I treat your pets like family!
I know that your pet is family and I will provide your beloved family members with the same love, attention, and care that I provide for my own animals. I have experience with special needs dogs; I am a dog mom to a fully blind dog and understand the patience that special needs dogs require. I have owned dogs and cats my entire life and I currently volunteer for Humane Society of North Texas. In my previous career, I worked for over six years as a pet groomer. Previous to that, I worked as a kennel assistant at an animal hospital. My experiences grooming and working at an animal hospital provided me with hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I truly love animals and the happiness, health, and safety of your pet is my top priority! I currently have three fur babies of my own, two rescue dogs, Bear, Huck, who is blind, and one rescue cat, Penny Lane. I admit to having a soft spot for senior pets!

Safety, trust & environment
The safety, health, and happiness of your pet is my top priority. I have my own pet sitter insurance for everyone's peace of mind. I believe in frequent communication with you about how your pet is doing in my care, so you always feel reassured that your fur baby is safe and in capable, loving hands. Each new visit I will ask you about your pet's favorite hiding spots and daily routine, any anxieties or health issues they may have, or any dietary restrictions. The more I know about your pet, the better I can provide the safest possible visit. I do not use shock collars or flexi leashes, and am happy to provide my own leash in place of a flexi leash.

Chelsea did a great job looking after our dogs. She kept us updated daily and sent us pictures of everyone having a good time. She went above and beyond, making sure they were entertained and cleaned up after them.
Chelsea is the BEST sitter you could ever dream of. She truly loves your pets like her own! It’s always scary leaving your dog with someone other than yourself, but anytime Chelsea was taking care of Ollie (whether it was a full weekend or a check in) I never once worried & was able to go out of town & was so assured that Ollie was having the best time of his life with her! She sends tons of pictures & updates & truly follows exactly what you ask of her. She is very dependable and the best dog sitter Ollie has ever had!!! Super grateful for her & Rover!
Chelsea was wonderful to my dogs! Everything she did gs e me comfort that the dogs were well taken care of while I was out of town. Will definitely use her in the future. Actually already rebooked!

Schedule
I am currently a full time graduate school student, studying for my MSW online. Most of my school work is done online, so this allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am able to visit your pet throughout the day, or stay in your home so your furry family member can have my full attention.

- I am currently only comfortable caring for dogs under 100 lbs. I also sit for cats, and am open to sitting for other small critters, such as guinea pigs. I only sit for spayed and neutered dogs and cats. All pets must be vaccinated for rabies (it is a state law). I must know any health or behavioral conditions your pets may have. If they are on medication, I will need to know dosages and how it is administered. I prefer that you show me how you administer your pet's medication so I can be sure they are as comfortable as possible! I also would like your vet's phone number and one to two local emergency contacts.
