About: Last minute requests accepted. Current ranch-hand and wrangler of two years, former dog groomer who grew up with every animal from your dogs and cats to horses to camels, sheep, goats, kangaroos, to birds and reptiles. I have worked with anyone from the the skiddish cat in the corner afraid of a leaf to the hard headed stallion fighting to be with the closest mare, so I’m very familiar with and confident in both anxious and strong willed personalities! I grew up horseback riding and helped my family a lot growing up with pet sitting as well, and with my experience dog grooming, am confident I can keep your family member as safe and comfortable as possible with their loved one away. Most people describe me as gentle, studious, and deeply attentive. As a former groomer I know how to deal with anxious dogs through the terrifying stages of grooming keeping them as comfortable as possible, through bathing, drying, and cutting fur professionally, even on animals who did not want to be there at all - I picked up a lot of skills in how to calm dogs in those states. I have experience in cats as well, having owned, raised, rescued, traveled with, and being a cat person myself, I’m familiar with both skiddish and aggressive cats and love all. I am happy to bring all that I’ve learned from my experiences now as I join Rover! When I’m in between seasonal ranchwork, I am available generally anytime for housesits, so last minute requests are welcome and accepted! I totally understand needing to be out of town for emergencies, much needed holidays, and among the plethora of twists and turns life offers us, and for that I am more than willing to help. I do primarily housesitting stays, and I can accommodate for most needs in house. Can administer oral medication as needed, can help train or keep up with tricks, and can bring pets to vet in case of emergency. Communicate your needs and I’ll be happy to work with you on them!

We currently have a large dog named Peach (one of many mixed breeds we've owned) and an Aussie-Doodle puppy! We are more familiar with different personalities and traits. Our two kids (ages 6 and 4) will likely be with me during drop-ins. My husband will be home while hosting your pet, but as he has a job outside the home, I will be providing full-time care. Trusting us for your pet needs, you will find peace in knowing that your beloved furbabies are in safe, loving hands. You will receive detailed updates and pictures every day of boarding, and we will always respect yours and your pets' boundaries. When boarding: Immediately after we wake up for the day, I will feed each dog separately (unless from the same from the same family and you prefer them to eat together.) I will then take all the dogs out to our huge backyard to potty and play. When the weather is nice, we leave the door open all day so we and all dogs can all come in and out as we please. No dog will be unsupervised! Bedtime is whenever the pups want and we offer lots of blankets, our couch, and our bedrooms for sleeping. We are pet lovers ourselves and know how anxious we can get when leaving our pets with someone new. You will find that you've made the right choice by trusting our family.

About: I have 4 years of pet shelter experience where I would walk dogs of all sizes, care for them, and play with them, along with other cleaning tasks. One thing about me is that I have lots of energy and endurance to play with and run with dogs. I also have cat experience where I would care for and play with the cats at the shelter. I have experience living with a dog and cat, as well as young puppy experience. I also have been dog sitting for friends and family friends throughout mv lifetime. I’m currently working part-time from home, where I can pick my own hours, so I can dog/cat sit whenever you are in need! About: Hi there! My name is Ashley and I'm a HUGE dog and cat lover. I primarily pet-sit in Texas and NYC (occasionally in Virginia). A bit more about me: I rescued, fostered, and adopted 10+ feral kittens to their forever homes during the pandemic on my own. I also had and trained two big furry babies back in Texas named Bentley (German-Shepard/Collie Mix, 75lbs) and Poppy (Golden Retriever, 85lbs) before they passed the rainbow bridge. My purpose: I am looking to give our four-legged besties some love while helping other fur parents feel comfortable about not being with them. I'm familiar with taking care of different types of breeds, sizes, ages, and medical conditions (giving IV fluids, diabetes shots, oral pills, etc.). I will treat your precious baby with love and care and will make sure everyone has a great time! I know how scary it can be leaving your baby under someone else's care but I hope to eliminate that fear as I send many updates with pictures to keep you impressed and reassured. I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby soon! Tell me about your baby's usual daily schedule and we can adjust as needed! Most of the time my schedule tends to be flexible so we should not have an issue. Give me a list of your daily routines and norms! Let me know the little details/their habits (like they scratch the floor because they want more food or you know something is wrong if they don't eat their chicken because they never say no to chicken). Show me where everything is and who to call if something were to ever happen (but hopefully I never have to use the emergency number/emergency vet!). I'll make sure to read any instructions you give me multiple times and ask if I think anything is missing!

About: Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm going this as a side hustle to get a down payment for a house for my husband and myself. I would love to walk your dog and/or love your cat! I love my morning walks and going with a furry friend would make it all the better! I've grown up with dogs and cats in the family for over 20 years of my life. I grew up with a black lab/Australian shepherd mix and a black lab/Chao mix, and have had several other breeds of dogs since then. I've raised many breeds of cats over the years, even some from birth. I've seen several litters being born and have bottle fed runt puppies and kittens back to health. I have always kept them healthy and loved! I am glad to stay in good communication with you to provide all the support you and your furry loved one needs. I go on a daily morning walk as often as I can, so having a furry walking or running buddy would only add joy to the start of my day! I work in the afternoons and evenings so walks will need to be before 12pm. For walking, I can walk or run with your pet for whatever best suites their needs. For home sitting, I can take your furry family member out as often as they need for restroom breaks or walks or just some fresh air.

About: I have had numerous animals since I was young, I have animal sat for cats dogs and even snakes, I did check ins, walks and grooming as well! I’m currently in college full time, so my schedule can vary, but I’m good at planning ahead and making time for pet care. I honestly enjoy spending my free time with animals because it’s a great way for me to relax and destress from school. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel comfortable and safe while I’m with them. About: Hi my name is Laurel, but I go by my middle name Paige. In my home I have 2 dogs, 1 turtle and 1 fish. I have been a dog mom since I was in the 2nd grade and my parents surprised me with a miniature poodle for Christmas. Since then, there hasn't been a time I didn't hear the pitter-patter of four little paws, or more, in my home. One of the best feelings is coming home and being greeted with a wagging tail and lots of kisses. No matter how bad a day is, love from a dog will warm your heart and our love to them warms theirs as well. I don't view dogs as pets, they're part of the family. They need love, attention and lots of hugs. When you're drawn away from your home whether it be work, vacation or a family emergency it's good to have someone you know will love on your babies until you're home. Will they miss you? Absolutely! Will they still get love and attention during your absence? Absolutely! You can't always be home, but you can always have someone you trust to treat your fur babies as their own. I work full-time in a hospital 7a-3:30p M-F. I am able to come by before work if needed and of course after I get off. I am also able to stay overnight in your home, if you so choose. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I am a dependable, trustworthy, clean, and nonsmoker dog-loving girl. I will treat your fur babies as my own, following the guidelines you set. I will treat your home with respect whether I am there for a few hours or overnight. I will make sure I have your veterinarian's information as well as your information should any emergency arise.
