“Yuliya agreed to care for my pups with only a days notice. I was frantically attempting to book someone due to an event that came up that I had to attend. She provided them love and care and also took numerous photos as she knew that I missed them. She also brought in my parcels and gave my pups all their medications. I highly recommend Yuliya and her excellent services!”

“Maura has been fantastic with our little guy! She is kind, professional and caring. Communication is great, has been taking the time to get our Pup acquainted and comfortable around her - always provides detail report cards.”

“Thank you, Karen! I’m not sure who is happier right now, us or our zoo. It’s so hard leaving them behind. But allowing them to stay in their home, knowing that they are being well cared for, makes it so much easier. I can’t say thank you enough!”

“Haylle did a great job taking care of our cat during a week long vacation. Our cat is super shy with strangers, but surprisingly warmed up to Haylle in just a day! We will definitely rebook.”

“Tereza did excellent in dropping by to care for my shiba inu pancake while I was out at NYC for vacation. Despite being new to rover, she took care of him real well and pancake got along with her.”

“Michelle was so wonderful to have watch our two babies. She met with us ahead of time to learn about our routine, which was so kind of her. During our trip, we had cute pictures of our pups, and her notes reflected their personalities on point! You can tell she adores our pets almost as much as we do! I would love to have her back anytime!”

“Carol took such great care of our cats. Her updates were so detailed with adorable pictures and suggestions. She was so kind and easy to work with. Our kitties were in great hands which made me feel so much better about leaving them”

“Amazing sitter! Great with our pups and was so kind and was able to take our booking last minute. We didn't have to worry at all and had a great weekend. Thank you so much!!”

“Amy was a dream caretaker! She went above and beyond to watch our two GSPs for 8+ days. She even kept an eye out for our cat and snake out just of kindness to make sure they were ok too. :) Her communication was so thorough, forthcoming and frequent. Amy was always super fast to respond, from the initial booking request to the very end when she went an extra mile to help us in a pinch when we had flight delays. Amy is a quintessential professional who was just the sweetest with our pets. We wouldn't hesitate to book with her again! Thank you a million, Amy!!!”

“Amanda was so wonderful with Molly while I was away at work during the storms 🐾💛 She sent the sweetest pictures/updates and stayed extra time with her to help keep her calm during the thunder. Knowing Molly was so cared for gave me such peace of mind. We’re both so grateful for her kindness!”

“I'm so thankful to feel at ease when I had an emergency with my sister's passing such a horrific situation and michaela making me feel so comforting with coming in my house to watch my babies. I'm so grateful for your services AND MOST OF ALL FOR YOU MICHAELA for taking amazing care of my babies as well as loving them.”

About: I’ve been taking care of all types of animals for many years. I took specific courses in high school in how to care for a wide range of animals. I also worked at a pet boarding center taking care of both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own and would want someone who loves them like I do. I love all animals no matter the size, amount of hair, or amount of limbs! I’m currently working part time with a fluctuating schedule so in my free time I would love to help out those who need some extra attention for their furry friends, or not so furry. I have pet sit in my neighbors and friends houses all my life. Whatever is needed of me I can workout with owners to make them as comfortable as possible. Pets are incredibly important to all of us so making owners and pets comfortable is the top priority.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and have house sat and pet sat for family members and friends. I love animals and have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I also have experience administering medication. I have helped care for a dog with epilepsy who took many medications and my current dog takes medications as well. I also work in a doggy day care where I take care of many different types of dogs with different needs. I am currently working part time and in school. I’m at work and school between 8am and 5pm. Some days I get off earlier. I can house sit weekends and walk dogs weekends and evenings. If needed, I can house sit during the week but I won’t be there all day. I do not currently have any dogs at my home. I rent and I’m not allowed to have pets, but I do have a fenced in back yard. When it comes to taking care of someone else’s dog, I can supervise them in the backyard if needed, and hopefully take them on walks or to the dog park.

About: For the past four years, I have taken jobs dog-sitting for friends, neighbors, and clients. I genuinely adore animals and enjoy caring for them! I am currently home from school at Texas A&M for the summer. I am currently available weekdays and Saturday, and can adjust my schedule to accommodate my clients! I am more than willing to offer all-day and overnight visits with pets! At the moment, I do have a job Monday through Friday, and will have to be away from the pets several hours during the day. However, it will be no more than 5 or 6 hours at a time. My services are available Monday through Saturday.

Libby is always amazing. This is the second time I’ve used her and I will continue to. She sent photos everyday, which I loved. She kept everything nice and neat and clean, which was better than I do! Thank you so much Libby, and the kitties say thank you too!❤️

Michaela was awesome! My cats are aging so don’t feel comfortable leaving them for long periods of time without care anymore. Michaela came in every other day and checked on my babies while we were on vacation, and she did a wonderful job with communicating and sending pics of our girls. The peace of mind she gave us was worth every penny!
This was our second time booking with Carol, and she was just as wonderful as the first! She took amazing care of our two cats, Lionel and Mars, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with photos and messages, which we always appreciate. It's clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches, and Lionel and Mars were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we got home. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Carol again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter. Thank you, Carol!

Karen is absolutely AMAZING!!! This is the first time I've ever had to have someone that I don't know check on my babies. Karen made me feel comfortable from the very beginning - from when we first communicated, during the meet and greet, and through the entire process!

Sharolyn was the perfect pet sitter. My 19 year old cat had special needs and they were no problem for Sharolyn. I was so happy to meet her. I could tell that she really loved animals and that made me feel good about leaving town. No worries. She also has such a nice personality and is easy to talk to.

We love TJ & Stacey!! Even though we were in a different country, they made communication so easy despite the time zone difference! We loved getting all the pictures and videos. Even better - our cat loved them!! We can’t wait to book with them again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
