I have a work from home job so I am able to be flexible with hours and times! I miss my doggies back home so this will be of benefit to both of us! I love to spend time outside and enjoy longer walks if your pup likes to explore. I’m also a snuggler so your fur baby will get tons of cuddles!

When visiting your home I like to make sure the place is kept in the same condition or better than when you left it! I always try to ensure that your fur baby is comfortable with their toys, clean water, and blankets or their bed. I also try to make sure nothing might be mistakenly left out or left on so don’t be surprised if you get a question about why a stove light is on, just making sure the house is safe if I’m not there.

I’m very open and patient with dogs of all behaviors but prefer that dogs with anxiety are also crated trained for brief periods that they may be alone. I don’t do well with drool but always carry some wet wipes incase!

I love walks almost as much as the doggies do so for high energy dogs lots of walk time is promised (along with some photos)

I’ve been around pets since I can remember. I love all types of cats and dogs and have been well at getting anxious animals to feel comfortable around me. Takes time and patience which I have both to offer!

Makayla is THE BEST! My dog, Remi, is a fearful, anxious girl when she meets new people. I’m usually nervous about leaving her, especially overnight… but not when Makayla is there. When Remi met Makayla, she calmed down in record speed. Makayla was super patient and understanding. She showered Remi with so much love and attention, and embraced Remi’s goofy, puppy-like personality. Makayla has stayed with Remi both overnight and for drop ins. She sends updates and pictures without needing to be asked. She also is very mindful and respectful of my home. Outside of being a wonderful dog sitter, Makayla is incredibly intelligent, kind, and responsible. 10/10, highly recommend.
