Emily was a life-saver. I had to leave town rather quickly for 5 days and have two dogs. She was willing to take them 3 times a day for the 5 days and kept them fed and treated! She sent me picture updates and texted to let me know they were doing well, which I greatly appreciated. I could tell when I got back that, while they missed me, they had fun while I was gone.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 9 years and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I understand that every dog is different, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. 🐾💓 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and check-ins throughout the day since it’s currently summer. After summer, I will be Busy Mon-Fri Mornings, but will be able to work in the afternoons. I understand the importance of consistency and will do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. 🐾💗 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I have a fully fenced backyard & front yard that can be split. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any special care requirements. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and treated with patience and kindness. I understand how important trust is when leaving a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I will treat your furry family member as if they were my own. 🐶🐱💗

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I have developed a strong understanding of the daily responsibilities involved in caring for dogs and cats. From maintaining feeding schedules and exercise routines to providing companionship, basic grooming, and monitoring their health, I am dedicated to ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and well loved. I do work a full time job but everyone’s hours are getting cut so I decided to give this a shot. I try to be as flexible as possible and work around my job. I live in a house with a decent sized fenced in back yard. I do have 3 cats and 2 dogs but my animals can be easily separated from yours if needed or put in a kennel.

About: *NEW CLIENTS* If you have sent a message/request on Sunday, I will respond to you on Monday. Thank you! Hello! I’m Lexi, and I would love to help care for your furry friend! I have had pets my entire life and know how important it is for them to continue receiving lots of love, attention, and exercise in our absence.  Whether you're looking for dog walking services while you're at work or drop-in visits when you're out of town, I'm happy to help! I want to know that my pets are cared for and loved while I'm away, and I want to provide you with that same assurance and peace of mind. I also know how important it is that dogs receive daily exercise, but know only too well that life can get busy, so I'm happy to come and play or walk with your dog!  I do not currently offer overnight stays, but if your pet can go all night without someone present, I'm happy to create a custom schedule of drop-ins based on their needs. I'm also happy to do some household tasks, such as watering plants and washing litter boxes, at an additional cost. Note: I'm happy to collect mail at no additional cost. If you are looking for someone to love on your pet in your absence, please reach out and let me know how I can help!    *BEFORE BOOKING* ~ I require a meet & greet before accepting a booking and therefore do not accept bookings with less than 3 days' notice, except in certain situations. ~My current service radius is 3 miles (or up to 10 minutes from my house) for multiple drop-ins and 6 miles for dog walking (or 1x day drop-in visits). I'm happy to book outside of my service radius, but please note that these bookings will be subject to a $1 per extra mile fee. ~ If you are booking walks, dog/s must be leash-trained (no excessive pulling, leash biting, etc.). ~ Up to 3 cats are included in my cat care rate. There is a $5 per cat charge for more than three cats. I currently work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. When submitting a service request, please send a message letting me know what you need, and I'll let you know whether I can accommodate. :) I am very conscientious when it comes to a pet's safety. When your furry friend and I are together, you can rest assured that I will do my utmost to keep them safe and properly cared for. I am also happy to send photo updates if requested.

About: As a lifelong dog and cat owner with four years of dedicated pet-sitting experience, I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to your pet's unique routine and personality. Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of real-world scenarios, from maintaining strict potty-training and crate schedules for energetic puppies to providing gentle, patient care for senior dogs who require frequent bathroom breaks and strict, time-sensitive medication administration. I love high-energy breeds that need structured exercise, but I am equally skilled with cats, sharing my home with a few of my own and confidently handling all types of feline behavior. Whether your cat is a clever escape artist requiring strict doorway vigilance, or a sassier kitty who tends to bite and scratch, I know how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and keep them safe and comfortable. When your pets are with me, you can rest easy knowing they are receiving the highest level of reliable, vigilant, and loving care. I work part-time as a barista, which gives me incredible flexibility throughout the day to dedicate to your pets. Because my schedule is adaptable, I can easily adjust my sleeping and waking hours to match whatever routine your animal needs. You won't have to worry about disrupted routines or missed doses. Whether I am caring for pets in my own home or yours, my primary goal is to provide a loving, calm, and predictable environment where they can truly thrive. I focus on creating a balanced routine that offers plenty of dedicated, high-energy playtime to burn off steam, paired with lots of peaceful downtime for them to rest and relax. I mirror their usual home environment as closely as possible to minimize anxiety, ensuring they feel completely safe, loved, and right at home.

About: I’ve owned animals of many kinds since I was born, and been a primary caretaker since I was about 10! I’ve been trusted to care for animals of every age - from rambunctious puppies and kittens to seniors who need a little more patience - and every size, whether it be a giant dog or a fragile kitten. I understand the importance of individual care, so I am ready to learn all about your animals and adapt to their needs. Additionally, I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant and have experience with many basic care skills. I am familiar with routine care such as feeding routines, walking, bathing, and training. I have ample experience with oral, injectable, and topical medications, and can confidently administer first aid if necessary. Additionally, I am ready to slow down and give extra care to any senior or special needs animal who may need a little more attention. I hope to make every pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible while in my care, and will make sure to keep you updated with pictures! I currently don’t work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets. They can have my full attention, I can make frequent visits, or just drop by every once in a while, whatever works best! Saturdays I am not available for walks, but I am happy to sit through the weekend if needed! While I don’t offer sitting in my home due to my own dogs, I am confident I can adapt to whatever routine your animals are used to in your home. Whether they are high maintenance or totally chill, I am willing to provide whatever necessary to make sitting as stress-free as possible!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
