I’ve had experience with both dogs and cats, having been a dog owner myself and currently a volunteer foster in the DFW area. I have cared for all ages — including puppies, kittens as young as 1 week old, adult cats/dogs and senior dogs. I hope to care for your pet be it in the comfort of their home or ours. Lots of room in the backyard for zoomies!

Lexie is exactly the type of kind & caring person you want for your pets. She is attentive and notices to small details. She loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. Lexie is also very neat and makes a great house guest. I would love to have Lexie as my pet sitter!
Lexi is a true animal lover! Most recently, she took care of two baby kittens that required bottle feeding every two hours. Additionally, she has lots of experience with dogs of all different breeds, ages, and sizes. Your pet will be in such good hands with Lexi!
Alexis (Lexie) is an exceptional pet caregiver with a true passion for animals. As a foster mom, she dedicates her time to helping local shelters whenever she can, always putting the well-being of animals first. I would trust Lexie without hesitation to care for my pets while I’m away or to walk them during the week. She gives every pet the same love, attention, and care, treating each one as if they were her own. Any pet would be in wonderful hands with her.
Lexie is a natural caretaker and lover of all animals, and she will always go the extra mile! She has watched my dog many times while I’ve been away, and she has somehow managed to get more cuddles from my dog than I have. My dog is always excited to see Lexie, and gives her more kisses and cuddles than anyone else who watches her. Lexie is also very punctual, organized and reliable. She will always be on time and she prioritizes meal schedules, walks, and play time to make sure your furry friends are happy and cared for. I’ve also seen Lexie explore new territory with young bottle-baby kittens that she fostered from 2 weeks old until they got big and strong enough for adoption, diligently feeding them regularly, and keeping a watchful eye over their antics. She’s always watching out for the animals in her care and making them feel special. I wholeheartedly recommend Lexie for any pet care, and would trust her with any animal any day!

Schedule
I do work full time but have the flexibility to work from home. I typically go into the office 3 days a week and do half days as I occasionally pet sit or care for foster animals. Happy to talk about arrangements or flexibility!

Safety, trust & environment
We do not have any permanent resident pets in our home, just the occasional fosters. We do crate when away from home, but pets have full roaming capabilities when we’re home. If I come to your home I’m happy to abide by any rules or routines you prefer!
A typical day
I love morning walks especially in the summer since it tends to get hot. I try to aim for 2 walks a day, usually the second after dinner. During the day once I’m home from my working in office, I like to let the pets out to relax or have enrichment time. I love putting together enrichment toys or treats!
