“Alexis was extremely friendly and communicative. My dog had a great time at her place for 5 nights and I know she’d love to go back!!! Alexis is a great sitter who sends tons of pics and updates everyday. Highly recommend!”

“Marley enjoyed his time with Travis and I appreciate Travis treating Marley like his own while I had to go out of town for an overnight trip. Marley will definitely be back to see Travis and his new doggy friends.”

“Caring pet sitter, genuine family, very informative and gave my pet lots of play time and even gave my dog a bath when she was showing signs of skin flair ups (my pet has outdoor allergies). Looking forward to using this sitter again in the future!”

“We had a great experience with Leslie. She sent us updates and pictures and our little guy seemed really happy to be there! I would definitely recommend and book with her again.”
“Abigail is the best dog sitter I know! Her family is so welcoming! Abigail makes you dog feel like he’s at home! My dog gets so excited when I turn on her street, he can’t wait to see her! She is the best!”
“Diana is fantastic with our girls. At drop off they were so excited to see her! She sends pictures and updates so we never have to worry if our girls are having fun. Diana is our go to sitter for Crunchy and Mokie.”

“This was our second time having our dog Penny stay with Jin & Weiliang. They are so good with keeping us updated throughout the day with lots of photos and videos that we feel very comfortable leaving her with them! This time around, we had to last minute extend her stay due to travel mishaps on our end and they were so accommodating. We recommend them for anyone looking for a safe place for their pets!”

“Abigail and Matt took such good care of Jax. He played so hard that after picking him up he slept 13 hours straight! For an energetic beagle that was fantastic. I hope to leave him in their care again!”

“It's my first time using Rover, not to mention the first time I left Ripey with anyone other than my mother. I definitely felt like a nervous mother, entrusting her child to a stranger for the very first time. But Misty and Michael set all my worries to rest. They followed all the instructions I gave for Ripley's care and feeding; they were responsive, always answering my texts with promptness, and sent photos to show Ripley having a pretty good and cuddly time. In fact, I think Ripley may have been spoiled by them, because once I returned from the wedding I was attending to pick him up, he seemed a bit confused that he was not being paid the same amount of attention he got from Misty and Michael! I could not be more grateful for how well they took care of him, and I'd entrust him to them anytime.”

“Victoria and her family were wonderful! They kept us updated with photos and messages, and Dodo came home happy and well cared for. It was clear she had a great time. We’d definitely book with Victoria again! 😊”

“This is my second time booking with this family, and once again they were absolutely amazing with my dog! They treated him like their own so loving, attentive, and communicative throughout his stay. I received regular updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind. Their home is welcoming and safe, and my dog is always happy and relaxed when I pick him up. Truly grateful to have found such a caring and reliable sitter, highly recommend!”

“Christine is the best! She took such great care of my dog, providing me with updates and photos every day. She is communicative and responds quickly. I would definitely book with her in the future and recommend to any one who has dog sitting needs.”

“It was a great assurance and peace of mind to have Ringo sleep over for a few nights with Anabel, wonderful and reliable family! They kept me informed with memorable photos of family walks, sleeping or just chilling in the house; Ringo adjusted and blended right in, he found a home away from home; will certainly book again! Thank you for keeping Ringo happy and relaxed!”

“Vidhyanandhini took very good care of Holly. Holly came home happy. Vidhyanandhini gave updates regularly. She was flexible with the drop and pick up time. She will be my first preference for Hollys boarding.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! She was incredibly friendly, kept me updated with great communication, and sent pictures throughout my dog's stay. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in such caring hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive!”

“Mary Kathryn is an amazing sitter! We left our 2 dogs with her for just over a week and received updates and a bunch of pictures, which we really enjoyed getting. She did have some other dogs at the home during our stay, and from the photos, my boys really enjoyed the time! I will 10000% be rebooking with Mary Kathryn the next time I need a sitter for when I need to travel.”

“Melissa was great with our kitties. She was reliable, thorough, and easy to work with. It was my first time using Rover, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I will definitely be using it again and would choose Melissa again in a heartbeat.”

“Haylle was awesome! She sent some cute pictures of my boys and left notes letting me know my babies were okay while I was gone! She even took in my sisters packages and made sure the door was locked when we were having issues! Definitely recommend her for your fur babies!! Thank you again!”

