Rocky was the perfect match for our butters! Since she’s our first dog walker she did an extra meet and greet with us which was greatly appreciated. She showed up on time every day and made butter’s day. As a dog owner herself, she was super comfortable with some loud barks at meet and greet and on walks. I can not say enough good things about her, we will be using her again!!

About: Having grown up around many animals caring for them has always been second nature to me. As a pet sitter, I understand how deeply cared for each pet is and how valuable peace of mine while you’re away is. I treat every dog or cat like my own, with gentle love and respect and am committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for pet and pet parents. I have experience with care for older dogs such as changing diapers and administering routine medication. Additionally I have experience with basic potty training and care for puppies. I have cared for cats ranging from young kittens to adults in groups as large as 7 cats at a time. I’m currently taking a couple summer classes but am otherwise free everyday of the week. I will be in the DFW area until mid august. I am available for drop in from 8 am to 4:30pm. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and have to administer medicine for one on a daily basis. I love to play and hang out with them depending on what they most enjoy. If there are special instructions you would like me to follow, please provide a list and I would be happy to comply.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old and have experience with both small and large breeds. Growing up, I was responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, and giving my family dogs plenty of love and attention. For the past 5 years, I've also helped care for a Golden Retriever and a mixed-breed dog at my parents' home. I currently live with a Husky and make sure he's fed, exercised, and taken outside every couple of hours. I'm dependable, patient, and understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, or companionship, I'll care for them like they're my own! I work in an office Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and work remotely on Fridays, giving me extra flexibility. I'm available for morning, evening, weekend, and Friday visits, walks, and drop-ins. I'll always communicate clearly, arrive on time, and make sure your pet receives the care, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. If these times don’t work, just shoot me a message and we can try to work something out! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and any special routines. I'll provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same care I give my own dogs.

Madeline was great. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with our dog and Rover- she was way more sliding than we expected. Regardless, Madeline kept in communication and made our sweet girl as comfortable as possible. Obviously I wish our dog wasn’t as nervous to new people, but I would trust her for any future bookings!

About: Before moving to DFW, I served as a regular cat sitter for my neighbors and was the exclusive dog sitter for several families who trusted me with their pets whenever they traveled. Through these experiences, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities and needs, providing reliable, attentive care and plenty of love along the way. As a cat owner myself, I understand the importance of keeping pets happy, comfortable, and safe in their own environment. As a teacher on summer break, I have extra time to dedicate to your pets and can provide flexible scheduling throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a walk, feeding, playtime, or companionship, I can work with your pet’s routine to ensure they receive consistent care and attention. I will care for your pets as if they were my own by maintaining their normal routine and providing plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and any medications as directed. For cats, I will provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, and affection based on their comfort level. I understand that every pet is unique, so I will follow your instructions closely to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are well cared for.

About: I've loved animals my entire life and have spent years caring for family dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, energy level, and comfort zone, and I take the time to earn their trust instead of forcing interactions. As a former college instructor, patience is one of my biggest strengths. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, giving medications when needed, keeping feeding schedules, and making sure pets get the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve. Whether your dog wants a long walk, a game of fetch, or just someone to sit quietly beside them, I'll make sure they feel safe and cared for while you're away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care throughout the week. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I can often accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I do my best to match the schedule they're already used to. Your pet's safety always comes first. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and house rules, and I make sure pets are secure before opening doors or leaving the home. I pay close attention to changes in behavior so I can catch problems early and communicate with you promptly. I also know that leaving a pet with someone new can be stressful for both you and your animal. My goal is to provide calm, reliable care so you can travel with confidence, knowing your pet is being treated like a member of my own family.

About: Hi, I’m Nikela! I’m a pet loving flight attendant that is also a reliable sitter who understands how nerve wracking it can be to leave your furry family with someone new. I recently adopted my own puppy that is here with me in Texas and grew up with our family dog back in Ohio, who is now 13 years old. I’ve experienced everything from puppy teething and crate training to slow senior strolls and joint supplements. My care style is patient, observant, and safety focused. I pay attention to behavior cues, feeding schedules, enrichment, potty routines, and any training reinforcement you’re working on. Whether your dog thrives on structured play, couch cuddles, enrichment activities, or calm companionship, I will adapt to their vibe. 🐾 Services • Drop-In Visits potty breaks, feeding, play, or check-ins • Dog Walking • House Sitting • Doggy Daycare 💙 Experience & Comfort Zones • Puppies & crate schedules • Small–medium/large dogs • Senior dog pacing & needs • Positive reinforcement • Medication reminders (non-injection) • Enrichment & mental stimulation • Routine consistency & structure 🐱 Cats? I can care for cats too! I’m mildly allergic, so drop-ins work best (feeding, litter, enrichment, meds non-injection). Cats tend to approve of me, and I approve of their mysterious little personalities. 📸 Communication You’ll receive: • Photos + videos • Honest updates • Notes on behavior, mood, potty, and eating No wondering, no radio silence — you’ll know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are the priority here. The goal is for them to feel loved, understood, and cared for until you’re back home. Can’t wait to meet your furry sidekick! 🐾 My schedule is a mix being a flight attendant, but the days I am available I will be available the full day to dedicate time to your baby. I provide a clean, safe, and structured environment so your pet can relax and feel at home. I have a fenced back patio but I’m comfortable using crates if your dog is crate trained or needs downtime. I follow your care instructions closely to maintain your pet’s usual routine with feeding, walks, medications, and cuddle quotas. My goal is to keep things stress-free and predictable so your pet feels secure while they’re with me.

On time, reliable and trustworthy. These are the things I want from anyone who is dealing with me & my household. I live near Houston, but I was leaving my dog with my son in Ft Worth while I was out of town for a month. Since I’m retired, my dog is not used to being alone for 8-10 hours a day so having Karen walk her in the mornings was perfect. I looked forward to the daily updates and pictures. Seeing my dog happy and tired definitely made me know I hired the right person. I would highly recommend Karen as a dog walker. I just wish she lived near me!

  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
