“Nick + Ashley have been great + my dog Oakley had a good time at their home while I was away. They have connected with me with photos of Oakley and advised that she was “at home” while staying with them which is wonderful to hear for a dog parent!”

“Selena y su familia cuidaron muy bien se Mika. Compartió fotos durante su estancia y respondía mensajes rápidamente. Estaremos dejando a Mika otra vez.”

“Destiny was so great with our pups. She allowed a meet and greet beforehand which was a must for us as this was our first time leaving our pups. She answered all my questions and I felt comfortable leaving my two pups with her. She sent pics daily. Communicated with me any time I’d ask how they were and my pups definitely were happy. Thank you Destiny for taking such great care of our pups!!”

“Very nice and caring sitter. It was our first time to leave our baby and Rhonda was very understanding and communicative. Will definitely use her again if the need arises!”

“Sabri was a fantastic sitter! She took great care of my little one and communicated with me everyday! Will definitely use her again. Thank you so very much!”

“First time I ever left my baby with someone I did not personally know and was beyond happy! She exceeded all my expectations and made the whole experience worry free. My little dog had a blast and is now going to be extra excited I go on vacation!”

“Sarah did an amazing job with Cooper. We were out of town for awhile and she sent pictures every day and kept me updated. She played with him quite a bit and was able to keep up with his high energy. Would definitely recommend Sarah!!”

“Melinda is awesome! She has a great setup and system for hosting and watching your dog. She is the pack leader in the house. She’s very responsive and flexible, and she takes and sends multiple updates/photos throughout the day. We got delayed coming home due to weather and she was very understanding and flexible to still allow us to get our dog at nearly 2AM vs the expected 10PM pickup.”

“Our plans were ruined but Kathy was extremely flexible. She has a beautiful home setup for dogs. My dogs absolutely loved her backyard. I feel extremely comfortable leaving my doggies with Kathy for any period of time.”

“Sierra & Lian took great care of Storm while we were away for a weekend. She loved running around in their big yard and playing with other dogs! She was so happy and so are we! We will definitely book again.”

“Megan was so awesome!!! Being an anxious puppy parent was something I never expected out of myself but Megan was so patient and treated my puppy as one of her own. I will definitely be using Megan and her daughter again !!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m comfortable caring for them through every stage from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive approach. I’m patient with puppy routines and understand the consistency they need, and I’m equally mindful of the extra care, gentleness, and awareness senior dogs require. I genuinely enjoy being active, so long walks, playtime, and making sure dogs get the exercise they need is something I prioritize. At the same time, I’m very in tune with each dog’s personality whether they’re high energy or more of a couch companion and I adjust my care to fit what makes them happiest and most comfortable. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m currently in school and working part-time, which allows me to be home the majority of the week and flexible with scheduling walks, feedings, and playtime. During the week we are available, and depending on the weekend, we are often available then as well. My husband works locally and can come home as needed, so there is consistent care and attention for the dogs throughout the day. Because of this, I’m able to provide a stable, attentive environment where pets aren’t left alone for long periods and can stick to their normal routines. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and comfort level, whether in my home or a client’s home. At my home, we have a fenced yard that allows for safe outdoor play and exercise, along with plenty of supervised time inside for rest and attention. I follow feeding schedules closely, keep water fresh, and make sure each dog gets the right balance of activity and downtime. I’m comfortable with crate routines if that’s what your dog is used to our own dog loves her crate but I also welcome dogs who prefer their own bed and a more relaxed setup. In a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent as possible with their normal routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, and any specific instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.
“Mary & Robert took great care of my baby! Received instant replies when I reached out to them & they were so accommodating to drop off & pick up. Will be contacting them in the future!”

“Victoria and Adam were the best! Lots of photos and updates during our boys' stay with them. They were excellent communicators and flexible when our trip plans changed a little at the end. Would absolutely let them watch our pups again! Thank you, guys, so much!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and couldn’t have picked a better person to watch our almost 2 year old pup. I am crazy about my dog and was hesitant to even do Rover but I am so happy we did. Monica offered to meet us before we committed which I really appreciated. She was great at staying in touch, giving updates, and sending pictures. We could tell our dog was very well cared for while we were out of town. She even gave our girl a goodie bag with treats when we picked her up. Highly recommend and trust Monica! Coco can’t wait for us to leave town again :)”

“Koda absolutely loves staying with Erica & Robert! They update us daily and we feel safe and comfortable with him in their care. We are so thankful for them!”

“Valarie was a wonderful sitter for my my dog Dallas had a wonderful time over there! She sent me videos and pictures during my dogs stay and made sure I was updated with how she was doing”

“Can’t begin to tell you how much we appreciate Julie watching over Bart and Bailey. It’s practically their seconds home judging how they react when we drive up. Today Julie went the extra mile when Mr. BART decided to get himself dirty. Thanks again Julie and we will be in touch soon. 🙂”

“Yogi had the best time! Rachel sent photos and videos of Yogi playing and having fun with her little ones. When we need a rover in the future, we will definitely use Rachel again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Worth
As someone in the vet med industry and as a helicopter mom when it comes to my furbabies, Daniel really put my worries to rest. Bruno usually goes on a hunger strike at normal boarding facilities but Daniel made sure he would never go hungry. My 2 kids are very energetic and are crazy (heeler and a mixed breed) but he was so kind and understanding and so patient with them. Made them feel right at home. Never skipped a beat as far as routine goes and followed the many directions to a T. My fiance and I are already planning on going to San Antonio later this year and Daniel will be on the top of our list when it comes to sitters. I again Daniel can't thank you enough for taking such great care of them and for putting up with their crazyiness 😂

OBESSEDDDD. Scooty Booty had the best time staying with Sierra and Liam! They were so responsive and their property is every dogs dream. They sent videos and pictures often and are so nice in person as well. I actually feel a little guilty for sending my dog to a kennel all this time when he could've been enjoying a big back yard and some 24/7 TLC this whole time!!!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
