“Claudia is awesome! She was very communicative and responds quickly to a message or phone call. I would most definitely like to watch Bella again. Thank you Claudia.”

About: My name is Haylee. I have had a love for animals all my life, ever since I got my first cat when I was six. I have pet-sitted and owned many pets over the years and I appreciate them all so much. I have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and reptiles. I am currently in long distance college classes, so I am able to come visit during the day. I am freely available to visit during work hours and take care of your pet. I care for the pet in the way laid out in your instructions! Making sure they walk and get their medicine and play as needed. I don't feed or give any snacks not expressly allowed by the owner!
“Hannah was amazing house sitting for us! She followed all of our instructions. I have a very old Chihuahua and she kept a close eye and did all her specific arrangements. She also took our bigger Pitbull out to play and walk outside so he could get some energy out. She left everything pristine at our home. There was a mishap with our apartment complex's parking and she handled it so graciously and understanding; I was very grateful for her patience and initiative in getting it sorted out while we were so far away.”

About: Play time through out the day, experience with older pets and administrating medication. Lots of cuddle time. Will be taking out for walks would need to leased trained. Will have lots of love and care during their stay. Your fur baby will be part of our fur baby home! Will be sending pictures to owner threw out the day, in order to let owners know that their fur baby is being well taken care, just as if you are here. My goal is to give a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and a fun filled stay and for owners to know their fur babies are being well taken care of and are loved as if they were here with them. Lots of love and cuddles. Ty :)
“Kaylan was a delight and Tibby responded to her very well. She was prompt and took good care with meds, food, walking and keeping my senior fragile pup safe and clean. Thanks Kaylan!”

“Theresa was an excellent house/dog sitter who works remotely and thus was at our home much of the time. Communication was excellent. We will definitely hire her again.”

“Amanda did a fantastic job house and pet sitting our three dogs and cat. She is attentive, reliable and sent updates and pictures. I highly recommend hiring Amanda to look after your home and pet children!!”

“Jaimie was a housesitter for our two dogs. Coordinating with her was so easy and we completely trusted her in our home. The dogs were very well taken care of. We will definately be booking with her again on our next trip.”
“Cady was seriously so amazing!!! She took time to come meet us beforehand and give my old chihuahua time to warm up to her. He is very scared of new people and she was so patient and kind with him, letting him approach heron his own time. She was very attentive with both the house information and details about our dog. She asked questions and communicated really well with me the entire time we were gone. She even sent adorable pictures! Not to mention she kept our house perfectly clean, as if no one was even there while we were gone! I 100% will refer my friends to Cady and we will definitely rebook in the future. Thank you, Cady!”

About: Hi I’m Rebecca! I’ve grown up with multiple dogs my entire life in a home with nothing but love for our furry family members. While growing up, I learned how to feed, walk, care for, and provide unconditional love to our pets. This has made me a patient, dependable, and responsible pet owner at an early age. My love for dogs will be reflected in how I take care of your pets. After raising our dogs from puppies to seniors, I understand what it’s like to need a helping hand and attend to our cute fur babies needs ❤️ My schedule is very flexible and open for daily and weekly bookings. I don’t have any restrictions preventing me from taking care of your pets and needs. I have open availability I will provide enrichment, healthy stimulation, and playtime into my pet care. I’m very attentive to their needs and will follow any schedules or requirements requested
“We couldn’t have asked for a better Petsitter! From the start, her communication was excellent- she followed up on our meet and greet plans and made sure everything was set before the booking. While we were away, she kept us updated with lots of pictures and messages, which gave us peace of mind. She was respectful of our home, even bringing in our mail and packages. Most importantly, our dogs absolutely loved her! She followed all of our care instructions perfectly, including administering medication to our dog Molly. We came home to happy pups and a tidy house. She was truly wonderful, and we would definitely use her services again! Thanks Sandra!”
About: I've owned both dogs and cats as well as pet-sat for both. I've never met a dog or cat I couldn't befriend. One of my hobbies is researching animal behavior science, so that I can learn to interpret the cues that animals give us about what they're thinking! I'm very happy to provide a fun environment for any pet! I currently have an internship, so I will be available Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I will also be available after work from 4:30 to 10 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. When pet-sitting, I take into account the owner's schedule and instructions first and foremost. I make sure the pets are properly cared for and have gotten the proper amount of exercise and enrichment.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old and have experience with both small and large breeds. Growing up, I was responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, and giving my family dogs plenty of love and attention. For the past 5 years, I've also helped care for a Golden Retriever and a mixed-breed dog at my parents' home. I currently live with a Husky and make sure he's fed, exercised, and taken outside every couple of hours. I'm dependable, patient, and understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, or companionship, I'll care for them like they're my own! I work in an office Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and work remotely on Fridays, giving me extra flexibility. I'm available for morning, evening, weekend, and Friday visits, walks, and drop-ins. I'll always communicate clearly, arrive on time, and make sure your pet receives the care, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. If these times don’t work, just shoot me a message and we can try to work something out! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and any special routines. I'll provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same care I give my own dogs.
“Gushing review alert! If I could give Chanel 10 stars that still wouldn't suffice. This angel responded to my slightly desperate outreach at the last minute and almost took better care of my furbabies than me. She was everything - punctual, reliable, communicative, responsible and responsive. Chanel showered my pups with love and attention. Faced with my boxer mix's version of a mid-walk "power nap" on a neighbor's lawn, Chanel just sat on the curb whilst my old girl got her second wind. That's Chanel in a nutshell. Need I say more? Thanks Chanel. You're a superstar!”

