About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands-on animal care experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for a variety of farm animals, which taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of paying attention to an animal’s individual needs. Pet care is a part of my everyday life because I’m a pet owner myself. I currently have a French Bulldog, so I’m very familiar with the unique needs of brachycephalic breeds and understand the importance of monitoring their activity, breathing, and comfort. I’m currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Biomedical and Translational Sciences, and my summer schedule is relatively light, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks and drop-in visits. I have always loved animals and volunteered at my local animal shelter throughout my undergraduate studies, where I gained experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and needs. Providing pets compassionate care is something I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets during drop-in visits and walks, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. During drop-ins, I can provide food and water, potty breaks, playtime, administer basic medications if needed, and give plenty of attention and companionship. For walks, I prioritize making sure they stay hydrated and comfortable, especially during the summer heat. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I’ve been taking care of all types of animals for many years. I took specific courses in high school on how to care for a wide range of animals. I also worked at a pet boarding center taking care of both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own and would want someone who loves them like I do. I love all animals no matter the size, amount of hair, or amount of limbs! I’m currently working part time with a fluctuating schedule so in my free time I would love to help out those who need some extra attention for their furry friends, or not so furry.
