“Angelika was fantastic with my French bulldog, Jojo! She was completely reliable and always showed up on time and super flexible. She has great daily communication. Every single day, she sent me updates and cute photos so I knew Jojo was happy, safe, and having a great time. About: I have had multiple dogs and cats my entire life. I can easily handle multiple dogs with different personalities. I am also experienced in finding creative ways to keep dogs happy and recognize signs of annoyance or that a dog wants to be alone. I love going for walks and taking dogs with me. I also encourage play and almost always have some toys or treats in my car. I do allow dogs on our furniture and love to cuddle. I have 2 dogs of my own who are friendly and love to play chase and wrestle. I have a large fenced in backyard and a doggy door so dogs have access inside and out all day weather permitting. I’m a stay at home mom so I spend most of the day at home. Dogs will have free range of inside and outside while I’m home. I do have multiple gates and doors in our home so dogs can have separate spaces when needed. I do kennel one of our dogs when we leave the house and would put any other dogs in a separate room just to ensure safety of all the animals. I have a large fenced in backyard and a doggy door. My dogs are allowed free access inside and out. They also are allowed on furniture. I do lock up my dogs when we leave the house. I have a permanent baby gate and sliding door so I can keep dogs in the living room if they need to be separated.
About: I stand out because I care for pets the way I care for people — with gentleness, consistency, and a whole lot of love. I’m comfortable with puppies who need training, seniors who need slower days, and pets with unique personalities or quirks. I create a calm, home‑like environment and give each pet the kind of attention that helps them feel secure and happy. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily rhythm. I start and end my day with walks, check‑ins, and playtime, and I build my weekly schedule around giving pets consistent attention and structure. Whether it’s morning potty breaks, midday walks, or evening cuddle time, caring for animals fits seamlessly into how I plan my days. In my home, pets are treated like family. I make sure they have cozy resting spots, fresh water, regular potty breaks, and lots of playtime and affection. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their established routines so their pet feels completely at ease. I pay close attention to their comfort, energy level, and personality so I can give them care that feels familiar and reassuring.

About: I have experience caring for other people’s pets and genuinely enjoy providing them with attentive, loving care. I have cared for my boss’s two dogs and have been the trusted caregiver for my close friend’s dog, Charlie, whenever she travels to India. Charlie and I spend several weeks together during her trips, and I have been caring for him consistently for over four years. I understand the importance of maintaining pets’ routines, ensuring they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention, and making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands. I am currently working full-time. My weekend availability includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and I am happy to care for pets during this time. As the owner of two pets, I have a deep affection for animals and am eager to devote some of my free time to their care. I am presently unable to care for additional pets at my residence. I currently live in an apartment with 2 pets. I am open to traveling to you for improved care options.

I’m currently a full-time worker, I can always work around my schedule to fit anyone’s needs or concerns. I’m am flexible. I have two cats where i currently live but im more than happy to stay at home with your babies if that’s what I need to do.
“Madeline was great. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with our dog and Rover- she was way more sliding than we expected. Regardless, Madeline kept in communication and made our sweet girl as comfortable as possible. Obviously I wish our dog wasn’t as nervous to new people, but I would trust her for any future bookings!”