“Brigitte took excellent care of our dogs while we were away. She followed our dogs care instructions and even went the extra mile for them! We enjoyed having Brigitte care for our dogs while we were away.”

“Peggy was wonderful! She was so sweet and patient with our little goofballs. Both dogs and the house were very well cared for. We would definitely recommend Peggy to others and will book her again for sure👍🏻👍🏻”

“J was terrific with our dog, Jackie. They took excellent care of her and sent regular updates and photos. We were so happy to have them stay in our home and not have to board our dog.”

About: I’ve been taking care of all types of animals for many years. I took specific courses in high school in how to care for a wide range of animals. I also worked at a pet boarding center taking care of both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own and would want someone who loves them like I do. I love all animals no matter the size, amount of hair, or amount of limbs! I’m currently working part time with a fluctuating schedule so in my free time I would love to help out those who need some extra attention for their furry friends, or not so furry. I have pet sit in my neighbors and friends houses all my life. Whatever is needed of me I can workout with owners to make them as comfortable as possible. Pets are incredibly important to all of us so making owners and pets comfortable is the top priority.

Tim was absolutely phenomenal, and I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter! Leaving Winnie Joy is never easy, but from the moment I left, I knew she and my home were in great hands. Tim was incredibly communicative throughout my trip, sending thoughtful updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. It was obvious that Winnie Joy was loved and well cared for while I was away. She looked happy, relaxed, and completely herself when I got home, which says everything about the care and attention Tim gave her. He didn't just meet her basic needs he genuinely spent time with her and made sure she felt comfortable and loved. Tim also took exceptional care of my home. Everything was spotless, organized, and exactly as I had left it. It's such a relief to come home to a happy dog and a well-cared-for house after traveling. What impressed me most was Tim's reliability, kindness, and professionalism. He treated both my home and Winnie Joy with genuine care and respect, and I never once had to worry while I was gone. Finding someone you trust with both your pet and your home is priceless, and Tim exceeded every expectation. I would happily book Tim again without a second thought and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable house sitter. Thank you, Tim, for taking such wonderful care of Winnie Joy and my home. You truly made my trip stress-free! 🐾❤️

Symone: house sat for us and was a great companion to our aging lab (Buddy) and managed to maintain our house, pool and keep our plants alive in the Texas heat. She sent pictures and videos every day staying in touch, walking and playing with Buddy. I would highly recommend her and hire her again.
Awesome!! Highly recommend!! Claire house sat for us and took care of our 3 dogs while we took a long, much needed vacation. We were apprehensive having someone we didn't know stay at the house and care for our pups but our fears were unfounded. She was able to help us out on short notice and during 4th of July. She showed on time for our first meeting and was early on the day we left. Communication was excellent and she sent photos twice a day. This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't be happier with the decision. Thank you Claire.
Allison did a great job staying with and caring for our 9 yr old miniature Australian shepherd, Daxter! She started out very responsive to all of our communications and continued our conversations throughout her stay. We got daily pictures of all the fun they were having and asked great questions to further help the comfort of Daxter. She left our home in excellent condition and we were happy to find our baby boy in great shape and anxiety free. We’d definitely recommend her to others and hire her again in the future!

This is the second time we booked Kaylie to take care of our Beagle puppy Belle. It was very comforting to see Belle was so happy when she saw Kaylie. Kaylie is a great puppy sitter and we plan to have her take care of of our puppy again. We highly recommend Ksylie!

Loanne and John were nothing but amazing! They sent multiple daily updates and pictures, and provided the best care to our two pups. One of our pups is going through some sleep issues and they were so patient with him and his needs. We felt so comfortable and at ease while we were away and are so thankful we found them!! We will definitely use their services again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Bedford on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 5,191 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bedford. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bedford walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bedford maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bedford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
