About: I have grown up in a house that always had animals in it, especially dogs and cats. I have a few clients that I have been watching houses for— for years, I believe in making connections with your clients pets so there is no worry or stress between the pet parent and pet! I have lots of open free time as I am a freelance artist that works from home! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about 5 years now, often pet sitting for neighbors and friends while they were away. I have much experience in caring for both large and small dogs, as well as dogs with all different energy levels and play styles! Volunteering at the shelter quickly expanded to becoming a dog foster. At the time, I did not have dogs of my own, so I was the perfect candidate to foster long-stay dogs as well as dogs with behavior and medical issues. My first foster was a tiny puppy recovering from Parvo. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding dog experiences of my life! Fostering dogs with behavior issues gave me the opportunity to participate in several training courses and programs. One of those dogs even inspired a dog-empowerment non-profit organization (Dogs Out Loud) -- she was also the logo! After several years of working with this dog, she became my last foster dog...because we adopted her! We introduced another dog into our home a few years later and it was a constant work in progress (and training) to keep those two in each other's good graces. Both of those babes have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We currently foster through DFW Lab Rescue because we are not ready to adopt, but as mentioned above, I can't imagine a home with no dog. My journey with dogs has allowed me to meet a wide range of unique creatures with unique needs, giving me the confidence to handle all types of dog situations. I work from home and am able to tend to pets all throughout the day. I love interacting with animals and I try to work them into any part of my day that is possible. I honor and respect all rules established within the home for each animal. I will spend time with and love on the animals in the same way I care for my own dogs.
About: I have my own dog and she’s been with us for 11 years now. I love getting to spoil her and show her how much I love her. I have also pet sat for my neighbors, family members, and friends. there’s nothing I love more than this world and animals and I love getting to take care of them. I’m currently working a part-time job. My hours stay pretty consistent but if you have specific times for drop ins definitely let me know and I can work around that. Other than work I’m not in school at the moment so have a bit more free time for frequent drop ins Depending on where I’m asked to be in my own house I have a nice yard that your animals can play in in a very sturdy fence. If it’s at your house, I love to take animals outside for a little while so they can spend some time getting fresh air and just getting to run around. I love playing fetch or tug-of-war and I love giving pets.
About: Hi, my name is Saella! Growing up, I have always had a love for animals and grew up around them, having 6 family dogs that I had helped to care for. My most recent care experience with dogs were for 14-16 year old dachshunds that had special needs. I also had the privilege and trust to foster a cat, Oppo, until he could be found a new forever home. When caring for animals, it’s important to treat them with care and as if they were my own. About: I am very patient and caring. I have two dogs of my own that I love like children and would give anything for them. I am willing to give your pet the same care. I am a personal trainer so I make my own schedule and am willing to help you if anything comes up like an emergency and such. I am willing to protect your baby with my life just as I would mine. About: I have worked as a pet bather during winter break during my time in undergrad, and I truly loved being able to work with different breeds and sizes of dogs. For personal experience, dogs have always been a big part of my life since I was born! I didn’t grasp the concept of what it’s like to actually care for a dog until I was in elementary school but since then I’ve always cared for every dog I’ve had and every dog my family member has had. I’m currently on summer break from OT school, so I have more than enough time to care for your pets! I am available on the weekdays and weekends from 7a-3p, so feel free to reach out! “I had a good experience in boarding my 2 Rottweilers ages 9 and 11 months to Luis. My female pup is on her development age where she acts skittish and growls when approach by people she does not know. Because of this behavior and having a big pup, I requested a meet and greet to see if Luis can handle my dog. On the meet up, as expected my female pup acted nervous and growled to Luis but Luis was so patient and gentle to took away her fear and slowly earned her trust. During my dogs 3 night stay, Luis took care of my pups like as his own pet. My pups really had vacation of their own, enjoying to Luis’ beautiful dog resort while my family are out of town. Luis has perfect place for dogs where they can have fun for a lifetime.”