“Ashley is an absolute gem! She walked my dogs, Jojo and Ella, and they both completely adored their time with her. Her communication was top-notch, always keeping me updated, and her flexibility with timing was a lifesaver. On top of being completely reliable, it is clear how much she truly loves dogs. I couldn't ask for a better caregiver for Jojo and Ella—highly recommended!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs alike. Growing up in a house of several cats and dogs at a time, I am no stranger to the needs of animals. We had strays outside which I took care of and even brought a few cats into our home. Neighbors and friends have asked me to house sit before. I love exercising and engaging pets with toys and play to keep them healthy. I have administered medications and treatments before. I have owned many cats and dogs and will treat your animal with the same love and tenderness as my own. I’m currently unemployed, so I have open availability to accommodate your schedule and look after your pups and cats. Unfortunately I live in an apartment and can not board animals, but I am willing to come to you and stay with your dog or cat in his/hers comfortable environment. I can drop by your house and spend several hours a day with your cat or dog, feeding and entertaining. I am able to walk dogs several times a day.
“Sarah was wonderful with Buster. He’s not the easiest dog to walk since he gets very excited to go out. At 100 lbs, it can be a lot to handle. She sent updates every day with photos. We came home to a very happy dog. Thank you Sarah!”
About: Hi, I’m Alison! 🐾 and I’m 27 years old. I’m a pet lover based in Haltom City, TX, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where your pup will feel right at home. I’ve already cared for several wonderful dogs and love creating a strong bond with each one. I live in an RV that is almost a tiny house with my husband. My RV is inside a fence that remains closed at all times. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a very large yard behind my RV, perfect for running and playing with your dog. We also have some green areas and parks around. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, and overnight stays. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and responsible, I’d be happy to help care for your furry friend! 🐶💕 I hope to hear about you soon! I'm available Wednesday and weekends for boarding, doggy day care and walks! My routine is the same every week so don’t hesitate to ask me. I live in an RV next to a house. The house is fenced on both sides, but I have my own entrance to my property. The fences are closed all day because the owners of the house also have pets and want to keep them safe.
About: What sets me apart is how seriously I take caring for your pet—I treat them like they’re my own. I have a background working as a pharmacy technician and EMS training, so I’m very attentive, reliable, and comfortable handling situations that require extra care or quick thinking. I’m experienced with both puppies and senior pets, whether that means helping with basic routines and potty training or giving medications and moving at a slower, more comfortable pace. I also make it a priority to keep you updated with pictures and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Honestly, animals are a huge part of my life, so pet care fits into my routine really naturally. I love being around them, and I actually plan my days in a way that lets me give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, it never feels like a chore—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away is always my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. During drop-in visits, I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get potty breaks, and of course plenty of attention and playtime. For walks, I make sure they get safe, structured exercise at a pace that fits their energy level. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that’s giving medications, working on basic puppy routines, or taking extra time with senior pets who need a slower, gentler approach. I also respect your home, keep everything clean, and follow any instructions closely. I always send updates and pictures so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: Hi, I’m J and I love taking care of animals while their humans are away. I’ve been pet sitting for 4 years, and got my start walking dogs. I understand that every animal is different, with different needs, and responds in different ways. I take the time to get to know each dog, and what they like and dislike. I’m always ready to give extra pets, walks, or treats when needed. I’ve also given liquid medication to a dog and a rat, and I’m willing to sit for pets that need meds. I’d love to meet your fur baby and take care of whatever they need while you’re away. I ask that any dogs I sit be properly leash trained. I’m happy to continue any training they’ve had, but if they frequently lunge or are aggressive on a leash, I will not be able to care for them. I do ask that everyone in the household be up to date on their COVID vaccines, I’m happy to share my vaccine card, so everyone is safe :) I ask about any routines already established, if I’ll be walking the pet or pets, I make sure to get to know their triggers. I make sure to keep an eye on the pet or pets and watch for any signs that they are in distress or not feeling well I’m not able to accept sittings for new clients with less than a 5 days notice. I work full time at a retail store, my schedule varies, but I work afternoon/evenings 5 days a week, and my shifts are 6-8 hours long. I also check on my cat once a day when I'm doing sittings, usually before I work or right after I get off. I make sure to go over all needs of the pet, including if they have a habit of jumping over fences or don’t like to be approached a certain way. How much outside/walk time they need. I want to ensure their and others safety while in my care.
About: I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. I have grooming supplies on hand if you'd like your dog to be clean and smelling fresh the day they're due to go home. I never stop learning about dogs so you can rest assured knowing you have one of the best looking after your pets. I have a wealth of knowledge, experience, tools, and equipment to ensure the best possible stay. I am a stay at home mom and am home everyday. I employ what I describe as the perfect balance of a dog being in a home setting it's used to while also having the security on the individual dog level of a kennel boarding facility. During the day the dogs get as much play time as they prefer and the weather will allow. I wake up early and the first thing I do is take all the dogs out to the backyard. The entire yard is available for any dog once I get familiar with them and their behaviors. My goal is to eliminate as much chance as possible of escaping, fighting, over heating, fence aggression, getting into things commonly found in backyards such as trash cans, etc. while also making sure they are fulfilled mentally and physically each day. For your pets sleeping or daytime napping arrangements I try to mimic their home routine as much as possible. I have one large and a small kennel in my home reserved for dogs that are used to being caged at night or they can stay in bed with me and get all the cuddles. No other dog can try to steal their food, your pet won't eat another pets food which is great for dogs with sensitive stomachs, and it virtually eliminates the possibility for any resource guarding behaviors. I go above and beyond to make sure every dog enjoys their stay in the safest possible manner. They have someone who understands their nature and fulfills their needs. I am a stay at home mom to 4 kids and a military spouse of 23 years. My kids are all in school and absolutely love all animals. I am always available to walk, pet sit or boarding. I have a very large fenced in yard with a dog door. I love walking dogs and getting some energy out. I have a crate that can be used as needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
