I enjoy having your pet feel happy in an environment that has clarity and good energy.
“Ozzy absolutely loves Sara—and so do we! She connected with him right away, even practicing some of his tricks during their walk. We especially appreciated the adorable photos she shared of our sweet pup. Thank you so much, Sara!”

About: I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 6 years and truly love providing pets with a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and personality. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing, I adapt my care to match their routine. I currently work part-time, which allows me to provide attentive and flexible pet care. While I’m unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have open availability most other days and can accommodate a variety of schedules. I always make sure pets receive plenty of time, attention, exercise, and care. I live in a pet-friendly apartment and maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment. I’m experienced sharing space with pets and always prioritize supervision, comfort, and safety. I carefully follow each owner’s preferences and can separate pets if needed to ensure a stress-free experience.
“Sabrina is always great with walking Aubergine and they walk really far together ! Very sweet friendship they have and Aubi is always excited to see her. Thank you!”

About: I have a beautiful female Dalmatian that is 5 years old. I have an adorable male Pitbull boxer mix that is 5 years old. I also have a crazy indoor orange cat and a black outdoor cat. Outside of my fur babies, I’ve taken care of my friend’s and teammates dogs and cats. In the process of watching them, I taught their dogs many fun tricks. I did train my dogs myself on how to walk off leash and multiple cool tricks as well. I can teach your dogs some fun tricks in the process of watching them! I’ve watched all ages of dogs and cats for my friends. From puppies and kittens to senior pets. I am pretty free most days. I have a stay at home job as a manager for my dad’s company. Therefore, I have plenty of free time to check on the fur babies because I can plan my workday to accommodate what needs to be done. I do coach kids in AAU basketball. So sometimes on the weekends I may be gone for several hours coaching, but I will still be able to go check on them in between games. My two dogs are very friendly and loves to go on walks. If you want your dog to have company on a walk or play dates. I can bring my dogs as well.

About: Hi! I’m Erika! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with my childhood Maltipoo, so I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I also dog sit for a family friend whose Poodle mix I’ve looked after for since she was about four months old. Now I have my own Pit Bull puppy (Mocha Bear!) who I’ve been raising since she was just 10 days old! Taking care of her has taught me so much about puppies, routines, patience, and making sure they’re getting the love and attention they need every day without fail. I know every dog is different and I genuinely love getting to know their personalities. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing until they’re tired, or just wants someone to cuddle with while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone else because I’d feel the exact same way with Mocha. That’s why I’ll always care for your dog like they’re my own and send plenty of photo updates so you know they’re happy and having fun. I’m currently a 2nd year college student and work as a server on weekends from about 8 am–3pm. During the week, my work schedule is very flexible and I have lots of free time to dedicate to pet care. Since I already have my own puppy, my days naturally revolve around walks, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure she’s happy and cared for. I’ll make sure your pup gets that same level of attention, whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or staying with them while you’re away!💗 I know leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful because I'd want the same peace of mind if I were leaving my own puppy. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible whether that's feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, or just making sure they get plenty of attention. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and have experience with puppies, including raising my own puppy, since she was just 10 days old. I also become quite the photographer when I look after any pup so be ready for regular updates and photos😋

About: I’ve been around pets all my life! I’ve never lived in a house that did not have a dog or cat present, and it just doesn’t feel like home without one! I’m currently an owner of a 7 year old cat myself, but I’ve always been around dogs of all ages and sizes! I frequently pet sit and stay overnight for family members, as well. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm, but I do have an hour lunch break from 11:30 am-12:30 pm, which I can use to check on your pet, take them on a short walk, play, or feed them (if needed!) I do not work on the weekends, so I am 100% available to stay overnight Friday-Saturday and make sure everything is good to go before I leave on Sunday! Before I leave and while I’m there, I always make sure there is nothing left out that an animal can get into, and I always ensure there is water and food that is easily accessible to them. A good play session is something I like to do to make sure they were given enough attention before I leave, or, for dogs, I take them on a short walk to get some of that energy out!

