About: I’ve been around pets all my life! I’ve never lived in a house that did not have a dog or cat present, and it just doesn’t feel like home without one! I’m currently an owner of a 7 year old cat myself, but I’ve always been around dogs of all ages and sizes! I frequently pet sit and stay overnight for family members, as well. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm, but I do have an hour lunch break from 11:30 am-12:30 pm, which I can use to check on your pet, take them on a short walk, play, or feed them (if needed!) I do not work on the weekends, so I am 100% available to stay overnight Friday-Saturday and make sure everything is good to go before I leave on Sunday! Before I leave and while I’m there, I always make sure there is nothing left out that an animal can get into, and I always ensure there is water and food that is easily accessible to them. A good play session is something I like to do to make sure they were given enough attention before I leave, or, for dogs, I take them on a short walk to get some of that energy out!

“We couldn't be more grateful for Kyra’s attentive and caring service. During an unexpected family emergency, we were unable to return home as planned. Kyra not only ensured our cats were fed and comfortable, but she also went above and beyond. When she noticed one of our cats having difficulty with the litter box, she promptly informed us, allowing us to arrange for a vet visit when we return home. Her observant and proactive approach was a huge relief. We highly recommend Kyra to any pet owner who wants peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in capable and compassionate hands.”

“Can’t say enough about Hannah G!! She took great care our our fur babies while we enjoyed family time out of the country! She went above and beyond to keep us updated on our babies care with daily photos! I highly recommend Hannah for your Rover needs and we will definitely be repeat customers!! 🐶🐈⬛🐈”

About: From puppy training to senior care - let me provide you with peace of mind while you're at work or traveling! I can help train your new puppy or make sure your senior cat is getting their daily meds and all the attention they need. I work from home so sleepovers or day care is super easy, also happy to do drop-in visits or walks in your neighborhood if commute and schedule allow. I have a large, fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood for walking, squirrel sighting, and generally smelling all the things. I know what it's like to leave your pets with someone you trust - let me earn your trust so that you can vacation/work/etc. peacefully.
“Mckenzie was the absolute BEST!! She went above and beyond what we could have asked for. This was our first time using a catsitter, and first time out of the country, but she was so attentive with our fur baby and us (ha!) sending very detailed updates, photos, and treating Boots as if he were her own. She will be our go-to from here on out!”

“Tereza was wonderful with our two cats, Absinthe and Lucius! She sent thoughtful daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She quickly picked up on their very different personalities - our outgoing black cat and our shy tabby - and was so patient with Lucius while he warmed up to her. She even let us know when she found one of their Churu treats and checked before giving them another one, which showed how attentive she was. I highly recommend Tereza. ❤️”

“Sabrina is AMAZING! My pup has Stage 5 IVDD and is paralyzed/incontinent. I had a 24-hour period I was going to be away, and she stepped in and treated Lily JUST like her own. She even helped with a sudden diaper sore that popped up. You can tell she has a special needs dog of her own. I will be booking her MANY, MANY more times. I could not reccomend her highly enough, if you don't book her, you are missing out! Thank you, Sabrina <3”

“10/10 Rachel was amazing. We booked her for about a week and she was amazing . She was on time each day, sent a lot of photos and kept us update the whole week. I would recommend her for any dog / breed as she handled my malinois who is so hyper and she handled him with ease. 10/10”
About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.
“I felt so comfortable leaving both my dog and cat with Shelby. She took such great care of them, sent lots of pics, and was very responsive. I felt at ease while on vacay, and could really enjoy my trip with no stress. 10/10 recommend! Will deff use again. 🫶🏻”

“Maria was fantastic! Reliable, efficient, and caring. Was able to work around an event happening in my neighborhood and easily problem solved some issues i had forgotten to go over with her. 10/10 would book again.”

“Gabrielle is incredible! Not only did she listen to all of the little special requests I had about how to handle my girl in the best way possible, she went above and beyond sending me pictures and spending as much of the 30 minute visit out on a walk like I requested! I can tell she loved my girl well, and would highly recommend her to anyone who is nervous about leaving their baby in the care of someone else!”

“Ariana is great. She is always very respectful of my home and great with my dogs while I'm at work. It gives me peace of mind that they get a chance to go outside and get some playtime.”

“Kelsey is really fantastic! She actually plays with my dogs during the drop-in (unlike other sitters I've had), even though they're old and grumpy sometimes, and if they're not in the mood to play, she at least talks to them and pets them. She's super-punctual and overall a lovely person.”
“Linda has helped watch our dogs a few times now, and she always does an excellent job! Our dogs love her and always receive the best care. She is very kind and always sends us photos and updates!”

Thank you Hannah, took care of our cats and sent pictures, we were concerned for our 1 cat Leo,as he is skittish and we're afraid he wouldnt eat, but Hannah adjusted a few things to get him to eat and then all went great, thanks again Hannah, I highly recommend her.

Kyra is absolutely wonderful! We always feel completely comfortable leaving our pets in her care. She’s dependable, communicative, and takes such great care of them while we’re away. It’s such a relief knowing they’re with someone we trust. We’re always happy to have Kyra watch them and would definitely recommend her!

I cannot say enough great things about Denim! We were gone for 8 days, and she took such amazing care of our two kittens. She kept us updated every day, sent lots of pictures, made sure they had everything they needed, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we were away. She is incredibly sweet, reliable, and clearly cares so much about the animals she looks after. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our kittens were in such good hands. We are so thankful for her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

Maci was wonderful! She is highly communicative and always let me know whenever she was on her way to my house. She followed all instructions perfectly and provided regular updates complete with text and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. My cats look like they were well taken care of while I was away. Highly recommended!

Corrina was awesome with my two cats! She played with my friendly, overly brave boy and won over my shy (okay, scared) girl. She adhered to my recommendations for care and schedules and asked applicable follow-up questions as needed. It was reassuring to have my pets in such capable and caring hands. I would absolutely recommend Corrina to anyone and rebook whenever our schedules align.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
