“Was very helpful accepting my request last minute. Came here for a meet and greet and was very curious about any potential trial issues my dog may have while out on walks. Was very good at communicating when she was coming and when she arrived and even saved me when I accidentally overlooked that she was booked for ongoing walks and a payment was submitted that should not have gone through. Highly recommended from this customer. Hard to find someone willing to take on the challenges of walking a large breed Cane Corso like mine.”

About: I am a mom to 3 human babies and 2 babies with paws! Our pets are an important part of our family and I will give yours the same love as my own. I have lived with animals my whole life and understand what it takes to keep them comfortable, healthy and safe. Enjoy your time away and I’ll make sure you come home to happy animals! I am a stay at home mom to 3 awesome kids which keeps my schedule very flexible! Aside from getting my daughter to and from school I have quite a bit of free time! I have a fenced yard but prefer to be outside with the dogs when they are out. I don’t have a doggy door because I prefer to keep my cat inside!

About: I’ve owned animals of many kinds since I was born, and been a primary caretaker since I was about 10! I’ve been trusted to care for animals of every age - from rambunctious puppies and kittens to seniors who need a little more patience - and every size, whether it be a giant dog or a fragile kitten. I understand the importance of individual care, so I am ready to learn all about your animals and adapt to their needs. Additionally, I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant and have experience with many basic care skills. I am familiar with routine care such as feeding routines, walking, bathing, and training. I have ample experience with oral, injectable, and topical medications, and can confidently administer first aid if necessary. Additionally, I am ready to slow down and give extra care to any senior or special needs animal who may need a little more attention. I hope to make every pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible while in my care, and will make sure to keep you updated with pictures! I currently don’t work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets. They can have my full attention, I can make frequent visits, or just drop by every once in a while, whatever works best! Saturdays I am not available for walks, but I am happy to sit through the weekend if needed! While I don’t offer sitting in my home due to my own dogs, I am confident I can adapt to whatever routine your animals are used to in your home. Whether they are high maintenance or totally chill, I am willing to provide whatever necessary to make sitting as stress-free as possible!

“Emily was a life-saver. I had to leave town rather quickly for 5 days and have two dogs. She was willing to take them 3 times a day for the 5 days and kept them fed and treated! She sent me picture updates and texted to let me know they were doing well, which I greatly appreciated. I could tell when I got back that, while they missed me, they had fun while I was gone. ”

About: As a lifelong dog and cat owner with four years of dedicated pet-sitting experience, I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to your pet's unique routine and personality. Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of real-world scenarios, from maintaining strict potty-training and crate schedules for energetic puppies to providing gentle, patient care for senior dogs who require frequent bathroom breaks and strict, time-sensitive medication administration. I love high-energy breeds that need structured exercise, but I am equally skilled with cats, sharing my home with a few of my own and confidently handling all types of feline behavior. Whether your cat is a clever escape artist requiring strict doorway vigilance, or a sassier kitty who tends to bite and scratch, I know how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and keep them safe and comfortable. When your pets are with me, you can rest easy knowing they are receiving the highest level of reliable, vigilant, and loving care. I work part-time as a barista, which gives me incredible flexibility throughout the day to dedicate to your pets. Because my schedule is adaptable, I can easily adjust my sleeping and waking hours to match whatever routine your animal needs. You won't have to worry about disrupted routines or missed doses. Whether I am caring for pets in my own home or yours, my primary goal is to provide a loving, calm, and predictable environment where they can truly thrive. I focus on creating a balanced routine that offers plenty of dedicated, high-energy playtime to burn off steam, paired with lots of peaceful downtime for them to rest and relax. I mirror their usual home environment as closely as possible to minimize anxiety, ensuring they feel completely safe, loved, and right at home.
“Thank you for helping us with a last-minute booking! You were so sweet with our fur babies, and we really appreciated your care and flexibility. Happily book again!”

I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works best for their pets! I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine in every visit. About: 🌴 WHO WILL HAVE A BETTER VACATION YOU OR YOUR PUP? 🚤 📸 Here at DOODS ON DOCKS they will have a great staycation on our beautiful lake property. Enjoy your vacation knowing your dog will be as happy as you are over the holidays or your time away. With my services you get what you pay for. Your dog is a family member. They are not left outside, or in a kennel. They're a part of our home. They sleep with us and do everything we do. I have 30 years experience working with dogs through volunteering and fostering thru the Humane Society and Rescues. I'm very dog savey and most dogs realize I am the pack leader and rely on me for that. I have clients that have senior dogs that require meds, and personal care. This is not a problem. What sets me apart from most pet sitters is that I go above and beyond for the pups. Someone is home 90% of the time. I have had clients that have been with me for many years. At my house you get what you pay for and more. It looks easy and fun on my part however, there’s alot that goes into it besides all the scooping….. Starting with reservations. I always have a free meet and greet. I consider all the dogs I will be having at that time to see if all my guests will enjoy their experience, and how I need to accommodate them. As they arrive, and while they’re here I still study each personality to see who can play together and who would rather just “stay out of it”. Since the dogs live in the house like my own pets, I want to make sure everyone is happy. No dog is crated or kenneled unless that is what the dog requires. There’s outside play time at least twice a day. Which might involve chasing a ball, squirrel, duck, or swimming in the lake, or lounging in the sun. If you need a staycation for your pet where they will come home exhausted and happy, let me know. 1. I can pick up and deliver your pup if needed for an extra fee. 2. I live on the lake. 3. I can also bath and do light grooming if needed including nails. 4. 📸 But the most important thing is that pictures and communication cell 📱 📞 with the pups parents are sent many times a day so that you know your dog is safe, and basically having a blast here at my house. We live on the lake so there's lots of room to run and play, however we do have a dog area with a doggie door so they can come and go. All dogs live inside with us and sleep in our room if they want to. My family works from home so someone is here most of the time. My personal dogs are use to having dogs visit us at home and it's never an issue. All dogs are treated like our own and loved. Their needs are always accommodated so that their parents can feel assured that they are well taken care of without any worries while they are gone. I have a doggie area that is large that the dogs can use with a doggie door. This area also has our hot tub so they often play outside or "talk" to us while we use the hot tub. I have a large back yard that the dogs can enjoy while we are there to supervise them. Dogs are not left unattended in the back yard. I live on a quiet one way street with neighbors only to the left and right of me. We all know each others dogs and can identify them.
About: I've had both dogs and cats since I was young. I have worked in vets, rescues, and animal shelters, and have experiences with animals of all ages. My schedule is currently completely open and available, so I am able to watch your pets any day of the week or weekend, at any time! I understand that pet owners know their pets better than anybody! So I follow the instructions exactly as they are given to me. I will give your animals the same love, attention, and care that I would want someone to give mine!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
