About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple different types of pets in the past. I’ve dog sat my daughters dogs, along with my sons dogs as well. My family and I have taken care of birds, chickens, cats, dogs, and other kinds of farm animals. I treat them like they’re part of my family. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Reinforcement based methods are used :) I take my dogs out 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night) and feed them twice a day, morning and night. I allow them to lead walks unless I’m specifically training for them to walk beside me. I take pets to the local dog park (unless not desired by owner) and use treats as reinforcement for good behavior. I would also take them to get pup cups. About: I have owned many dogs from Shepherds to yorkies. I love taking care of animals and I'm very active so taking an extra walk or two is good with me. I am an easy going person, so I'm good with chilling and hanging out with your pups! I am a full time student, and I wanted to work doing something I love. “Perfect! If you're looking to have great care for your pet look no further. Our dog had a wonderful stay with them. They have 2 dogs of their own that he played with and kept him company. He also loved the attention from Aldrin and Teresa. They are a sweet friendly couple. Someone was always home to watch them and they took him on plenty of walks. That really helps when our dog is in a new place with new faces. We also appreciate their organization and communication skills. They confirmed the appointment the day before, asked good questions about our dog and provided just the right amount of pics/updates. The attention to detail is very much appreciated. We will definitely use them in the future and I know our dog will be looking forward to it.”
About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!
“We had a last-minute boarding request around Christmas, and Newana and her family were incredibly kind and accommodating in accepting my German Shepherd. From the start, the coordination was smooth and hassle-free. Newana kept us at ease by sending regular updates and photos, and she made sure my pup got his walks and plenty of care and attention. It was clear he was comfortable and well looked after in a friendly, family-like environment. We’re very thankful to Newana for stepping in during a busy holiday time and taking such good care of our German Shepherd.
