About: I have been a dog walker, dog bather, kennel tech, and worked at wildlife rehab. To say I love animals is an understatement, and I can't wait to meet and care for yours! I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Because I understand that for many pets, consistency is very important, I try to stick as close to your regular walk/outside schedules as possible to make sure routines are kept just that*. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. I don't mean to brag, but my belly rubs are the bark of the town my neighborhood. **With the summer heat, I expect any walks taken will be very early or as the sun is setting so their paws are protected.

About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!

Doors to the outside and gates from the yard are never left open, I understand because my dogs (and cat) can be runners. When I let the doggos out to use the restroom, they will be watched and not left unattended. I work from home at the moment so as long as we have good communication our schedules will always work out purrr-fectly. I don’t do certain holidays but we can negotiate about that later on I can’t wait to meet you and your furry babies. In a client's home, I prioritize maintaining the pet's routine such as feeding, meds, exercise, and playtime, all as instructed. I always watch for any signs of distress, and may OCD will have me keeping everything clean in general. My genuine goal is a safe, comfy environment for the pet and peace of mind for the parents. And in an emergency I know to always Stay calm, contact the parents and/or vet ASAP, and transport the pet safely if needed.
About: As a board certified behavior analyst, you can be sure your pet is in good hands. I have owned both dogs and cats. Reinforcement based methods are used :) I take my dogs out 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night) and feed them twice a day, morning and night. I allow them to lead walks unless I’m specifically training for them to walk beside me. I take pets to the local dog park (unless not desired by owner) and use treats as reinforcement for good behavior. I would also take them to get pup cups. I allow pets on the couch so that’ll likely be the spot your pup sleeps on!
About: I have a senior cat of my own and live with a service dog! This means I bring abilities like training and medication help to the table as well as being gentle with your seniors. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spare for your fur babies! We can always have a conversation about schedules that work for both of us and figure things out! I often take a 50+ dog out for walks and crate him as needed so I can apply these skills to your dog as required.
About: I have been around Large and Medium size dogs my whole childhood, and would often care for them on my own for days to a week at a time. I get along well with both cats and dogs. I go to college and have classes Tuesday-Thursday, I often have lots of school work and I hope to integrate that into my pet-sitting. When caring for your pets, I will give them the exercise they need through walks and playtime while also giving them lots of cuddles so they are not lonely during my stay.

We ended up having to cut the stay short because of Kai, but she was awesome & very helpful in a difficult situation. I just can't say enough good things about her. About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!
