“Kellyn was amazing with our dog Brandy. She is an older dog and a little stubborn in the heat, but Kellyn went above and beyond to get her out for a potty break. She gives great updates and photos so you feel up to date on the entire visit. We are thankful to have found her here in Dallas!”

About: I grew up with a dog always in the household. My family once bred three litters of Beagle puppies. I currently have a 13 year old Yorkie who never leaves my side and has my highest standard of care and love - 24/7/365. People in my circle call me a dog whisperer, for what it’s worth. I’m THE guy that watches everyone’s dog while the owners are at work, out of town, or unavailable at any notice. Your dog will be treated to the best dog-sitting service in North Texas, guaranteed. They won’t even notice that you’re gone! I work from home full-time, so I will be able to provide immediate duties such as feeding, walking, and playing, as well as my upmost attention and care. I have a large fenced-in backyard along with a big pool and plenty of space to roam around. Your dog will think he or she is in Cancun on vacation. There is a doggie door that can be accessed by small to medium dogs. My Yorkie uses this door to come in and out as he wishes. The doggie door can be locked at any time depending on your preference, or if you’re possibly concerned about the pool. I will be able to crate your dog at any time if requested. I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood that has plenty of sidewalk if you request that I take your dog on walks.
“Danielle was great. Timely updates and pics of my dog, and gave a fun summary of their walk and hang out. She’s a great resource to have downtown, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks Danielle!”

“Reid was super nice! And gave Allie lots of love! He sent photos of not just her, but my cat as well. Even though he wasn't in the care instructions, Reid took the time to give them both attention during every drop in! He gave the best compliments about my dog and her training/behavior! Easily my dogs new fav uncle :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dallas
Our little man knows what it means when Haley walks in the door! From the pics she sent on their walks, I could see him strutting and enjoying showing her that he’s King of the Neighborhood! Haley was super responsive and took such great care of him while I was away. She followed the instructions I left and kept us updated. This was my first Rover experience and we will definitely rebook with Haley!

- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
