About: I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels, including puppies who need patience and consistency with basic training and potty routines, as well as senior dogs who require a gentler approach and extra attention. I am comfortable administering oral medications, following special feeding instructions, and providing regular exercise and enrichment. What sets me apart is my focus on communication and individualized care. I provide updates, photos, and prompt responses so pet owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, well cared for, and receiving plenty of attention and affection. I work from home Monday - Friday . I’m always available even spur of the moment. I’m able to make arrangements . Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I schedule my time to ensure pets receive regular walks, feeding, playtime, and any special care they may need. I am committed to maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I also provide updates and photos so owners can stay connected and have peace of mind. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I follow their established routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help pets feel secure and stress-free. I take time to build trust with each pet and ensure they have a clean, safe environment with plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. During walks, I use secure leashes and remain aware of my surroundings to keep pets safe. I also monitor pets closely for any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and communicate promptly with owners if any concerns arise. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the same level of care and routine their pet is accustomed to. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

About: Hi, my name is Saella! Growing up, I have always had a love for animals and grew up around them, having 6 family dogs that I had helped to care for. My most recent care experience with dogs were for 14-16 year old dachshunds that had special needs. I also had the privilege and trust to foster a cat, Oppo, until he could be found a new forever home. When caring for animals, it’s important to treat them with care and as if they were my own. If you have questions or anything that you would like to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to reach out! I understand wanting to make sure your fur baby is properly loved and cared for. I am currently a full-time grad student. I’m most available on weekends, but depending on the time of day, I can be flexible. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out :) I hope to provide a safe and caring environment for your fur baby. I generally try to engage with your pet in play or some enrichment activity. I am most comfortable with additional considerations for pet safety based on what you feel is best for you and your family.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep understanding of pets' individual needs and my calm, patient approach—especially with puppies and senior animals. I have hands-on experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, housebreaking, and leash manners. I also specialize in senior pet care, from administering medications to providing gentle exercise and comfort tailored to their age and health conditions. Pet parents often tell me they feel at ease knowing I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in their pet’s well-being. I treat every animal like my own—whether it’s keeping a high-energy puppy engaged with structured play or ensuring an older dog feels safe and relaxed in their routine. Additionally, I stay in close communication with owners, sending regular updates and photos, so they always feel connected. My goal is to provide not just care, but peace of mind. I am currently on my summer break so I am free for most of July and August! Once school starts I won’t be able to board many animals because I will be gone but I would still be available to walk animals or go over to a house and feed/let out your pet! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, my priority is always to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s needs. In My Home: I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of room to play and rest. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or medication—so they feel secure and at ease. I provide plenty of mental stimulation through toys, training games, and cuddles, and I make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level and age. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and I always maintain a clean, supervised environment. In My Client’s Home: I respect the home as much as I do the pet. I maintain the pet’s usual schedule to help minimize stress while their owner is away. That includes sticking to walk times, feeding routines, administering medications, and giving them the attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep the home tidy, water plants if needed, bring in mail, and send regular updates with photos and notes to keep clients fully informed. No matter the location, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with love, patience, and consistent care.

About: Experienced pet lover, having owned a German Shepherd and 3 cats. Trusted pet sitter since age 12, working for neighbors and others who have hired me to take care of their animals while at work and overnights. Currently works as an overnight Pet sitter for families in the Mansfield/Arlington Area. Timid pets and large dogs welcome! I am an author and currently working on a novel! My schedule is very flexible so I can come to you and fit into most schedules! Giving attention to each pet in a way that is best for them is important to me! Dogs will often need a walk or backyard "catch" time followed by cuddle time on the couch (if the owner allows!). Cats sometime would rather be left alone, but it they let me hold them, I will snuggle and scratch them to their hearts contents!! I am comfortable with large dogs and ones that jump or are overly excitable are fine with me!

