“"Leslie is the best! Coco absolutely adores her, and I never worry when she's in Leslie's hands. She's so attentive and treats Coco like her own, always going above and beyond with walks, playtime, and check-ins. It's such a relief knowing Coco is happy and well cared for whenever Leslie's around."”

“Gary is awesome! Even during the meet and greet I felt safe with him dropping in my home to check on Bella. He kept me up to date on how things were going with plenty of pictures and a video and ensured that other directions were followed such as closing the blinds and leaving a certain light on. I will definitely be using Gary again!”

“Melody was phenomenal with our cats, we highly recommend her! We have 3 cats, each requiring lots of attention and special care. Two of the cats do not get along, so they have to stay separated. And one of the cats had a urinary blockage in the past, so requires special food and a bit more special attention. We booked Melody for drop-in visits to feed and spend time with the cats. Melody took special care to make sure the cats stayed separate and each cat individually received their unique needs and attention. We received detailed reports for each visit with lots of pictures! It was our first time leaving all 3 cats, and we were very comfortable and happy leaving them in Melody’s care! We will be using her again!”

“Jennifer and Deron took great care of Turbo! We got updates throughout the visit. They also politely kept our house in amazing condition while we were away! Will definitely use again to watch our fur baby.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep understanding of pets' individual needs and my calm, patient approach—especially with puppies and senior animals. I have hands-on experience with basic puppy training, including crate training, housebreaking, and leash manners. I also specialize in senior pet care, from administering medications to providing gentle exercise and comfort tailored to their age and health conditions. Pet parents often tell me they feel at ease knowing I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in their pet’s well-being. I treat every animal like my own—whether it’s keeping a high-energy puppy engaged with structured play or ensuring an older dog feels safe and relaxed in their routine. Additionally, I stay in close communication with owners, sending regular updates and photos, so they always feel connected. My goal is to provide not just care, but peace of mind. I am currently on my summer break so I am free for most of July and August! Once school starts I won’t be able to board many animals because I will be gone but I would still be available to walk animals or go over to a house and feed/let out your pet! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, my priority is always to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s needs. In My Home: I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of room to play and rest. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or medication—so they feel secure and at ease. I provide plenty of mental stimulation through toys, training games, and cuddles, and I make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level and age. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and I always maintain a clean, supervised environment. In My Client’s Home: I respect the home as much as I do the pet. I maintain the pet’s usual schedule to help minimize stress while their owner is away. That includes sticking to walk times, feeding routines, administering medications, and giving them the attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep the home tidy, water plants if needed, bring in mail, and send regular updates with photos and notes to keep clients fully informed. No matter the location, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with love, patience, and consistent care.
About: Growing up with a house full of animals (including my orange tabby that I bottle-fed as a baby) has made dogs and cats feel like family to me. This means I understand the unique energy and needs of your furry companions. I currently share my home with two active cats, Beans and Cowboy, who serve as my very energetic (and very early morning) alarm clocks. I offer services including dog-sitting in your home, drop-in visits, and/or dog walking. When I care for your pet(s), my priority is making sure they have the best experience with me while you are away. This includes engaging activities like walks, playing outside, or just keeping them company. I take great pride in ensuring your animal is happy and healthy when you return. My wife and I live in Alvarado and work in Mansfield. Our schedule is fixed during the week (Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00) but we are always flexible on the weekends for drop-ins, weekend walks, and we enjoy spending the weekend with our Rover pets, too! Your rules are my rules as well. If your animals have a specific routine, we will continue to adhere to that same routine. I want your pets to continue to feel the same level of comfort in their own home.
About: Hello! For my experience I have lived on a farm most of my life living with no less than 5 animals at one time. I grew up with four dogs and three cats and I am currently in college to become a veterinarian. I am currently in between work so I am usually at home and always available to watch over the animals almost all of the time I have a dog run at my complex and a fenced in yard so dogs can run free and get some excessive energy out of
“Desree was so accommodating, took our booking at the very last minute, which we appreciated so much! She was awesome with our babies, she was very patient and gentle with them. She did all that was asked and some! She’s also a dog Mom which helped to ease our mind. Awesome communication, she stayed in touch with us often. We look forward to working with Desree again very soon! Your babies will be in good hands with Desree :)”

“Whitney is the best. I was in late meetings for two days and Whitney took good care of my Princess. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to do a drop in. She went over and above to make sure my Princess got her walks in and that she was fed. I have no complaints, Princess love her and responds to her very well. She made Princess feel real comfortable. I will be using her service again in the future.”

“First time using Rover and I couldn't be happier! Jessica was very responsive and malleable enough to adjust her visit to one extra foster pup. The updates and pictures were definitely a plus! Did I mention my fur babies loved her visits? Jess, they'll definitely be seeing you again! Thank you for your loving care!”

“Justin is fantastic. We have a very anxious pup and he’s great with her and she loves him. He is super responsive, professional, punctual, I can not recommend him enough!!”

“I can’t speak highly enough of Kaesy. She not only took amazing care of our cats (genuinely bonded with them, kept them clean and fed and loved and played with), she went above and beyond when our family had an emergency to watch them longer than expected. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands and we didn’t have to worry about how they were doing at home. I highly recommend her as someone you can trust to watch your pets and have in your home, and we absolutely hope to work with her again!”

About: I have 8 years of pet care experience including, volunteering at a local animal shelter, dog sitting around my neighborhood, and even occasionally cat sitting for neighbors! I currently work at an integrative veterinary office where I handle and interact with dogs daily. I also took ag classes at my highschool where we learn how to handle and groom dogs as well as livestock animals. I am currently working during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but it shouldn’t effect my availability at all. I am available all day on the other days of the week for the remainder of summer! I have two dogs that I take care of daily. I am easily flexible with my client’s requests. I am also familiar with giving dogs any medication if needed.

“Laura is a wonderful pet sitter! Very kind and attentive to my cat. Notified me right away of any concerns while I was away and sent me pictures to let me know things were going well. Would highly recommend her services if you are looking for someone to care for your pet while you are away.”

“Avery dropped in to watch our pets for a few days while we were away. She was very communicative and sent me photos each time which meant a lot to me! I could tell she really cared for our pets and treated them as her own while in her care. We are beyond happy we found Avery and have already booked her again!😊 10/10 recommend you book her for your babies!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mansfield. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
