind and reassured me that Smokey was safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. It was clear from every update that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Honestly, Smokey had a better experience with Alexus than he has ever had at a traditional boarding facility. In fact, when we came home, his greeting was surprisingly underwhelming because he had been having such a great time! I highly recommend Alexus to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future. About: I have owned a cat for the last 14 years. I know all the ins and outs of cat care. Cats are very specific creatures, and need to be treated as such. They can be sassy, yes, but also they are very loving animals. I am wonderful with a poop scooper (and also a soapy rag!). I have experience giving cats medication from my own cat. I know how gentle and careful you have to be with a cat!

About: My favorite way to spend my day is going on long walk with my dog Otis and having a lazy day with my cat Mable afterwards. I would love to be able to take care of your pets while you are at work or out of town! I work full time remotely and I am a mom! I'm always home so I can easily check in on your pets during my work day. I'm currently working full-time, fully remote. I already have the time to go on daily walks with my dog. I am available to go for walks in the morning, lunchtime, and in the evenings. I would love to have your dog join my daily walks!! Also, I am available in the morning and evenings to do drop-ins. In the mornings, I am available 7:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. In the evening, I am available from 5-8 p.m. Unfortunately, I do not offer boarding at my home at this time. “Jackson (my cocker spaniel) is VERY suspicious of new people. It takes him a long time before he is comfortable. I let Lawence know this upfront and he assured me that it would be fine. Before Jackson started his walk schedule, Lawrence met up with Jackson and myself to introduce himself. Jackson was still quite suspicious of this new person but was not hostile or mean. Lawrence started walking Jackson and at first, Jackson was hesitant to go walking with this stranger. After about 2 weeks, Jackson knows Lawrence, even knows his car when he pulls up and wags his stub in anticipation of his walk. We go on multiple walks (as long as needed!), enjoy playtime in my yard, take breaks for cuddles and rest, and stick to any feeding or medication schedules you provide. I also offer overnight care and keep you updated with regular check-ins, photos, and messages so you always know how your dog is doing. Your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priority every day! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort come first. My home is dog-friendly with a secure yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. I maintain a clean, calm environment with plenty of space for rest, play, and cuddles. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own. I stick to your pet’s routine, ensure they feel comfortable in their space, and provide plenty of one-on-one attention. I closely monitor pets at all times and never leave them unsupervised in unfamiliar situations. I also keep in touch with regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I have 10 years of experience dog walking and 8 years of experience pet sitting. My experience also includes exotic pets like snakes, lizards, rodents, bunnies, and frogs. I am currently a teacher off for the summer so I have plenty of time to help you with your fur baby! I am also training for my first half-marathon so I would love to take your active pup on a walk or jog. I would need about an hour or so a day away to run errands for my mom but other than that I am totally dedicated to your pets! I know a pets comfort and routine is so important to them so I will stick to whatever instructions you leave for their care. With new clients I like to schedule a meet and greet before accepting a request.
