Right from the start, her attention and care stood out. On the very first day, our dogs had a couple of accidents, and Samantha handled the pee and poop cleanup immediately and communicated with me. Our cat Jasmine was feeling quite shy and hid for the first day, but Samantha took the time to look for her and coax her out of her hiding spot. I have been pet sitting in people's homes for nearly 20 years now, and have worked professionally with animals for many years. Dogs to Hedgehogs and snakes, tell me how to best care for your pets and I will exceed your expectations. I have watched over nursing puppies in shelters, and senior dogs in veterinary care and boarding, so I have experience with animals with anxiety and giving medications. I am on summer break from work at a local school, so your little ones will have my full attention. I do have a few 2/3 hr events two evenings a week, but I will be available for any pets in training, or who may need more frequents outdoor breaks. Since every animal is different, I will let your pet lead the way with how much attention/ what kind of enrichment they like. About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. About: As a board certified behavior analyst, you can be sure your pet is in good hands. I have owned both dogs and cats. Reinforcement based methods are used :) I take my dogs out 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night) and feed them twice a day, morning and night. I allow them to lead walks unless I’m specifically training for them to walk beside me. I take pets to the local dog park (unless not desired by owner) and use treats as reinforcement for good behavior. I would also take them to get pup cups. I allow pets on the couch so that’ll likely be the spot your pup sleeps on!
About: I have been around Large and Medium size dogs my whole childhood, and would often care for them on my own for days to a week at a time. I get along well with both cats and dogs. I go to college and have classes Tuesday-Thursday, I often have lots of school work and I hope to integrate that into my pet-sitting. When caring for your pets, I will give them the exercise they need through walks and playtime while also giving them lots of cuddles so they are not lonely during my stay.

“Sarah and her family were the best. This was my first time using the rover app. I was referred by a friend and I was definitely very nervous in the beginning. We had to book the reservation last minute but the process was extremely smooth. We have never had to ask anyone other than family to look after cookie while we travel. Needless to say even with a few mishaps with cookie getting adjusted Sarah and her family handled cookie with absolute love and care. I was updated with pictures and that made my family and I feel even more at ease. I will definitely be using Sarah again as long and her and her family allows cookie to be a guest again. “Zachary and his family were absolutely wonderful to communicate with. This was our pups first time staying overnight with new caretakers and we’re super satisfied with the outcome. We received multiple photo updates from throughout the dogs stay keeping us in the loop on how they were doing. Not to mention Zachary and his wife were just kind individuals in general making us feel even more comfortable to leave our pups in their care. Will definitely be coming back again the next time we make the tough decision to go out of town without our babies- we know they’d be in good hands!”

About: Hi there! My husband and I have 3 kids (8-13) and 1 sweet pup. We have both had dogs our whole lives. My daughter started a pet sitting and boarding business several years ago for friends and family, and we've all fallen in love with it, so we decided to give Rover a shot! Our dog, Piper, loves having new friends to play with, we joke that she loves pet boarding more than we do! Our kids are homeschooled, and my husband works from home, so someone is nearly always here and ready for some playtime! We have a 6 year old mixed breed rescue pup (German shepherd/cattle dog is out best guess) who is living her best life when we have other pups come to visit. Our yard is large and fenced, with plenty of space to run and play. Our home is two stories, and pets are allowed to roam wherever they please! We do request that a crate be provided for the few times we will be away from home, and to give your pup their own space. Even the best playdates occasionally need a break, and we want your pet to feel like they have a place that's just for them!

Jonathan made sure to keep us updated each day, sending lots of photos and videos. We never had to worry whether she was safe and in good hands. “Perfect! If you're looking to have great care for your pet look no further. Our dog had a wonderful stay with them. They have 2 dogs of their own that he played with and kept him company. He also loved the attention from Aldrin and Teresa. They are a sweet friendly couple. Someone was always home to watch them and they took him on plenty of walks. That really helps when our dog is in a new place with new faces. We also appreciate their organization and communication skills. They confirmed the appointment the day before, asked good questions about our dog and provided just the right amount of pics/updates. The attention to detail is very much appreciated. We will definitely use them in the future and I know our dog will be looking forward to it.”
“Ms. Katia was very patient and understanding of my last minute pickup situation. She gave us a great view of Pico's activities through pics and videos, which in my opinion was the next best thing to being there. In the end, I could tell that Pico really adjusted well and enjoyed his time there.”
