About: Hi! I’m Kandace, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets like they’re my own. As a lifelong dog lover and pet owner, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced managing routines, medications, feeding schedules, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to get to know what makes them happiest and most comfortable. Outside of pet care, I work full-time in hospitality, where providing exceptional service and earning people’s trust are at the heart of what I do. You can expect excellent communication, punctuality, and photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time in hospitality, so I’m very organized and intentional with my schedule. I plan my days to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, exercise, and care they deserve. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets. I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I have a large fenced in back yard that allows for plenty of exercise. However, I also enjoy long walks and am available in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on the weekends. I also have a lot of space within my home for pets to roam like they are a part of the family.

About: My wife and I are a military family with a daughter, and we understand that pets are family. With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, we provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for your furry baby while you’re away. We treat every pet as if they were our own and look forward to welcoming them into our home with plenty of love, attention, and care. I work fully remote from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and care throughout the day. Because I am home nearly 24/7, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and affection. Unlike sitters who are away for long work shifts, I am available to monitor your furry baby throughout the day and quickly respond to their needs. My flexible schedule helps ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Your furry baby will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of room to play and relax. We have a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and potty breaks. We also have two friendly dogs of our own: * An 8-year-old female Australian Shepherd who is gentle, well-socialized, and accustomed to being around other dogs. * A 6-month-old Dachshund (wiener dog) who is playful, friendly, and loves making new friends. We understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so we take the time to ensure introductions are done safely and at a pace that helps everyone feel comfortable. Our goal is to create a fun, loving, and stress-free environment where your pet feels right at home and becomes part of the family during their stay.
About: Fur babies are family! They need love and patience. Growing up I had a Pekingese for 13 years and then a poodle mix for 12 years. So I learned at an early age the responsibility of caring for the family pet. My first adult pet was a mini lob rabbit which I had for 10 years. It had some medical issues in which required regular care from the local vet. A few years ago I was introduced to Great Danes and immediately fell in love! Zoe, my twelve year old Dane lived her best life. She went to parks, family gatherings, car rides, camping. She passed away last year at the age of 12 1/2. I am not ready for another pet just yet and now that I have some free time I would love to give others the sense of security by playing, loving and caring for their pet. I'm recently retired and have a flexible schedule. With that flexibility I have the opportunity to check on your pets or provide over night care with short notices. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pet to lay in the sun, run, stretch and play! For over night stays a crate might be beneficial depending on your pets behavior and comfort. For day to day visits I will respect your property and pet and follow your guidelines to ensure our pet friendly visit is successful.
“Jeri did a great job letting out my dog while I worked a longer shift. She updated me throughout the visit and sent pictures of my animals after! She followed all directions well and was very happy to learn all his quirks at the meet and greet.”

“Essence was GREAT with my kitty. She sent me so many photos, videos, and updates every single day. It made my feel better about leaving town and I’m so grateful I chose her to watch my cat while I was gone!”

“Valerie did an awesome job! She cared for my fur babies as if I was there and she said they did a great job! I will definitely be utilizing her services again very soon! Thanks again Valerie!!!”

“Carmen came to visit, play, and snuggle with our Riley girl. She provided lots of pictures and videos during the hour drop in visit. We now use her weekly :)”

About: I've had a number of animals since the age of 4. From birds, and fish to Cats, dogs, and rabbits! I have always had a cat or dog in my home and I LOVE ANIMALS!!! I have house sat & boarded pets for 8 years now for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat them like my own and ensure that they're fed, get walked, lots of rubs, and everything I can to keep their usual routine! I'm currently not working and want to do something I love to stay busy. I have an open schedule to handle all your pets needs. I stay in a very spacious 3 bedroom home with yard space where they have plenty of room to roam. There are also parks near to release their energy. I currently have an open schedule. I always update my schedule to reflect any changes. I am very flexible at the moment. Once I have a pet job in place I try to focus on the pet/pets. It honestly depends on the animal. Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.
“Mariah is great. I needed last minute care and she was able to help. I met her and her family for a meet and greet and they were so good with my babies. I will definitely have her in mind for future care :).”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience caring for my own cat, so I understand the importance of providing individualized care, patience, and attention to each pet’s unique needs. Every animal deserves knowledgeable, compassionate care. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own animals. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and pet sitting is the perfect fit alongside my work as an independent artist. My flexible schedule allows me to provide dependable, attentive care for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I give my own. “McKensi did a great job, taking care of my fur babies while I was away for a couple of days. I would absolutely book her again! She was very communicative, timely and she did a great job sending me photos and updates each visit. If you are considering a pet sitter for your babies and you will be gone for a good amount of days, she is definitely a sitter you can depend on!”

About: Hi! I’m Roxana, and I’d love to care for your pet like they’re part of our family 🤍 Get $20 off your first Rover booking with the link below. https://www.rover.com/sit/roxanr15345 My husband Eric and I share our home with Sophie, our sweet 9-year-old Yorkie, who plays a big role in our pet-loving household. Sophie is an 8 lb rescue we adopted, she came to us anxious and unsure, and through patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s grown into an affectionate, playful, and calm companion. That experience taught us so much about building trust with animals and meeting them where they are. We’ve even taught Sophie fun tricks like sit, shake, high-five, and roll over—proof that with the right approach, every dog can learn and thrive! In addition to caring for Sophie, I’ve had both cats and dogs over the years and have also looked after pets for friends and family. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. Inside, pets are truly part of the family—whether that’s lounging on the couch or winding down before bedtime. We do ask that you bring a kennel or crate so your pet has a familiar, secure space to relax. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! ✨ My schedule is flexible! I work from home 2–3 days a week (and even more during the holidays), which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your pet’s routine. ✨ Safety & Comfort First Your pet’s safety and trust are my top priorities. We have a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, and I always supervise time outside. Sophie is never out front without a harness and leash, and we extend that same level of care to every pet we host.
“Jessica came to care of our 3 kitties twice a day while we were on vacation, and we felt so much better knowing they were well taken care of. Communication was great, and we looked forward to seeing our daily pictures! Thanks again, Jessica!”

“Alma is awesome, she took great care of our chickens and our cat. We would love for her to take care of our pets in the future! Rover service is a very convenient way to communicate with your sitter when traveling.”

About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve cared for a family member’s dogs and cats on several occasions. I’ve helped with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping litter boxes clean, always making sure they felt comfortable and well cared for while their owner was away. I’m responsible, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to providing safe and dependable care. As a college student, I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 AM–2 PM, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Outside of those hours and my part-time job, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets. I plan my days carefully to ensure pets receive consistent care, attention, and timely feedings, so you can feel confident they’re in reliable hands. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they receive timely feedings, fresh water, walks, playtime, and lots of attention while keeping their space clean and tidy. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so my home is a calm environment, and I’m able to accommodate small to medium-sized dogs. My goal is always to provide safe, attentive, and loving care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
