“Andrea has been so great! Our Phoebe has been so happy having a new friend to hang out with her for a little bit during the week. Super sweet dog sitter and we can’t thank her enough!”

“Crystal was awesome! She was so personable and good with my foster puppy. I really appreciated the videos and updates she sent me and GREAT communication! This was my first time ever using Rover in my life, but after my interaction with Crystal I will definitely use it again.”
“Jacob was absolutely phenomenal taking care of our babies! From day one, he went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were well cared for, well exercised, and happy while we were away. He was incredibly attentive, detail oriented, and followed every instruction we left regarding their care. What impressed us the most was how quickly our dogs warmed up to him. Even though Jacob was a complete stranger to them at first, they took a liking to him almost immediately. His kind personality, gentle nature, and genuine love for animals made them feel comfortable and safe right away. It was clear from the start that he has a special connection with pets and truly enjoys caring for them. He kept us updated, paid close attention to their needs, and gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. Knowing our dogs were in such caring hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. Hoping he enjoyed our dogs and continues to be our go to person! We will book with him always .”

“Thank you very much for all your help! I can’t thank you enough for looking after my two cats while I was out of town. I highly recommend your services to any pet owner! I will be continue to use your services going forward.”

“Elizabeth was great! She followed all directions I set for her and even came to meet with me and meet my dog before the scheduled sitting times. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I have loved taking care of my boss's Teacup Maltese (Sassy) for the last 9 years and would like to help others out as well. My experience has ranged from running by to feed her if no one was home to spending two weeks with her in her own house so she felt comfortable while the family was on vacation. She has also stayed at my apartment for shorter stays as well. We have dealt with dietary changes in food and feeding schedules over the years to best accommodate what she needs, so if your dog has any special dietary requirements, I am more than happy to help. I've been there for Vet check-ups, dental cleanings, grooming, etc. to help keep her calm and have enjoyed every step of the way. I look forward to helping take care of your family member!
“Amber was able to do a last minute drop in visit to check on my cat. She’s very communicative and helpful. I’m so grateful for her. I highly suggest her and will be using her again! Thank you Amber!”

“I know 30 for a tip is not a lot, but I wanted to extend a super thanks for working with me and the communication during the time of my fire. We are sorry to see you go but hope the new opportunity is all you hoped it would be for work! Thank you again! -Nala & Zach”

“Sidney did an excellent job taking care our dog Otto and everything we asked of her. She even took him on walks in the blistering cold which I know he was very thankful for. Highly recommend!!”

About: Your dog’s adventure buddy while you’re away. Long walks, playtime, cuddles, and dependable care tailored to your pup’s unique personality. I’m here to make your puppers feel safe and be a home away from home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a pet owner myself. I plan my schedule around providing consistent care, exercise, attention, and companionship. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or check-ins throughout the day, I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, plus access to a dog park and Trinity River trails for exercise and enrichment. I follow each baby boy or girl’s routine, provide plenty of attention and playtime, and keep owners updated with photos throughout their stay.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I've volunteered at animal shelters where I gained valuable insight into caring for a variety of dogs. Growing up with both big and small breeds, I've learned how to adapt to each dog's unique needs and personality. Additionally, I regularly take care of my roommate's dog when she's away, further honing my skills in providing reliable, loving care. Whether it's walking, feeding, or simply offering companionship, I’m committed to ensuring every pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for. I work full-time during the week, but I'm available on weekends to offer the best care for your dog. Whether it's dog sitting, walking, or just spending quality time with your furry friend, weekends work perfectly for me to ensure they get the attention they deserve while you're busy. Let me know how I can help! I take great pride in providing a comfortable and safe environment for pets, both in my home and in my clients' homes. When caring for pets in my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. In your home, I make sure to respect your pet's familiar surroundings while providing the same level of care. I stick to their routine, offer companionship, and ensure they feel safe and secure while you're away. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own, always ensuring they’re happy and well-cared for.

About: I’ve had experience with both dogs and cats, having been a dog owner myself and currently a volunteer foster in the DFW area. I have cared for all ages — including puppies, kittens as young as 1 week old, adult cats/dogs and senior dogs. I hope to care for your pet be it in the comfort of their home or ours. Lots of room in the backyard for zoomies! I do work full time but have the flexibility to work from home. I typically go into the office 3 days a week and do half days as I occasionally pet sit or care for foster animals. Happy to talk about arrangements or flexibility! We do not have any permanent resident pets in our home, just the occasional fosters. We do crate when away from home, but pets have full roaming capabilities when we’re home. If I come to your home I’m happy to abide by any rules or routines you prefer!
“Ashley was a lifesaver! My pet sitter fell through 3 days before my trip and luckily Ashley was very quick to respond and set up a time to meet me and my cats! My cats loved her and she sent me so many pictures while I was away and missing my babies. Even my timid cat was very quick to warm up to her!”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was little. I’ve always loved being around them!! This started out as something fun & quickly grew into one of my greatest passions. I’m currently in school online. My free time is used up by baking, cooking, or walking. I am left with plenty of free time so what better way to use it than to take fur babies on walks!! I think of our pets as humans. They’re loving, supportive, funny animals. All they show is love so why not show it back. 🐾 💕🐾 💕🐾

“Della was terrific with our two dogs! She was an effective communicator, sent a great selection of photos, and very respectful of our home. We had no concerns throughout. Was also great to meet beforehand to determine that we were a good fit and to let the dogs acclimate. Highly recommend Della!”

Jacob is amazing - TOP TIER! He went above and beyond while he cared for our senior cat Amelie at our home. She has very specific feeding needs since she's older, and Jacob made sure she was eating. Jacob kept her company and brushed her even with her "don't touch me" cattitude. And he provided a BONUS with taking some very awesome photos of her. Jacob is incredibly friendly and trustworthy - highly recommend him for taking care of your pet(s)!

Ashley was a lifesaver! My pet sitter fell through 3 days before my trip and luckily Ashley was very quick to respond and set up a time to meet me and my cats! My cats loved her and she sent me so many pictures while I was away and missing my babies. Even my timid cat was very quick to warm up to her!

She sent tons of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even took the time to check on my stray kitties and send pictures of them, despite not needing to. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treated my babies like her own. She was kind, caring, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter! ❤️🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fort Worth. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