About: Being a country girl, I have pet sit anything from dogs to indoor pot belly pigs to even donkeys. I've had dogs my entire life (4 of my own currently) and love to make your worry less while away. I love to send pictures and videos so you can see first hand how much love they are receiving when you are away. If you have animals besides cats and dogs, I would love to help with them as well. I work part time for a local retailer and prefer to be with animals so, I can almost always move my schedule around to accommodate except the time line that I need to get in the school line for my kids I only pet sit in your home as I have 5 very spoiled dogs on my own. I do bring my 5 old and 9 year old with me if I can to help play ball and show your pups (or fellow animals as much affection as they need while you are away.

About: I've always been a huge animal advocate, taking care and taking over pets that my friends and family can no longer care for. I am my friends go-to for their animal boarding needs when going on vacation and can't get enough. I've studied dog behavior for years and am so very passionate about these loyal and loving babies. I seek to create relationships with the owners and pups and sustain a living doing the one thing that brings me energy and happiness. I do hope you consider me, I will treat any animals as my own family and have always taken a leadership role, giving me the skill to make calls quickly and easily. My yard is .7 acre and is has plenty of running room for when we're not down at the dog park, just a mile away from my house, or at our neighborhood park walking path. I'm always available for picture/video updates during their stay if the parent ever misses their pup. -Your animal adventurist I work from home with my toddler and we love to get outside and go for walks often, so this would absolutely fit in our day. I do have a home with a fenced in yard, and usually for drop ins, I’ll care for any pets and plants I see and carry in mail. I think of it as what I’d want done while I’m out in my own home without having to ask.

About: With over 12 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, I’ve been devoted to animals since I was 13 years old. Now 25, I bring a calm, compassionate presence to every pet I care for. I have a friendly furry companion who loves to socialize, so your dog can have fun playtime together—if you’re comfortable with that. For pets who need extra security or rest, I’m happy to use their crate or provide a comfortable crate of my own. I also offer gentle bathing, teeth brushing, and fur grooming to keep your pet feeling fresh and cared for. Whether caring at your home or mine, I carefully follow all instructions to maintain your pet’s routine and wellbeing with trust and respect. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities.

About: I’ve had dogs for my whole life and I’ve worked with foster dogs for nearly twenty years, many with special needs. I’m always the first one my family and friends reach out to if they need their pets/homes watched. Next day bookings add a one-time $20 fee. No same day bookings unless you’re a returning client and will add a $25 one-time fee. Short notice bookings (same or next day) are more likely to be declined. I’m currently minimally employed so I can easily fit your needs into my schedule so long as I’m not already booked. All new clients require a meet and greet prior to booking. I let my dogs out at least once every two hours and I make sure to pay attention to whether or not they want to play. If they want to play, I’ll play. If they are resting I’ll let them be. I regularly check their water and food (if they are free-fed). I give my own dogs fish oil every day for their coats as well as any prescriptions they currently have so I’ll have no problem getting the more “discerning” pups to take any pills they need.

About: I’ve always loved animals and feel very comfortable caring for them. Friends and family have trusted me to watch their pets, feed them, walk them, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy spending time playing with dogs and making sure they get the care and attention they need. I always treat other dogs and cats including stray animals as if they are my own. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and making sure they get lots of playtime and attention. I’m most available Thursday through Sunday, with full availability on Sundays. During the week I attend school and occasionally babysit, but I still have time for drop-ins, walks, visits, and pet care. On Saturdays I attend church, but I’m available before 1pm and after 3pm. I’m happy to work with owners to make sure their pets receive consistent care, exercise, and attention. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment and treat every pet like family. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, and I provide toys and treats to keep them engaged and happy. My neighborhood also has a walking trail, which is perfect for longer nature walks and daily exercise. I have two friendly dogs of my own—an 8-year-old female and a 14-year-old male—who are calm and used to being around people and other pets. I keep my dogs’ vaccinations up to date and can provide that information for transparency and safety. For overnight stays or visits, I ask that owners provide their dog’s food, leash, bed, and any specific items their pet is used to, as well as shampoo if a bath is requested. For everyone’s safety, pets should be up-to-date on important vaccinations, especially rabies and routine deworming. Dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. Pets are welcome on the bed or couch as long as they are vaccinated, trained, and comfortable. I also send updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and happy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
