About: Animals have a special place in my heart, and I believe every pet deserves care that reflects their individual personality, routine, and needs. While I’m new to offering pet care professionally through Rover, I have years of hands-on experience caring for my own dogs as well as dogs and cats belonging to friends. I’ve had my current rescue, Toby, a Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix, for almost two years, and I previously had another pit bull mix, rescue dog. Because Toby is an intelligent, high energy working breed mix, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about canine behavior, training, enrichment, and the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. We regularly work on training, play, walks, and activities designed to keep him engaged and happy. I’m also very attentive to nutrition and overall well-being and even prepare Toby’s homemade food myself. Most importantly, I understand that every animal is different. Some dogs need lots of activity and interaction, while others are happiest with a quiet walk and companionship. Cats have their own personalities and preferences, too! I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether I’m walking your dog, caring for your pets while you’re away, or staying in your home with them, I’ll care for them with the same attentiveness and kindness I would want someone to give my own. I’m a real estate agent building my business, and I also believe in creating multiple streams of income. Combining my love for animals with a small pet-care business felt like a natural fit! Real estate gives me a great deal of control over my schedule, so I have plenty of flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and each pet’s individual routine. My own dog requires plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation, so I already dedicate a few hours of my day to pet care. I would love to use that flexibility to serve other families, whether you need an extra hand during a busy week or someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re out of town. I also work from home much of the time, which means pets in my care can receive lots of love, attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, and my dog, Toby, is well socialized and enjoys the company of other dogs. Our normal routine includes neighborhood walks, trail walks, plenty of playtime, and occasional trips to the dog park. I completely understand that not every pet parent is comfortable with dog parks, so I will always respect your preferences and follow the routine and activities that are best for your dog. I’m also comfortable with crate-trained dogs and can easily maintain your dog’s normal crating routine if needed. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home while in my care.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, I also had a dog (Ebony) for 11 years. My grandfather has multiple dogs and cats living with him at any given time, he likes to take in strays, and I help with them too. When I pet sit I enjoy seeing their different personalities. Some are calmer than others and more laid back while others love to run free. I love to take them on walks, and see the different things that cause them to pause and look. Some animals want to stop at everything they see but some are on a very specific mission. 😂 I have experience giving animals medication, and also dealing with animals that have trust issues. I have a calm presence that causes even the most guarded animals to open up. I will make sure your animals are well taken care of and enjoy their time. I want to create a space of joy and peace for every animal I meet, because they deserve nothing less. I currently have an open schedule so I’m available anytime. And in an emergency I know to always Stay calm, contact the parents and/or vet ASAP, and transport the pet safely if needed.

About: I’ve been in a home with pets my entire life. I started taking on their responsibilities at just 5 years old and fell in love with it. Pets are so important to us so it’s my top priority to make sure your pet is healthy and happy while in my care. I’m currently unemployed so my free time is basically infinite. I have 3 pets of my own who harbor a bit of my time, but I made a set schedule that works for all of them. I’m always free for walks, treats, and cuddles! I live less than 50 feet from a beautiful dog park with equipment for your pet to enjoy. There is never any children in my home and visitors are rare and well trusted. I own extra crates for your pet if needed and there are over 50 toys in my possession for your furry friend.

About: Hi there! My name is Ashley and I'm a HUGE dog and cat lover. I primarily pet-sit in Texas and NYC (occasionally in Virginia). A bit more about me: I rescued, fostered, and adopted 10+ feral kittens to their forever homes during the pandemic on my own. I also had and trained two big furry babies back in Texas named Bentley (German-Shepard/Collie Mix, 75lbs) and Poppy (Golden Retriever, 85lbs) before they passed the rainbow bridge. My purpose: I am looking to give our four-legged besties some love while helping other fur parents feel comfortable about not being with them. I'm familiar with taking care of different types of breeds, sizes, ages, and medical conditions (giving IV fluids, diabetes shots, oral pills, etc.). I will treat your precious baby with love and care and will make sure everyone has a great time! I know how scary it can be leaving your baby under someone else's care but I hope to eliminate that fear as I send many updates with pictures to keep you impressed and reassured. I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby soon! Tell me about your baby's usual daily schedule and we can adjust as needed! Most of the time my schedule tends to be flexible so we should not have an issue. Give me a list of your daily routines and norms! Let me know the little details/their habits (like they scratch the floor because they want more food or you know something is wrong if they don't eat their chicken because they never say no to chicken). Show me where everything is and who to call if something were to ever happen (but hopefully I never have to use the emergency number/emergency vet!). I'll make sure to read any instructions you give me multiple times and ask if I think anything is missing!

About: I have grew up with dogs since 5th grade having 10 dogs at once! I currently work at a pet resort for 4yrs handling the more reactive ones, so I’m not afraid of being around them. Having my own reactive dog to dog boy has helped me in this topic as well. But the calm walkers are no biggie either! I am full time Thurs-Sun so those days will be unavailable. I can currently do Mondays-Wednesdays at anytime (preferably mornings or evenings because of summer heat). I’d would like to do pick ups and drop offs the best way at your driveway in timely manner, my yard is not fenced and my own dog won’t allow others inside. Not planning on bringing your pup to my home, just wanting a stroll!

About: I love animals of all shapes and sizes. Currently I have 3 dogs of my own who don’t live with me. I have taken care of newborn puppies up until 8 weeks. I have experience with a variety of different pet breeds. Your pets are in good hands! I have a part-time job and am a full time student at college but I have plenty of time to go for walks or to pets sit at any home and will be most available during the months of May-August! In my apartment complex we have a special dog friendly area that is fenced. There will be me and another resident in the apartment and can expect to be home the majority of the day. I have no problem answering any questions or concern!
