“Laura was wonderful with my babies. She sent photos of the dogs outside. She followed directions on their food/water feeding. She is very trustworthy, pays attention to detail. Laura was within the timeframe we discussed, she text me when she saw it appeared someone else had been in my home. (I failed to inform her a domestic keeper would also be there at times) I will definitely be using her again.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up around cats, dogs, and even farm animals, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I also have experience as a veterinary technician and took agriculture classes throughout high school, which gave me a strong understanding of animal care and behavior. 🐾 I’m especially comfortable caring for senior pets, pets who need medications, or pets who just need a little extra love, patience, and attention while you’re away. I know every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m happy to work with you to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for! I’ll also send photos and updates during drop-ins or walks so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away! 📸🐶🐱 My work schedule is a rotating one, so my availability changes from week to week. Just message me if you have any questions or if you’re looking for specific dates/times, and we can work something out! I’d love to meet your pets and help however I can! 🤍 I work a rotating 4-on, 4-off schedule, so my availability changes from week to week. Because of this, I don’t have the same days available every week, but I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated as much as possible! If you’re interested in booking with me, just send me a message with the dates and times you need. Even if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on my calendar, feel free to reach out! I’m always happy to see if we can work something out around my schedule. 😊 Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, caring, and reliable environment where your pet can feel secure and at ease while you’re away. I take the time to build trust with each pet through patience, gentle handling, and attention to their individual needs and routines. Whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe and cared for every step of the way. You can also expect clear communication and regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to create a stress free experience for both you and your furry family member. 🐶🐱
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience! She did drop-in visits for my dog while I was away, and I couldn't have asked for better care. She was reliable, communicative, and made sure my pup was well taken care of at every visit. I loved receiving updates and photos—it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was happy and in great hands. She truly went above and beyond, and it was obvious she genuinely cared. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring Rover sit”

“Suzanne’s very kind and gave lots of pictures and information about my sweet boy. He is definitely a wild puppy and she spent time with him and cared for him well. I felt confident leaving him in her care and will book again for sure!”

About: Growing up with a house full of animals (including my orange tabby that I bottle-fed as a baby) has made dogs and cats feel like family to me. This means I understand the unique energy and needs of your furry companions. I currently share my home with two active cats, Beans and Cowboy, who serve as my very energetic (and very early morning) alarm clocks. I offer services including dog-sitting in your home, drop-in visits, and/or dog walking. When I care for your pet(s), my priority is making sure they have the best experience with me while you are away. This includes engaging activities like walks, playing outside, or just keeping them company. I take great pride in ensuring your animal is happy and healthy when you return. My wife and I live in Alvarado and work in Mansfield. Our schedule is fixed during the week (Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00) but we are always flexible on the weekends for drop-ins, weekend walks, and we enjoy spending the weekend with our Rover pets, too! Your rules are my rules as well. If your animals have a specific routine, we will continue to adhere to that same routine. I want your pets to continue to feel the same level of comfort in their own home.
“Gary is awesome! Even during the meet and greet I felt safe with him dropping in my home to check on Bella. He kept me up to date on how things were going with plenty of pictures and a video and ensured that other directions were followed such as closing the blinds and leaving a certain light on. I will definitely be using Gary again!”

“Alyssa took fantastic care of our dog. Our dog immediately warmed up. She went above and beyond playing with her and giving her attention. We will definitely be coming back to her when we need someone to watch our dog.”

“Adriana demonstrated professionalism in her punctuality and communication. She followed our instructions for Mickey and Katniss care while we were out of town, ensuring our cat was well-fed and their litter boxes were clean. She kept us informed with regular updates, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience with Adriana was very positive, and we’d gladly recommend her services to other cat owners.”

“Kaesy is just wonderful!! Trustworthy, personable, great communication, and clearly loves animals. She sent us many pictures every visit and wrote a detailed description each time of how each pet was. 20/10 recommend using her!!! We will be using her again in the near future!”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog lover with a soft spot for big personalities and boundless energy. At home I share my life with my own 5-year-old pitbull — a loyal, playful, and well-socialized companion who keeps me active every day. Living with a strong, high-drive breed has taught me a lot about clear communication, positive reinforcement, proper leash manners, and reading canine body language. I know how to handle confident dogs while keeping walks safe, structured, and fun. I’m currently offering dog walking as well and am happy to spend extra time playing, exploring, or just hanging out so your dog gets both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Whether your pup needs a brisk neighborhood stroll, a longer adventure, or some quality fetch/tug time in a safe space, I’m all in. I adapt the pace and style to each dog’s age, energy level, and personality. You can expect: • Reliable, on-time service • Plenty of photos and updates during walks • A calm, confident handler who prioritizes safety and positive experiences • Extra playtime and attention because every dog deserves to feel special I treat every dog as if they were my own and am committed to making sure they come home happy, tired, and well-cared for. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I own a cleaning business and control my own schedule to fit in pet care and play time where it’s needed. I would love to add a routine of pet care into my daily tasks! I know every pet is different and has their own needs and comfortability level. I will be a guest in yours and your pets home so I will act and treat it as such. Abiding by any rules, routines and regulations you require in order to keep care consistent and prevent any anxieties in your babies while you’re away.

“Whitney is the best. I was in late meetings for two days and Whitney took good care of my Princess. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to do a drop in. She went over and above to make sure my Princess got her walks in and that she was fed. I have no complaints, Princess love her and responds to her very well. She made Princess feel real comfortable. I will be using her service again in the future.”

About: Being a country girl, I have pet sit anything from dogs to indoor pot belly pigs to even donkeys. I've had dogs my entire life (4 of my own currently) and love to make your worry less while away. I love to send pictures and videos so you can see first hand how much love they are receiving when you are away. If you have animals besides cats and dogs, I would love to help with them as well. I pet sit full time so I can almost always move my schedule around to accommodate except the time line that I need to get in the school line for my kids. I only pet sit in your home as I have 5 very spoiled dogs on my own. I do bring my 5 old and 10 year old with me if I can to help play ball and show your pups (or fellow animals as much affection as they need while you are away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
