I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and providing companionship for dogs of different sizes and personalities. About: I have been on Rover for about 4 years since I moved to DFW. I have also owned 2 English bulldogs. I have experience raising a puppy and I currently have a 5 year old, male English Bulldog. I would LOVE to take care of your fur baby!! I currently work a full-time job but I’m happy to make time to care for your fur babies! I am available for cat/dog sitting around Cedar Hill during weekdays and outside of Cedar Hill on the weekends :) I have experience with senior pets and puppies, from low energy to high energy level. About: Fur babies are family! They need love and patience. Growing up I had a Pekingese for 13 years and then a poodle mix for 12 years. So I learned at an early age the responsibility of caring for the family pet. My first adult pet was a mini lob rabbit which I had for 10 years. It had some medical issues in which required regular care from the local vet. A few years ago I was introduced to Great Danes and immediately fell in love! Zoe, my twelve year old Dane lived her best life. She went to parks, family gatherings, car rides, camping. She passed away last year at the age of 12 1/2. I am not ready for another pet just yet and now that I have some free time I would love to give others the sense of security by playing, loving and caring for their pet. I'm recently retired and have a flexible schedule. With that flexibility I have the opportunity to check on your pets or provide over night care with short notices. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pet to lay in the sun, run, stretch and play! For over night stays a crate might be beneficial depending on your pets behavior and comfort. For day to day visits I will respect your property and pet and follow your guidelines to ensure our pet friendly visit is successful.

While I primarily care for dogs and cats, I’m also very comfortable with birds, reptiles, and other non-traditional pets. I am a 1st year veterinary student at Texas A&M with one year of full-time technical experience in small animal medicine and many years of part-time work, shadowing, and ownership of companion animals. Your pets are the heart of why I’m still in school, and I’d love to help families out while I pay my way through school! I’d love to partner with you to make sure your pets live enriched, healthy lives! I am currently in school full-time till the first of May, but have much more availability opening up during the summer. My weekends allow me a lot of flexibility and my schedule can be variable, so if a last minute walk or check-in during a week day is needed, I’ll try by best to be there! Reducing anxiety and maximizing enrichment is my primary focus whether that be a long walk/run, playing fetch/tug, or some nice pets on the couch, I’m here to adapt to your pet’s needs and make life easier for you!

I have house sat & boarded pets for 8 years now for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat them like my own and ensure that they're fed, get walked, lots of rubs, and everything I can to keep their usual routine! I'm currently not working and want to do something I love to stay busy. I have an open schedule to handle all your pets needs. I stay in a very spacious 3 bedroom home with yard space where they have plenty of room to roam. There are also parks near to release their energy. I currently have an open schedule. I always update my schedule to reflect any changes. I am very flexible at the moment. Once I have a pet job in place I try to focus on the pet/pets. It honestly depends on the animal. Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.

About: I have 8 years of pet care experience including, volunteering at a local animal shelter, dog sitting around my neighborhood, and even occasionally cat sitting for neighbors! I currently work at an integrative veterinary office where I handle and interact with dogs daily. I also took ag classes at my highschool where we learn how to handle and groom dogs as well as livestock animals. I am currently working during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but it shouldn’t effect my availability at all.
