Howdy! I am an Arlington resident and have been working with animals since I was a child. My mother and I hand fed and raised birds for adoption or release, and this forstered my love for animals. I have since assisted with the SPCA as a foster and a fospice volunteer, ran a pet rescue during the pandemic, and walked and boarded pets in my community. I am comfortble with walking, medicating, and light grooming, and will of course give your pets all of the love and playtime they need. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Highly recommend Melissa B! She took amazing care of Wrigley this weekend and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Great communication, very caring, and you can tell they genuinely love animals. Wrigley came home happy and well cared for. I truly appreciated all the updates and attention they gave him. Melissa is amazing! I am 1st timer ever using strangers to care for my babies and in all honesty it was nerve wracking. She not only squeezed us in last minute, but while I was away she updated me with pictures which put my mind at ease. I know I found my petsitter, and will be using her services in the future🙌🏼

Melissa was fantastic! It was my first time using rover, and I was a bit uneasy having a stranger come into my house but Melissa was very sweet and communicative from the very beginning! She arrived right on time, did exactly what I asked, and even offered to brush out my hairy dog while she hung out!! I will most definitely reach out again when needing help with my fur babies 😊

Zeitplan
I have a flexible schedule. I work from home and do not have set hours, so I can accommodate any requests you may have, including early morning, late evening, and everything inbetween. I am likewise available on weekends.

I have a large fenced-in backyard for dogs to play and live near a park where we can enjoy walks. I can set up an owner's crate or provide my own if crate training is part of your dog's routine. If I am boarding cats, I have a private room where they can get acclimated. If they are comfortable to roam the house they can certainly do so. I have cat trees, scratching posts, a water fountain, and lots of extra litter boxes for them to feel comfortable.

Ein typischer Tag
With dogs, I enjoy walking and playing fetch (the classics!). I personally enjoy hikes and going to parks, and I'm always happy to bring a dog along. I love lap dogs, but I am happy with energetic dogs who want to be active for most of the day. When it comes to cats, they will decide. I have lots of toys and can play with them, or let them do their own thing and hang out on the cat trees or scratching posts. If they prefer cuddles or pets for most of the day I am more than happy to indulge.
