About: I've had a number of animals since the age of 4. From birds, and fish to Cats, dogs, and rabbits! I have always had a cat or dog in my home and I LOVE ANIMALS!!! I have house sat & boarded pets for 8 years now for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat them like my own and ensure that they're fed, get walked, lots of rubs, and everything I can to keep their usual routine! I'm currently not working and want to do something I love to stay busy. I have an open schedule to handle all your pets needs. I stay in a very spacious 3 bedroom home with yard space where they have plenty of room to roam. There are also parks near to release their energy. I currently have an open schedule. I always update my schedule to reflect any changes. I am very flexible at the moment. Once I have a pet job in place I try to focus on the pet/pets. It honestly depends on the animal. Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.

About: I have experience caring for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and providing companionship for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I am dependable, responsible, and make sure every dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during parts of the week, so my availability can vary. Feel free to send me a message to discuss a time that works best for both of us. When I am off work, I am happy to provide drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and care for your dog. I strive to be flexible and communicate clearly to make sure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines, and special needs. I make sure dogs are supervised, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I also provide updates and maintain open communication so you can feel confident knowing your dog is in good hands.
About: My sister runs kennels of all types of animals, i’ve gained so many experiences from her to bring proper care to your (fur) children ! i currently work part time as a barista, and i love animals so much so why not fit them into all of my free time! i have a big fenced yard that we keep clean, i have big pet beds and 3 different watering stations at my house. I am very good at reading animal language and have a certain knack for taking care of animals!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own two dogs, which has given me a strong understanding of daily routines, exercise needs, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. Beyond my own pets, I’ve also helped families by dog sitting for both short and extended periods, caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic care, going on walks, and making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them the attention, patience, and care they deserve. I am a sourdough home baker so I work from home and have plenty of time to schedule what works best for your babies. I’m flexible with my schedule and can usually accommodate any requested time. My puppies have their own little space with toys, blankets, and their pillows. I have a Furbo camera to check on them and get updates on their day if I’m out of town. I’m mindful of your home, keeping everything clean, secure, and just as you left it, so you can relax knowing both your pet and space are in good hands.
About: Fur babies are family! They need love and patience. Growing up I had a Pekingese for 13 years and then a poodle mix for 12 years. So I learned at an early age the responsibility of caring for the family pet. My first adult pet was a mini lob rabbit which I had for 10 years. It had some medical issues in which required regular care from the local vet. A few years ago I was introduced to Great Danes and immediately fell in love! Zoe, my twelve year old Dane lived her best life. She went to parks, family gatherings, car rides, camping. She passed away last year at the age of 12 1/2. I am not ready for another pet just yet and now that I have some free time I would love to give others the sense of security by playing, loving and caring for their pet. I'm recently retired and have a flexible schedule. With that flexibility I have the opportunity to check on your pets or provide over night care with short notices. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pet to lay in the sun, run, stretch and play! For over night stays a crate might be beneficial depending on your pets behavior and comfort. For day to day visits I will respect your property and pet and follow your guidelines to ensure our pet friendly visit is successful.
About: As a dog mom myself, I know how it is when you’re wanting to trust someone! Have no fear! I’ll be your fur baby favorite homegirl! I work full time (for myself) Monday-Thursday. My availability would be starting sometimes Thursday evening or Fridays-Sundays. However I’m open to being as flexible as needed! While I’m home we tend to chill or play with toys! When it’s nap time we nap in crates and go outside to play after!

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — I grew up caring for pets alongside family and have hands-on experience caring for multiple dogs at once. I pride myself on being reliable and consistent, especially when it comes to feeding schedules and following each pet owner's specific instructions to the letter. Every pet has their own routine and personality, and I make it a priority to honor that. What truly sets me apart is that I treat every pet like my own. I'm attentive, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals — it's not just a job for me, it's something I care deeply about. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I'm currently taking online classes over the summer, which means I'm home almost all of the time — so pets in my care are never left alone for long. My schedule is flexible and low-key, which means I can give dogs the attention, playtime, and consistency they deserve throughout the entire day. On the rare occasion I do step out, it's briefly for family activities or to take the dogs on a walk. Otherwise, I'm home and fully present. I also occasionally help care for young children, so I'm used to being responsible, patient, and attentive to those who depend on me — pets included The safety and comfort of every pet I care for is my top priority. My home is set up perfectly for dogs — we have a fully fenced-in yard, so pups can run, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely without any worry. During their stay, dogs are kept close to me in my room for the majority of the time, so they always have company and I can keep a close eye on them. We do have two resident dogs in the home, but they are both friendly and well socialized — they've welcomed visiting dogs before without any issues, making the transition smooth and stress free for everyone. I always make sure to do a slow, supervised introduction between dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable before giving them free time together. Every pet's boundaries are respected and their safety comes first.
About: Hi! I’m Roxana, and I’d love to care for your pet like they’re part of our family 🤍 Get $20 off your first Rover booking with the link below. https://www.rover.com/sit/roxanr15345 My husband Eric and I share our home with Sophie, our sweet 9-year-old Yorkie, who plays a big role in our pet-loving household. Sophie is an 8 lb rescue we adopted, she came to us anxious and unsure, and through patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s grown into an affectionate, playful, and calm companion. That experience taught us so much about building trust with animals and meeting them where they are. We’ve even taught Sophie fun tricks like sit, shake, high-five, and roll over—proof that with the right approach, every dog can learn and thrive! In addition to caring for Sophie, I’ve had both cats and dogs over the years and have also looked after pets for friends and family. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. Inside, pets are truly part of the family—whether that’s lounging on the couch or winding down before bedtime. We do ask that you bring a kennel or crate so your pet has a familiar, secure space to relax. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! ✨ My schedule is flexible! I work from home 2–3 days a week (and even more during the holidays), which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your pet’s routine. ✨ Safety & Comfort First Your pet’s safety and trust are my top priorities. We have a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, and I always supervise time outside. Sophie is never out front without a harness and leash, and we extend that same level of care to every pet we host.
“Miriam is prompt, professional, and sent adorable videos of our pups! She took great care of them and they seemed to really enjoy her. Would definitely recommend hiring her.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