About: Hi my name is Abi. I’ve spent the last year caring for dogs of all kinds, and there’s nothing I take more seriously than making sure a pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. One thing that genuinely sets me apart: I’m experienced handling multiple dogs at once. Whether you have a duo that plays off each other’s energy or a household with very different personalities, I know how to keep the dynamic balanced and every dog feeling attended to. I am a college student currently home trying to make extra money! my time is genuinely flexible. I’m available every morning, afternoon and evening on weekdays, and largely wide open on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into that rhythm, I can stop by for midday check ins on days I have lighter schedules, and commit to longer visits or overnight stays when needed. Dogs thrive on consistency, and I build my availability around making sure they get that When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show mine. I follow your routines as closely as possible. feeding schedules, walk routes, commands your dog responds to, because familiarity keeps pets calm and settled. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes before any outdoor time, and I keep a close eye on interactions when multiple dogs are involved to make sure everyone stays comfortable. You’ll get updates and photos so you’re never left wondering.
About: I have a senior cat of my own and live with a service dog! This means I bring abilities like training and medication help to the table as well as being gentle with your seniors. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spare for your fur babies! We can always have a conversation about schedules that work for both of us and figure things out! I often take a 50+ dog out for walks and crate him as needed so I can apply these skills to your dog as required.

About: ***I've had several requests for last-minute sittings. I do require a meet and greet AT LEAST 24 hours before the beginning of the stay. I want to make sure your dog(s) gets along with mine before accepting the stay! Thanks :) I've had dogs my entire life and have a love like no other! I have a 7 year old lab and a 2 year old Lab/Border Collie mix. I will be happy to spoil your furbaby while you're out of town as well! I have a backyard with plenty of playing room. I work from home 4 days a week. On the days I'm in the office, I'm just a few miles away and come home at lunch for a quick play break with the pups. I also have a doggie door that allows the pups access to the yard at any time. I will treat your pup like my own while they are in my care. If you have special requests, I will honor them. Your pet can have free roam of the house or be crated - your preference!
About: My phone screen says it all, it's a photo of my dog, the first thing I see every morning and the face I look forward to coming home to. That love is exactly what I bring to every pet I care for. For 15 years, friends and family have trusted me with their pets during vacations, emergencies, and everything in between. And they can count on me every time. I know that when an owner steps away, their pet feels it. Dogs pick up on absence, and I'm patient enough to sit with that, calm enough to reassure them, and attentive enough to know what they need in the moment...whether that's extra cuddles, a familiar routine, or just a steady, loving presence. What sets me apart isn't just experience. It's that I genuinely care. Your pet won't just be looked after, they will feel it. One of the best things about my schedule right now is the flexibility. Working part time means I can shape my days around the pets in my care, whether that's an early morning walk, staying close during those first anxious hours after an owner leaves, or simply being home and present. Your pet won't spend the day waiting. They'll spend it with someone who's actually there. From the moment a pet enters my care, their comfort and safety come first. I live alone, which means no unexpected chaos — just a calm, peaceful space where pets can truly relax and settle in. My big backyard gives dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe and secure environment. I know that the first hours without their owner can be the hardest, so I stay close, keep routines consistent, and pay attention to the little signals that tell me how a pet is really feeling. Trust isn't built in a day, but 15 years of caring for friends' and family's pets has taught me how to earn it quickly. From the animals and their owners. I keep communication open, sending updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and loved. My flexible schedule means I'm never rushing out the door — your pet has my time and my full attention. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach stays the same: treat every animal the way I'd want my own dog treated — with patience, consistency, and genuine love.
About: As a board certified behavior analyst, you can be sure your pet is in good hands. I have owned both dogs and cats. Reinforcement based methods are used :) I take my dogs out 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night) and feed them twice a day, morning and night. I allow them to lead walks unless I’m specifically training for them to walk beside me. I take pets to the local dog park (unless not desired by owner) and use treats as reinforcement for good behavior. I would also take them to get pup cups. I allow pets on the couch so that’ll likely be the spot your pup sleeps on!
About: From puppy training to senior care - let me provide you with peace of mind while you're at work or traveling! I can help train your new puppy or make sure your senior cat is getting their daily meds and all the attention they need. I work from home so sleepovers or day care is super easy, also happy to do drop-in visits or walks in your neighborhood if commute and schedule allow. I have a large, fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood for walking, squirrel sighting, and generally smelling all the things. I know what it's like to leave your pets with someone you trust - let me earn your trust so that you can vacation/work/etc. peacefully.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Arlington
Melina has been wonderful with Nabi! Nabi always seems happy after her walks, and I have peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. She’s caring, communicative, and has also been incredibly kind and flexible, which I really appreciate. I’m so glad I found her and would definitely recommend her!

Paris has taken care of my pets for some time now and she has always demonstrated being professional and caring, but most important she takes care of them as if they were her own pets. Both Luna and Astra love when she’s around and basically any other animal that interacts with her loves her immediately, I 100% recommend her to look over your pets very professional and trustworthy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