“Yuliya agreed to care for my pups with only a days notice. I was frantically attempting to book someone due to an event that came up that I had to attend. She provided them love and care and also took numerous photos as she knew that I missed them. She also brought in my parcels and gave my pups all their medications. I highly recommend Yuliya and her excellent services!”

“Diana took care of my Persian cat and gave her the love and attention while I was out for 10 days. Everything went perfectly and I was well pleased with the care Persia received. Diana come highly recommended!!”

“Tereza was wonderful with our two cats, Absinthe and Lucius! She sent thoughtful daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She quickly picked up on their very different personalities - our outgoing black cat and our shy tabby - and was so patient with Lucius while he warmed up to her. She even let us know when she found one of their Churu treats and checked before giving them another one, which showed how attentive she was. I highly recommend Tereza. ❤️”

“Ann was absolutely great. We just moved to our new address a couple months ago. We have two fur babies (cats Bela and Macie) and decided to not board them while we were overseas for 12 days. We thought it might be better to have a pet sitter visit them twice a day to feed and provide care for them. That enabled them to stay in their own environment which would be less traumatic. We received daily updates and photos. From the photos it appears they bonded with Ann in a very short time. We would highly recommend Ann for watching your pets. She is marvelous.”

“This was the longest trip we have made since Michaela has been taking care of our cats. We felt comfortable leaving them because we knew that they would be in good hands. She does and great job and Flash and Wanda seem to like her.”

“Maria was fantastic! Reliable, efficient, and caring. Was able to work around an event happening in my neighborhood and easily problem solved some issues i had forgotten to go over with her. 10/10 would book again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Karen! Karen is absolutely wonderful with my two high‑energy girls, Rosie (Golden Retriever) and Annie (Boykin Spaniel). They light up every time they see her. She sends great photos, takes them on proper walks, and handles their energy with ease. Communication is always smooth, and she comes in and out of the house respectfully with zero issues. I trust her completely with my dogs — they’re happy, safe, and well cared for every time she’s here.”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and have house sat and pet sat for family members and friends. I love animals and have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I also have experience administering medication. I have helped care for a dog with epilepsy who took many medications and my current dog takes medications as well. I also work in a doggy day care where I take care of many different types of dogs with different needs. I am currently working part time and in school. I’m at work and school between 8am and 5pm. Some days I get off earlier. I can house sit weekends and walk dogs weekends and evenings. If needed, I can house sit during the week but I won’t be there all day. I do not currently have any dogs at my home. I rent and I’m not allowed to have pets, but I do have a fenced in back yard. When it comes to taking care of someone else’s dog, I can supervise them in the backyard if needed, and hopefully take them on walks or to the dog park.

“Alexis has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my dog, Honey! I drop Honey off early in the morning and often pick her up late in the evening, and Alexis has been incredibly flexible and understanding with my schedule. She loves Honey and so does her kids! Honey gets plenty of exercise, and I receive lots of photo updates throughout the day. I can see how happy and comfortable Honey is with her, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m at work. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter, and I highly recommend Alexis to anyone looking for someone truly caring and dependable! Honey is excited to see me but quickly turns around wanting to go back in her house, which I’ve never experienced! I can’t thank her enough for being so sweet to my dog.”

About: Hi! My name is Yamilca, and I’m a lifelong fur baby lover with years of experience caring for pets. I’ve been a Rover customer for almost 6 years, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. Fur babies have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, bunnies, birds, cats, and dogs. I’ve always had a natural connection with them, and I genuinely enjoy making every fur baby feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m also a proud pet mom to a 14-year-old Shih Tzu mix who has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He came to us from Puerto Rico and is truly part of our family. Because of his age and a seizure he experienced earlier this year, he has lost most of his vision and hearing. Caring for him has taught me a great deal about patience, senior pets, special needs, medication routines, mobility limitations, and the importance of paying close attention to changes in a pet’s behavior. I know that every fur baby is different. Some are energetic and playful, while others are shy, anxious, elderly, or simply need extra patience and reassurance. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. As someone who regularly uses Rover myself when I travel or need someone to care for my own fur baby, I understand the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates and knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is to provide that same peace of mind to you. Your fur baby will be treated with kindness, patience, respect, and plenty of love. 🐶🐱❤️ I would love the opportunity to meet you and your fur baby and become someone you can trust for their care! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of extra time and flexibility to spend with my sweet old boy. I would love for him to have some furry friends to keep him company and bring a little extra joy and companionship into our home. 🐾❤️ I’m home often and genuinely enjoy having fur babies around, so caring for your pet would be something I would truly enjoy—not just a job. My goal is to make every guest feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I lived in an apartment, I always walked my dog with his leash it keeps him safe, And I have a small fence balcony with simulated green grass and lots of plants so your babies can spent time outside getting fresh air and aun if they like to.
“Oh my goodness she’s so nice. My dog is exhausted. I will absolutely 100% User. Next time I need a sitter he came out happy if you were looking for a sitter or anything with dogs she’s awesome and she’s really funny.”

