I have experience with a variety of different pet breeds. Your pets are in good hands! I have a part-time job and am a full time student at college but I have plenty of time to go for walks or to pets sit at any home and will be most available during the months of May-August! In my apartment complex we have a special dog friendly area that is fenced. There will be me and another resident in the apartment and can expect to be home the majority of the day. I have no problem answering any questions or concern!

About: I have had dogs all my life. I am currently employed as a veterinarian technician. I have done pet-sitting for about 4 years. I do also pet-sit cats. I work as a full time veterinary technician. I work about 5-6 days a week. I am able to stop in for check-ins in the AM and PM before and after work. I am comfortable giving medication. I am able to house sit, walk, check-in, or just play with your pet. Being in veterinary medicine, I understand sometimes medication is needed, senior, diabetic, etc. I am able to tailor to each individual pet, as I understand that every pets needs are different.
About: I've been to several dog trainings with my own pups and I believe I've learned a lot from them. I've owned and dogsat all types of dogs for my family and my friends. From the fear reactive to the sweet couch potatoes. I'd love to spend some quality time with your fur babies while you are away! I work a full time job Monday - Friday but I am available all day or night during the weekends! If you are interested in services during the weekday I will be available after 6pm most days. I have a chain link fenced yard with extenders for the jumpers. A big yard for your pups to run around and play. I have 3 dogs at my house to play with your pups or I can keep them separately with baby gates. I also have 2 large kennels if you prefer for me to use. I do like the small gates better for more wiggle room but I will accommodate to what you feel comfortable with. For drop ins I would love to play fetch or tug with your pups and/or feed and give them what they may need.

About: My experience caring for dogs has taught me how to handle different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets stay safe and comfortable. I’m a full-time college student who works part-time, so I have flexibility in my schedule. I’m available Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets and give them the attention they need. I’ll make sure pets feel comfortable in their own home by keeping their routine, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and following all of their owner’s instructions. I’ll treat their home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own.
“It was my first time to use Rover. Shelly was amazing! She was great about communicating with me and sending me updates. I have a high energy boxer, so I needed someone who would work well with her. She did great, I’ll definitely schedule with Shelly again in the future!”

About: I have always loved caring for dogs and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own three dogs. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and cared for while they’re with me. “Jessica did an amazing job taking care of my three cats. Prior to the scheduled drop-ins, she took it upon herself to do a meet and greet with my cats, which was very important to us. For the scheduled visits, she dropped in twice a day for five days, followed all instructions perfectly, and made sure Gary, Sandy, and Mindy were fed properly, played with, and comfortable while we were out of town. She sent updates and photos during every visit, which I appreciated so much. I highly recommend and will definitely book with her again! ☺️”

About: I have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, therefore I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Because I have had many pets before including dogs, cats, fish, etc., I know that when it is time to travel either for business or vacation, or you are simply too busy to take care of your pet, it is important to have someone you can trust to take care of your pets like they are their own. I am a careful pet sitter who respects the animals and gives them anything and everything they need. I want the pets to be comfortable whether they are boarding with me or I am going to them. When it is time to work, my animals are my priority.
About: I have loved and lived with animals my entire life. My mother owns Hollyvillehounds which is a dogsitting business. I would love to begin my journey into this as well! I currently work full time and am usually available after 6PM on the weekdays. I am hoping to be able to get to the point of having this be my full time job. I would not be able to board since I am in an apartment. But I would love to come in and walk your babies for you!
About: My phone screen says it all...it's a photo of my dog, the first thing I see every morning and the face I look forward to coming home to. That love is exactly what I bring to every pet I care for. For 15 years, friends and family have trusted me with their pets during vacations, emergencies, and everything in between. I know that when an owner steps away, their pet feels it. I'm patient enough to sit with that, calm enough to reassure them, and attentive enough to know what they need in the moment. Whether that's extra cuddles, a familiar routine, or just a steady, loving presence. What sets me apart isn't just experience. It's that I genuinely care. Your pet won't just be looked after, they will feel it. One of the best things about my schedule right now is the flexibility. Working part time means I can shape my days around the pets in my care, whether that's an early morning walk, staying close during those first anxious hours after an owner leaves, or simply being home and present. Your pet won't spend the day waiting. They'll spend it with someone who's actually there. From the moment a pet enters my care, their comfort and safety come first. I live alone which means no unexpected chaos, just a calm space where pets can relax and settle in. My big backyard gives dogs plenty of room to run and explore safely, and my flexible schedule means I'm never rushing out the door. Your pet has my time and full attention. Trust is everything. Fifteen years of caring for friends' and family's pets has taught me how to earn it quickly, from the animals and their owners. I keep communication open with regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and loved. Whether I'm in my home or yours, my approach never changes: treat every animal exactly the way I'd want my own dog treated.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable animal lover who will care for your pets as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, so I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their routine, I’m here to help. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind! I am a full time online student so I have a very flexible schedule in regard to taking care of your pet! I usually wake up around 7 in the morning and take a morning walk with my dog. She gets lots of attention inside and outside and I would do the same for your pet. I have a dog park right behind us so I always take them to the park and there is River Legacy park right by me so I also go on lots of walks.
“Melissa was fantastic! It was my first time using rover, and I was a bit uneasy having a stranger come into my house but Melissa was very sweet and communicative from the very beginning! She arrived right on time, did exactly what I asked, and even offered to brush out my hairy dog while she hung out!! I will most definitely reach out again when needing help with my fur babies 😊”

About: Growing up, our household had many different types of pets. Including dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, rodents and more. I am very comfortable dealing with all sorts of animals, whatever shapes and sizes. I exceed in communication and do not mind adapting to any new situation. I maintain a clean organized house of my own, and will treat any place with the same values. I am not afraid of any animal but do honor boundaries with pets and their families alike. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
