About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day
About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with multiple dogs, one of which I took care of myself once I was older. I had dog sat for friends and even teachers before. I try my best to show them love even if I can't keep them with me. I have a husky of my own, I always give him is morning and nightly walks along even if I have school I always make time for him! The cats usually always sleep with us, but if not, they sleep on the couch. I live in a three bedroom house with a big backyard, but one of the rooms is no pet allowed. My husband and I have a shaded patio that is gated with chicken wire so our cat friends can also enjoy the outside. The patio is separated with a gate-door, so if we are hosting a dog they can enjoy at the same time with no problems. The extra room we have allows our guest/s to have their own room with their own window. They are free to walk through the house and make themselves comfortable.

About: Grew up surrounded by horses, cows, chickens, and never went without a pet in the home! I’ve even worked a little bit on farms and called myself “Captain of the Dogs” as a kid! About: I’ve been around animals all my life. My mom started a pet sitting business when I was a teenager and I often helped with visits. My first job in high school was in a pet grooming salon where I learned how to bathe and later groom. I paid my way through college as a groomer working at a vet and also an animal behaviorist/trainer. I helped them out in my downtime with training and in the boarding area. I also spend my free time working with animal rescue groups and also photographing cats and dogs. I love animals so much and live with my two senior rescue pets, one of which has diabetes, so I’m no stranger to giving medication. I care for pets in my client’s homes in the manner they request. If they’d prefer their pets crated when I leave, I can do so, I’m also comfortable leaving them out in the house when I leave. I always scan the area to make sure there is nothing they’ve gotten into that can harm them. I am not comfortable leaving pets in the yard when I’m not present unless there is a dog door (and it’s not around a fireworks holiday).
About: I’ve had a dog continuously in my life since before I can remember my first pet was a Chihuahua and his name was puppy. Not very original name! I love volunteering at animal shelters, which is probably why I have three dogs in my house! I recently retired from a crisis Pregnancy Center so I have plenty of free time right now and intend to do activities with all breeds and sizes of pups I do have a fenced yard and two dogs that can play fetch the ball for hours! About: I have had cats as pets my whole life and dogs as an adult. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years to dogs from puppies to seniors. Times have ranged from weekends to a month. I started fostering kittens when covid hit. I have found joy in caring for animals with all their different personalities. I have become experienced in all things kittens : bottle feeding , tube feeding administering medicine (my neighbor will even call me to give her pets pills) flea baths ringworm baths, brushing teeth you name it . I have even had to help kittens cross the rainbow bridge. It has been bitter sweet , but the love they give is more then enough. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too.