“Our dogs loved staying with Maria. They felt comfortable with her since the beginning. She’s also great overall, and very responsive to any questions you may have. Thank you Maria :)”

“Carol is amazing! She is loving and attentive to the needs of Trixie. I will be booking all my future care of Trixie with Carol. I highly recommend Carol for taking care of your dog.”

“Tina was absolutely amazing. My dog felt so comfortable and less anxiety leaving her place. She even gave us a partying gift of treats . Her home was welcoming and I received pictures daily on updates on how my fur baby was doing at her stay. I would highly recommend and book again.”

About: I have had dogs all my life! In particular, the last 14 years I have had Great Danes. I have raised 3 of them since they were 5-6 weeks old, and we even had 2 liters of our own that I helped mama with during birth. We also have a 140 gallon saltwater reef tank and a spotted gecko. I currently work from home, and occasionally I break free and run errands or I’m taking teens around the metroplex 😝 I have a very large fenced back yard and if you bring your crate for your dog I can crate them as well when needed. Your pet will be treated as if it were one of my own! I love animals and all their different personalities, your baby will be our baby too! If I could have allllll the dogs, I would 😆 Unless we all go somewhere, there is always someone home with them! If you have a crate, I don’t mind you bringing it along for your dog to sleep in overnight or if they need to be crated when we leave the home. I currently work part time but there will always be someone home here with the dogs. I am also flexible at work where I can leave and come check in on them or do potty breaks. I have a large fenced yard that is over 1/2 an acre. I am very close with all my neighbors so there are plenty of eyes watching and usually someone is always outside. My next door neighbor is also a Rover sitter. I always feed pets separately for everyone’s safety. I also put away all toys if I leave or if there is any reason they will be unsupervised for some amount of time.

About: Hi there! My name is Ashley and I'm a HUGE dog and cat lover. I primarily pet-sit in Texas and NYC (occasionally in Virginia). A bit more about me: I rescued, fostered, and adopted 10+ feral kittens to their forever homes during the pandemic on my own. I also had and trained two big furry babies back in Texas named Bentley (German-Shepard/Collie Mix, 75lbs) and Poppy (Golden Retriever, 85lbs) before they passed the rainbow bridge. My purpose: I am looking to give our four-legged besties some love while helping other fur parents feel comfortable about not being with them. I'm familiar with taking care of different types of breeds, sizes, ages, and medical conditions (giving IV fluids, diabetes shots, oral pills, etc.). I will treat your precious baby with love and care and will make sure everyone has a great time! I know how scary it can be leaving your baby under someone else's care but I hope to eliminate that fear as I send many updates with pictures to keep you impressed and reassured. I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby soon! Tell me about your baby's usual daily schedule and we can adjust as needed! Most of the time my schedule tends to be flexible so we should not have an issue. Give me a list of your daily routines and norms! Let me know the little details/their habits (like they scratch the floor because they want more food or you know something is wrong if they don't eat their chicken because they never say no to chicken). Show me where everything is and who to call if something were to ever happen (but hopefully I never have to use the emergency number/emergency vet!). I'll make sure to read any instructions you give me multiple times and ask if I think anything is missing!

“Wow, Jonathan was amazing! You could tell that Skipper loved him the moment that they met and that she felt right at home. Jonathan made sure to keep us updated each day, sending lots of photos and videos. We never had to worry whether she was safe and in good hands. We will definitely be using Jonathan again in the future!”

“Sabrina and Jason have a very nice environment for keeping dogs and cats. Our medium size dog seems to have had a really good time staying there with the other dogs. Fully recommend them.”
