About: Hello! My name is Daisy! I am very kind, down to earth, and I have a hint of dry humor. I use to be a veterinary technician for 4 years and have taken care of dogs/cats in the past and still do when my friends need me. I am able to give medication if needed and also just care for your pets while you are away :) I will make sure they are happy and safe. I also have pets of my own and I do know how special that pet bond is. I do speak English and Spanish if needed. I can pet sit all animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animal) while the owner is away and would prefer to pet sit at the owner’s house as my own pets are a bit reactive and would prefer to keep everyone safe. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks! :) I currently work remotely in the evenings and I’m off weekends. I can care for pets in the morning times and if I’m needed to stay I can as I can work remotely or can stay during the weekend. I make sure that the pet is comfortable with me first - I don’t want to stress the pet or anything so I usually like to meet the pet first. Once that’s been established, if I am to care for them in a clients home I make sure that I communicate how their pet is, what happened that day and any news they might like to hear. Provided picture updates and confirm the pets behavior. If the owner leaves a list of things to do I can make sure to communicate everything has been done. If I need to leave the pet alone and be back I be sure to communicate that as well.

“Liz is truly the most kind, responsible, and caring pet sitter we could have asked for. She took amazing care of our two kitties and two dogs, and gave each of them so much love and attention. One of our dogs is very old and requires medication, and Liz handled everything with such care, patience, and impeccable attention to detail. She let us know how he was feeling every day and was there to comfort him when he needed it. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pets were in such loving and capable hands. We are incredibly thankful for her and can’t recommend her enough. Liz is a gem!”

About: Before moving to Dallas for grad school, I worked in emergency vet med. I was trained to work with an array of pets with different routines and attitudes. I’m currently working part time, but am in grad school to become a therapist. My schedule is immensely flexible especially between work and clients. I am big on body language and following a pet parents routine. I have a good amount of emergency vet knowledge so your pets health and safety are at the top of my priority.

About: I have had dogs ever since I was around 4 years old. I have had different breeds and sizes. I currently have a 6 year old fur baby who I love so much. I understand how much your pets can mean to you, so I will treat your baby like my own. I’m currently working part time so I have time to check in on your fur baby!! I make sure to make time for my baby to have a routine that works for both of us. I will do the same with your fur baby. I have a pretty anxious pup so I have learned many ways to make pets feel at ease, and of course make sure they are safe in their homes. I am always extra careful and will treat your baby like my own.
“Valerie is not only professional but very responsive. I have to older dogs that she cares for and I trust with both of them. One is blind and truly dependent on her caregiver. I can confidently leave her and know she is well taken care of in my absence. So thankful for the peace of mind in knowing she’s there to help and take great care of my furbabies!”

“Michelle has taken care of my kitty SO many times along with another kitty I had who was a senior and ultimately passed. He also needed medications and Michelle was great at handling that! She also leaves my place very clean which is great for me because im a huge clean freak. I am so thankful to have someone consistent I can keep going back to! She also sends lots of updates and pictures which I think is essential while you’re traveling and want to make sure your pet is safe and well taken care of!”

Diella did drop in visits for my 2 cats and dog (including walks) in March and was wonderful. She had cared for my cats before but recently one of them has required more attention and Diella was communicative, on time, and great about asking questions and sharing what was going on. I also had to spring the dog care on her last minute and she was willing to help. My dog is polite and well behaved but not the best walker and I really appreciated all the effort she put in with her!! I definitely recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
