“Dakota was great with our animals. They are a handful of a group, so it was awesome that Dakota was able to handle them. He was also very good about keeping in contact and keeping me in the loop!”

“Amanda did an amazing job. She kept us updated with how everything was going and even sent us photos. The house was kept as clean as we had it and all of our boys were clearly well loved and taken care of while we were away. I highly recommend her for any of your needs to include house sitting! Very reliable and trustworthy!”

“We love Nita and trust her with our precious Max! We were out of the country for this last trip and felt completely at ease. The house was the same as when we left but more importantly Max was happy and relaxed. We already have her booked for our next trip and several more are coming. She is great!!”

I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing regular exercise, feeding schedules, and plenty of attention and affection. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with companionship, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is to provide a loving environment where dogs can thrive, whether they are staying in their own home or in mine. If you want something that helps you stand out, you could add: As a teacher, patience, consistency, and attentiveness come naturally to me. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves individualized care, clear communication, and lots of positive attention. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine right now because I am on summer break from teaching and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship throughout the day rather than only being available during limited hours. Whether your pet needs regular walks, frequent potty breaks, medication reminders, or simply extra company, I have the time and flexibility to make their care a priority and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and affection. Because my yard is not fenced, all outdoor time is closely supervised and dogs are kept on a leash for walks, potty breaks, and outdoor activities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and house rules to help pets feel secure and comfortable. I maintain clear communication with owners and treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own.
“This was the second time that Bertha has cared for my dog while I was away. She did such a great job the first time that I knew she would do great again. My dog, Grace, adores Bertha. She was in good hands, so I did not have to worry about much. I would absolutely call on Bertha again for my next house sitting.”

“Ngina took very good care of our fur babies, she sent plenty of pictures during her stay and I made us feel very comfortable. We will be reaching out to Ngina again.”

“Azia was great with our Australian Shepherd! She was well cared for and obviously given lots of attention. Azia also communicated with us regularly about how our pup was doing. We’d love to have her watch Millie again!”

About: Fur babies are family! They need love and patience. Growing up I had a Pekingese for 13 years and then a poodle mix for 12 years. So I learned at an early age the responsibility of caring for the family pet. My first adult pet was a mini lob rabbit which I had for 10 years. It had some medical issues in which required regular care from the local vet. A few years ago I was introduced to Great Danes and immediately fell in love! Zoe, my twelve year old Dane lived her best life. She went to parks, family gatherings, car rides, camping. She passed away last year at the age of 12 1/2. I am not ready for another pet just yet and now that I have some free time I would love to give others the sense of security by playing, loving and caring for their pet. I'm recently retired and have a flexible schedule. With that flexibility I have the opportunity to check on your pets or provide over night care with short notices. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pet to lay in the sun, run, stretch and play! For over night stays a crate might be beneficial depending on your pets behavior and comfort. For day to day visits I will respect your property and pet and follow your guidelines to ensure our pet friendly visit is successful.
“We had a wonderful experience with Katherine caring for Charlie! From the beginning, communication was excellent, and it was clear that Charlie was in caring and capable hands. We appreciated the updates, photos, and attention given to his needs while we were away. Charlie was happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s not always easy leaving your pet with someone else, but this experience exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend Katherine to other pet parents looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Cassie’s care of our home and dogs while we were away! We have two middle-aged dogs and a puppy, and each of them was clearly well loved and cared for—happy, relaxed, and full of energy when we returned. Cassie went above and beyond in keeping our house spotless; in fact, it was cleaner than when we left, which is saying a lot given all the rain during our trip. It gave us such peace of mind knowing both our pets and our home were in such capable hands. Cassie is responsible, attentive, and truly wonderful—we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Ty did a fantastic job taking care of our anxious pups! He provided photos/video updates daily and we could see how happy our dogs were. Not only did he provide loving care with walks, playtime, and cuddles; but he also did personal training sessions with our dogs as well to help improve their behavior. About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve cared for a family member’s dogs and cats on several occasions. I’ve helped with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping litter boxes clean, always making sure they felt comfortable and well cared for while their owner was away. I’m responsible, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to providing safe and dependable care. As a college student, I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 AM–2 PM, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Outside of those hours and my part-time job, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets. I plan my days carefully to ensure pets receive consistent care, attention, and timely feedings, so you can feel confident they’re in reliable hands. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they receive timely feedings, fresh water, walks, playtime, and lots of attention while keeping their space clean and tidy. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so my home is a calm environment, and I’m able to accommodate small to medium-sized dogs. My goal is always to provide safe, attentive, and loving care.

Duncanville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mario was a great help to us, and we are very thankful for the care he provided. We are new to the United States and to Dallas, and since we travel frequently, we were hoping to build a trusted relationship with someone who could help care for our dogs when we are away. After the initial meet and greet, we immediately noticed that both of our dogs, a German Shepherd and a Shih Tzu, were very comfortable having Mario around, which gave us a lot of confidence. Mario came to our home at the requested time and made sure to spend time with the dogs, helping them feel comfortable and settled after we left for our trip. Since he works from home, he was available most of the time, which was very reassuring for us. He also kept us updated daily, which we really appreciated. He followed their regular routine, took them for three walks each day, and made sure they were well cared for throughout his stay. When we returned, our dogs were happy, energetic, and clearly comfortable, which meant a lot to us. Mario also kept the room clean and left everything just as we had left it. We would be very happy to have Mario help us again in the future.
