About: I’ve been around animals all my life. My mom started a pet sitting business when I was a teenager and I often helped with visits. My first job in high school was in a pet grooming salon where I learned how to bathe and later groom. I paid my way through college as a groomer working at a vet and also an animal behaviorist/trainer. I helped them out in my downtime with training and in the boarding area. I also spend my free time working with animal rescue groups and also photographing cats and dogs. I love animals so much and live with my two senior rescue pets, one of which has diabetes, so I’m no stranger to giving medication. I work a flexible, remote, work from home schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry family members during the times requested. I care for pets in my client’s homes in the manner they request. If they’d prefer their pets crated when I leave, I can do so, I’m also comfortable leaving them out in the house when I leave. I always scan the area to make sure there is nothing they’ve gotten into that can harm them. I am not comfortable leaving pets in the yard when I’m not present unless there is a dog door (and it’s not around a fireworks holiday).

About: I have had a dog since I can remember, so I consider myself someone with 40 years experience in pet care, 24 of those years as an adult. I’ve also taken care of cats of all ages, from 6 weeks to 21 years old (that cat had CKD and I extended his life by 2 years with proper care). I can also handle small pet care for hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats as I’ve owned them as well. I love animals with all my heart and strive to spend as much of my day with my own pets as possible. I want to provide that love and care to your pet as well. I am available most afternoons for drop ins and dog walking. I can also sometimes do a late morning drop in/walk depending on what day it is. Overnight stays can be scheduled ahead of time and I would do that in your home to provide your pet the most comfort possible. If you provide instructions, I’ll do my best to follow them to the letter. It’s important for you to know that you can rely on me and I strive to provide that sense of relief to my clients.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was little. I’ve always loved being around them!! This started out as something fun & quickly grew into one of my greatest passions. I’m currently in school online. My free time is used up by baking, cooking, or walking. I am left with plenty of free time so what better way to use it than to take fur babies on walks!! I think of our pets as humans. They’re loving, supportive, funny animals. All they show is love so why not show it back. 🐾 💕🐾 💕🐾

About: I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets. I have had pets in each of these categories my whole life, and I would love to help take care of your buddy! I am a law student, so my classes are my priority. I am free weekends, and during the weekdays I have class to work around. I have multiple green spaces at my apartment or near my apartment. I would love to take dogs on walks around LSU’s campus or for a trip to the dog park. I have a spacious apartment with lots of free space for playing. I keep dog toys and supplies at my apartment for animal visits. If you have a cat we have scratching posts, toys, and plenty of supervised playing space. Our home is animal-proofed as well!

About: I’ve had a dog continuously in my life since before I can remember my first pet was a Chihuahua and his name was puppy. Not very original name! I love volunteering at animal shelters, which is probably why I have three dogs in my house! I recently retired from a crisis Pregnancy Center so I have plenty of free time right now and intend to do activities with all breeds and sizes of pups I do have a fenced yard and two dogs that can play fetch the ball for hours! We love to take walks in the neighborhood where we meet lots of other fur babies.

About: I have had cats as pets my whole life and dogs as an adult. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years to dogs from puppies to seniors. Times have ranged from weekends to a month. I started fostering kittens when covid hit. I have found joy in caring for animals with all their different personalities. I have become experienced in all things kittens : bottle feeding , tube feeding administering medicine (my neighbor will even call me to give her pets pills) flea baths ringworm baths, brushing teeth you name it . I have even had to help kittens cross the rainbow bridge. It has been bitter sweet , but the love they give is more then enough. All animals deserve the best treatment and love we can give them I have been in education for 34 years teaching art and an administrator for the Fine Arts Department. I am retired now and have a lot of free time to spend with my favorite animals. I have found pet sitting and fostering to be very rewarding and someday would like to start my own fostering service. I have recently started rehabbing opossums, which is quite fun and much different than our tamer than our average 4 legged friends My job is flexible enough that i can leave for lunch and take care of your pets in the middle of the day as well. I can also work from your home if you are looking for somebody to be home with your fur baby for a set amount of hours each day (e.g. new puppy, recovering pet, etc). Growing up in a multi-pet household means that I have experience from a young age bonding with and taking care of pets. I started to do extended overnight pet sitting when I was a college student back in 2010. I have pet sat for both single and multi-pet households. I have experience sitting for puppies and kittens, high energy pets, seniors, and pets with special needs. About: While most of my personal pet-care experience is with cats, I’m also comfortable caring for friendly dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and routines. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I will carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other needs. About: I am very picky when it comes to the care of my dogs. They have a specific routine and eating schedule. They are my babies and I care for them as I would care for myself. I will absolutely make sure to do the same for your fur babies as well. I am dedicated to making other owners feel safe just the same as I need when I have to be away from my babies. I work remotely part time and can be available for full time care. I have cameras that I monitor our home. We enjoy going on long walks in the morning and in the evening when the sun begins setting in the heat of summer. In the cooler (not cold or freezing weather) seasons, we go on a mid-day walk and on the really pretty days we love to go for as many walks or adventures that we can. My babies usually get 2-4 20 to 30 minute walks per day, more activity outdoor time with beautiful weather. I have 2 dogs at home that eat, walk, play and relax on a routine. I have a safe and secure fenced in yard, but it is small. There is a dog park around the corner and lots of walking trails. I take my dogs on "adventures" and they do have seat belts to keep them safe in the car. Your pets would be a part of our family and I would have them on a similar schedule unless directed to do something different by you. I work less than a mile from my home and have cameras all over my house. I am able to be home within 5 minutes or less if needed when I am away. Walks, outside & play time are very dependent on the weather. We don't go outside in lightning at all or if it is raining weather we only go out back for potty breaks and I look at weather apps multiple times a day because I do have a sweet girl that does not handle storms well at all. We have a dog park in the neighborhood and great walking trails. We go on long adventures as much as possible as long as it is not too hot or cold. Paw pad inspections are done with my bare feet on the concreate before my babies are allowed to walk. My sweet girl is older, so Leia is not able to handle the heat like Kylo. I am also very mindful of this. Your babies would be treated as if they were my babies unless there are other things you need me to do that I am currently not doing for my own.
