I have experience with special needs dogs; I am a dog mom to a fully blind dog and understand the patience that special needs dogs require. I have owned dogs and cats my entire life and I currently volunteer for Humane Society of North Texas. In my previous career, I worked for over six years as a pet groomer. Previous to that, I worked as a kennel assistant at an animal hospital. My experiences grooming and working at an animal hospital provided me with hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I truly love animals and the happiness, health, and safety of your pet is my top priority! I currently have three fur babies of my own, two rescue dogs, Bear, Huck, who is blind, and one rescue cat, Penny Lane. I admit to having a soft spot for senior pets! I have my own pet sitter insurance for everyone's peace of mind. I believe in frequent communication with you about how your pet is doing in my care, so you always feel reassured that your fur baby is safe and in capable, loving hands. Each new visit I will ask you about your pet's favorite hiding spots and daily routine, any anxieties or health issues they may have, or any dietary restrictions. The more I know about your pet, the better I can provide the safest possible visit. I do not use shock collars or flexi leashes, and am happy to provide my own leash in place of a flexi leash.

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting for over 4 years, starting when I was 15. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while building trust with their families. I’m in college part time and working part time but I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m pretty easy and I like to do weekends and overnight stays if necessary (I’m huge on cuddles). I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so i am capable of taking care, bathing, feeding and playing with pets. Im currently in college, so i have an open availability on when i can take care of pets. I’m available day and night Monday through Friday. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs who can keep your pet company! They can sleep on the bed with me or on a bed on the floor. I have my water and food bowl always filled and i’m able to keep a schedule if your pet follows one. I can also bathe and groom your pet if requested!

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and we always had more than one dog at a time. I have spent nearly 2 decades helping to care for other people’s pets and would love to help you! I have a pretty flexible work schedule so I can duck out for a walk in the middle of the day or stop by morning or evening. During check-ins, I observe eating, drinking, and litter box habits, note any changes in mood or movement, and do a quick visual scan for anything out of the ordinary, eyes, coat, breathing, posture. Cats especially are good at hiding when something’s wrong, so I pay close attention even when everything looks fine. In an emergency, I don’t wait. If I notice anything concerning, sudden lethargy, labored breathing, injury, refusal to eat, or anything that feels wrong, I contact you immediately. I keep your preferred vet’s information on file for every pet in my care, and I’m familiar with local emergency vet options as a backup. Your pet’s safety always comes before anything else, and you’ll never be the last to know. You’ll receive photo updates and honest check-in notes throughout every visit, not just a thumbs up, but specific observations so you always know how your pet is really doing. About: I’ve had pets all my life, but as I’ve gotten older and retired, I really wish I would have had more time to spend with my past pups. I’m home now and love dogs around and feel horrible when they are stuck in cages. I’ll come walk for you everyday even on weekends. Lots of love, especially old or needy. I will keep on my lap all day. That’s why I can only accept 2 at a time.
