About: Passionate dog lover with 16 years of personal pet care experience and 7 years of pet sitting. I provide loving attention, fun walks, and a reliable care for every pup. I am currently working part-time with a lenient work schedule. I have mornings and evenings open for your pup. And I love taking daily walks. Your pup’s safety, happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I love teaching good habits through positive reinforcement, helping dogs build confidence, stay active, and develop healthy routines. I provide a safe, caring environment where every pup feels loved, comfortable and supported.
“Alexandria was great with our dogs! Was never in a rush, gave medications, and became fast friends with our pups. They communicated very well and the report cards were great. Loved the photos. Will book again.”
“Gary was great with Lilith! I could tell that she had a really fun time playing with him. I got so many good pictures from Gary and he was very communicative and responsive. Definitely recommend him to anyone and will keep his contact for when we need him in the future.”

About: I cannot remember a time in my life when dogs were not around. As soon as I graduated college, I began volunteering with a no-kill shelter in Austin, Texas. Volunteering at the shelter quickly expanded to becoming a dog foster. At the time, I did not have dogs of my own, so I was the perfect candidate to foster long-stay dogs as well as dogs with behavior and medical issues. My first foster was a tiny puppy recovering from Parvo. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding dog experiences of my life! Fostering dogs with behavior issues gave me the opportunity to participate in several training courses and programs. One of those dogs even inspired a dog-empowerment non-profit organization (Dogs Out Loud) -- she was also the logo! After several years of working with this dog, she became my last foster dog...because we adopted her! We introduced another dog into our home a few years later and it was a constant work in progress (and training) to keep those two in each other's good graces. Both of those babes have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We currently foster through DFW Lab Rescue because we are not ready to adopt, but as mentioned above, I can't imagine a home with no dog. My journey with dogs has allowed me to meet a wide range of unique creatures with unique needs, giving me the confidence to handle all types of dog situations. I work from home and am able to tend to pets all throughout the day. I love interacting with animals and I try to work them into any part of my day that is possible. I honor and respect all rules established within the home for each animal. I will spend time with and love on the animals in the same way I care for my own dogs.
About: I've been caring for dogs for over a year and genuinely love spending time with animals. During that time, I've provided daily walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. I have two large dogs of my own—a German Shepherd and a Great Dane/Lab mix—so I'm very comfortable handling big, energetic breeds. Large dogs have a special place in my heart, and I understand the importance of keeping them active, engaged, and on their routine. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is in caring, dependable hands. I currently work part-time Monday through Friday from **12:30 PM to 5:00 PM**, which means I have great availability in the **mornings before work** and **evenings after work** for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I'm available **all day on Sundays** and **Saturday evenings**, making it easy to accommodate weekend care as well. If your pet is more comfortable having someone stay overnight, I'm happy to do that too! I also have the flexibility to **work remotely from your home** (with your permission), which means your pets can enjoy extra companionship and fewer hours alone during the day. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care while keeping your pet's routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I treat every pet like they're my own! My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. Every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality and match the energy they need. Whether your dog wants to play fetch, go on a long walk, explore outside, or spend the day cuddling on the couch and getting belly rubs and ear scratches, I'm happy to do it all. I always follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions you leave. When caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I'll keep everything clean, make sure your pet has fresh water, plenty of love and attention, and send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and in good hands.

“Evangelina is so good with my cats! She came in just after I had lost my younger cat and I was so worried the older one was going to be depressed. She was very communicative and worked hard to engage Peach with fun games and loving pets.”
“Abby was terrific with my kitty Piper. She came over before our trip to get to know the cat and understand our needs. She was personable and easy to talk with. She has a wonderful gentle energy and made friends with Piper who was feeling shy initially. Abby came in on time everyday, played with the kitty and even sent us photos from each visit. We needed to extend our time away and Abby was easy to connect with so we could modify the plans. I’d hire her again very happily and recommend her to my friends. Thank you Abby!”

I was in the United States Army for over 5 years, and am now an honorably discharged veteran. I love going to the gym and lifting weights! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kennedale
Jessica did a great job with my 4 animals. She sent pictures daily and responded to my texts within 5 minutes. Her daughter was also a big help, and I know all my fur babies enjoyed receiving all the attention. Jessica provided gentle care with my senior dog and even administered her daily pill. I'm thankful Jessica was available to take care of my pets. I will use her again in the future.

I reached out to Maci with a short notice request for drop-ins and was worried about him because it’s the first time I’ve had to leave him for extended periods. Maci has made this such a great experience for both Avi and myself, and she goes above and beyond during the visits! I really appreciate her and highly recommend to anyone needing care for their dog!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
