About: I have helped my family take care of animals since I was twelve years old. We foster animals through the Humane Society of North Texas and have helped numerous animals recover, grow, and get adopted. I have fostered with my family for close to nine years now, which includes experience with bottle babies (kittens and puppies), full grown dogs and cats, and even a pregnant guinea pig. I have taken care of neighbor's pets before and my family's dogs as well. I am a college student off for summer break and have plenty of extra time to look after precious animals! I will be available to provide care for any pet(s). I will stick to whatever routine you have set for your animal(s). Whether they are indoor/outdoor or need to be crated and let out occasionally, I am flexible. I am also comfortable with animals of any size, and I have dealt with a lot of dogs with varying temperaments.

About: 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and 15 years caring for cats in both personal and family settings. Skilled in daily walks, exercise routines, feeding schedules, administering basic care, playtime, companionship, and providing a safe, loving environment for pets of all sizes and temperaments. Experienced with energetic puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, and understanding animal behavior and comfort needs. Dedicated to reliable, compassionate, full-service pet care with a true lifelong passion for animals. Pet care is already part of my everyday life. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, medication needs, and making sure every pet gets personal attention, comfort, and consistency throughout the day. I care for every pet like they are my own by keeping a clean, calm, and safe environment. In clients’ homes, I follow all instructions carefully, maintain routines, secure doors and gates, and make sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away.
“Madison is top tier from all aspects!! I was nervous to leave my pup for her first alone day & Madison made me feel at ease by giving her some mid day love, sending me photos of my baby, and giving a report! We appreciate her and recommend her 10/10!!!”

“Stella has been great with our dog, Remy! Remy took to her right away. We appreciate how communicative Stella has been in our weekly walks and we know Remy is in great hands.”

“Elizabeth is fantastic with my dog! She makes sure he gets the time outside that he loves and also pays attention to his energy level as a senior dog and spends time with him as per his needs and preferences. Walking, sitting outside on the patio, and giving him all the snuggles. I feel confident my dog, Petie is getting all the TLC he deserves when Elizabeth is caring for him. Thank you, Elizabeth for giving me this peace of mind! Highly recommend!”

About: Growing up in the country, taking care of the many, many animals we had was one of the first lessons of responsibility I learned. In the past few years, I have begun pet-sitting for friends, family members, and set clients "semi-professionally"; now in graduate school and living in downtown Fort Worth, I am ready to pet sit again for the Summer! I have pet sat dogs ranging in size (and energy) from Maltese to Malinois - having a great time with every single one! I am also a PRO at giving medications, as I have had to administer my own family pets' over the years! I work a part-time job a few times a week, but other than that am available the vast majority of the time to check-in on, or visit with, your loved one! I am very big on leaving things as I have found them and not intruding on the things which I am not welcome - therefore, the level of service I give is very effective and pet-oriented. I prioritize that which is needed of me, including the pet's needs/requirements, without any nosiness or judgement. Also, as this is essentially one's child, I take that responsibility VERY seriously - prioritizing their safety and well-being. Ideally, making them comfortable and trusting of me is the first thing I like to do with them, as I completely understand their skepticism regarding a stranger entering their space!

“Marisol was great. My dog was in great spirits when I got home from work which means I know he had fun with Marisol. She was great with quick communication. She came recommended to a friend and I would like to recommend her to others!”

“Alex was such a thoughtful dog walker for my pup. He even offered to stay after the walk because my dog was being stubborn about his crate! Could not recommend enough!”

“My dog took to her immediately so that was a great sign when we first had the meet and greet. I am so grateful I chose Moshera, she has been the absolute best at walking Moon and following every instruction for my picky fur child. I feel a huge burden off my shoulders knowing my pup is in caring hands and gets some exercise while I’m away at work for extended hours. I would recommend her to anyone in my neighborhood!”

“Ella is so sweet and after meeting her I immediately felt confident with her helping take care of my senior dog. I came home and Petie was happy. She shared photos of their walk and maintained his schedule and our routine. I will definitely use Ella again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Worth
We can’t recommend him enough! He took such amazing care of our two dogs, Sunny and Hutch, and treated them like they were his own. From walks and playtime to regular updates and photos, it was obvious how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. Knowing Sunny and Hutch were in such great hands gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and truly passionate about caring for dogs, he is the one to book. We’re so thankful for the wonderful care he gave Sunny and Hutch, and we will absolutely be using him again!
Ashley was punctual, understanding, and someone I completely trusted walking my golden retrievers. Maya, my oldest, tends to be slow and tire out but I felt safe knowing Ashley could gauge her limits. By the end, both of my dogs were eager and excited to see her which made me feel that much better.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
