She watched my dog over the 4th of July weekend; I was worried about him being scared of the fireworks.. and she made a courtesy check in !!!!!!!!! She went out of her way (something I didn’t pay her for) just to make sure my dog felt safe and comfortable during the fireworks; which put me at ease. On the last day of her watching my dog, she had already made her stop for the day; I later noticed the AC at my house got shut off, she made another courtesy stop just to turn my AC back on so my dog didn’t get too hot!!! About: I have grown up in a house that always had animals in it, especially dogs and cats. I have a few clients that I have been watching houses for— for years, I believe in making connections with your clients pets so there is no worry or stress between the pet parent and pet! I have lots of open free time as I am a freelance artist that works from home! About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about 5 years now, often pet sitting for neighbors and friends while they were away. I have much experience in caring for both large and small dogs, as well as dogs with all different energy levels and play styles! I’m comfortable sitting for any pup, no matter the size or how they choose to enjoy their time. I currently work full-time, however, I will always have time to care for your pups! I will always be available to stop by every 8 hours at the longest, and am also always available to house sit overnight. About: I have my own dog and she’s been with us for 11 years now. I love getting to spoil her and show her how much I love her. I have also pet sat for my neighbors, family members, and friends. there’s nothing I love more than this world and animals and I love getting to take care of them. I’m currently working a part-time job. My hours stay pretty consistent but if you have specific times for drop ins definitely let me know and I can work around that. Other than work I’m not in school at the moment so have a bit more free time for frequent drop ins Depending on where I’m asked to be in my own house I have a nice yard that your animals can play in in a very sturdy fence. If it’s at your house, I love to take animals outside for a little while so they can spend some time getting fresh air and just getting to run around. About: I've loved animals ever since I was young but I like to call them family cause losing one of them is like losing my actual kids. I worked a couple yrs with all kinds of pets while having amazing customer service, patience & Love for all pets. I'm such a pet lover that my first wedding band was lil dog collars, I wanted to be a Vet growing up but I can't handle seeing hurt babies, I can't even watch the ASPCA commercials. About: I cannot remember a time in my life when dogs were not around. As soon as I graduated college, I began volunteering with a no-kill shelter in Austin, Texas. Volunteering at the shelter quickly expanded to becoming a dog foster. At the time, I did not have dogs of my own, so I was the perfect candidate to foster long-stay dogs as well as dogs with behavior and medical issues. My first foster was a tiny puppy recovering from Parvo. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding dog experiences of my life! Fostering dogs with behavior issues gave me the opportunity to participate in several training courses and programs. One of those dogs even inspired a dog-empowerment non-profit organization (Dogs Out Loud) -- she was also the logo! After several years of working with this dog, she became my last foster dog...because we adopted her! We introduced another dog into our home a few years later and it was a constant work in progress (and training) to keep those two in each other's good graces. Both of those babes have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We currently foster through DFW Lab Rescue because we are not ready to adopt, but as mentioned above, I can't imagine a home with no dog. My journey with dogs has allowed me to meet a wide range of unique creatures with unique needs, giving me the confidence to handle all types of dog situations. I work from home and am able to tend to pets all throughout the day. I love interacting with animals and I try to work them into any part of my day that is possible. I honor and respect all rules established within the home for each animal. I will spend time with and love on the animals in the same way I care for my own dogs.

I can help train your new puppy or make sure your senior cat is getting their daily meds and all the attention they need. I work from home so sleepovers or day care is super easy, also happy to do drop-in visits or walks in your neighborhood if commute and schedule allow. I have a large, fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood for walking, squirrel sighting, and generally smelling all the things. I know what it's like to leave your pets with someone you trust - let me earn your trust so that you can vacation/work/etc. peacefully.
About: I have been around Large and Medium size dogs my whole childhood, and would often care for them on my own for days to a week at a time. I get along well with both cats and dogs. I go to college and have classes Tuesday-Thursday, I often have lots of school work and I hope to integrate that into my pet-sitting. When caring for your pets, I will give them the exercise they need through walks and playtime while also giving them lots of cuddles so they are not lonely during my stay.
About: I have had many dogs over the years in all sizes! I have trained many puppies and I have worked in a pet boarding and daycare facility for 1 year. I have also pet sit many times! I am currently a college student but I am very flexible especially during the day and at night. I am can fit my schedule into yours. About: I did Rover back in college and stopped to fully focus on my masters degree. I have graduated and am looking to make and save some extra money while I'm job searching for my career!! I have two large dogs, Mason, an unknown mixed breed at 10 years old, and Milee a german shepherd at 7 years old. I raised them both from 3 months old and are both very well behaved, so I have experience with puppies all the way to large dogs. I am extremely active since I used to be a college athlete. If your dog needs to let out a lot of energy, I can run with your dog instead of walking if that's what you prefer! Any money I make is being saved for my future so it is much appreciated! I currently don't have any commitments for the mornings and afternoons. Will update my schedule if so! I go to the gym around 3:30-4:00 PM so I am available all morning and afternoon to walk your dogs! My pets are reaching seniority so they are pretty easy going and well trained. They are good with other dogs but I am only doing dog walking so they shouldn't be crossing paths unless I started the doggy day care. Maybe later on!

A typical day with me will consist of morning walks/play before breakfast, play time inside and outside, relaxing naps in the afternoon, and more playtime during the evening! About: I have had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember! Since I was young, my family has had multiple dogs; huskies, bulldogs, chihuahuas, pitbulls and labs. My love for dogs (and cats) has been growing for decades. My husband and I have a Carolina dog named Finn who is the sweetest boy ever! He loves to play in our yard, go on walks and take naps. We recently moved into a new home and have a gigantic backyard with lots of shade for hot days. We also have two male cats, Ed and Squid who do their own thing. I also have a 2 year old son! Every year our family takes a week-long beach vacation to 30A, and this was the first time we boarded Rocket in someone’s home instead of a traditional kennel. Rocket is a very clingy little guy. He is happiest when he’s right beside us, looking for an opportunity to jump in a lap or curl up on the couch for a snuggle. Needless to say, we were a little nervous about how he’d do. We shouldn’t have worried. Abigail and her three sweet daughters treated Rocket like he was part of the family. He got plenty of playtime, daily walks, and, most importantly, lots of couch snuggles and attention. It was obvious from the photos that he felt completely at home. Abigail was also outstanding with communication. Throughout the week she kept us updated through the Rover app with messages and photos. I think she sent more than 65 pictures while we were away!
