About: My daughter and I have cared for animals for many years and truly love what we do. For the past two years, we’ve volunteered with the Richardson Animal Shelter, helping care for dogs with different personalities and needs. We fostered a Pit Bull Terrier mix and helped her find a loving forever home, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. We also rehabilitated a shelter dog who was underweight and anti-social due to past trauma, helping her become healthy and trusting again. At home, we have a sweet 2-year-old Maltipoo who is treated like family. We’re experienced with basic dog training, building routines, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. We’ve also provided overnight and extended puppy care for my daughter’s teacher on several occasions. In our home, pets are treated like family in a clean, safe, and low-stress environment where they have space to relax, play, and feel secure. We maintain a consistent routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and rest so pets feel stable and comfortable. Because we have experience volunteering with the Richardson Animal Shelter and fostering/rescuing dogs with different temperaments, we are especially mindful of anxious, shy, or high-needs pets and adjust our approach to help them feel safe. We always prioritize safety, secure handling on walks, and careful supervision during all interactions. “Jackson (my cocker spaniel) is VERY suspicious of new people. It takes him a long time before he is comfortable. I let Lawence know this upfront and he assured me that it would be fine. Before Jackson started his walk schedule, Lawrence met up with Jackson and myself to introduce himself. Jackson was still quite suspicious of this new person but was not hostile or mean. Lawrence started walking Jackson and at first, Jackson was hesitant to go walking with this stranger. After about 2 weeks, Jackson knows Lawrence, even knows his car when he pulls up and wags his stub in anticipation of his walk. I appreciate that Lawrence took it slow and let Jackson define the terms of their relationship....LOL.”

About: I'm an elementary teacher that would love to come help out with your pets. I have had dogs, cats, and small pets my whole life. I am happy to help with potty breaks, walks, playtime, snuggles, cage changes, and vacations! I currently mom to two of the cutest Guinea Pigs in the whole world. About: I am an at home baker with two kids. I have previously boarded animals in an apartment but now I have a house with more room! I have owned all types of pets from frogs to guinea pigs to cats and dogs. I will treat your pet as I do my own. I'm an at home baker so I have plenty of time to watch your pets. Only occasionally will I leave to run errands or deliver an order or take the kids out for a bit. I have a house with a wood fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. I also have two pets an aquatic turtle and a rabbit that can easily be put in a cage and in another room if need be.
